I’m an idiot.
No need to say it.
I know it.
But my reflexes hit me first and it had nothing to do with the half stag half bird I was riding. They just pushed me off Mr. Palin so I could follow Knox in his mighty fall.
Then the realization hit. But it was too late so… ╮(╯▽╰)╭
Somehow, I had managed to fall faster than Knox. The wind slapping my face and echoing in my ears as if it was screaming /"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING? YOU’RE GOING TO DIE!!!/". Yeah, I know Mrs. Wind. But thankfully with my hands reaching out to Knox, I finally had my little black kitten in my arms. My heart started beating again and I didn’t care if I was falling to my death. I had Knox with me. That’s all it mattered to me.
