An Old Friend

Out of control, I started bolting towards Elizabeth. I saw the fear in her eyes, which made me go faster for some reason. "STOP, CONNIE! PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!!"

After Elizabeth yelled that, I was able to stop myself before I could hurt her. I chucked the knife down the hallway I bolted through, and looked back at Elizabeth's terrified face. "I'm so sorry, Elizabeth!! I-I really didn't mean to!!"

I wanted to cry, but I couldn't, Elizabeth was for sure crying. She ran off.
