The raging highland (III)

Somehow the crowd around me just went quiet as I continued to calm Necole's wolf's rise and maintain a peaceful connection between his rising powers and his true self. 

Wolf's rise is a phenomenon that happens to those wolves only who have the capacity and power with respect to the blessing of the moon. And the only way to successfully overcome the phase to a safe transaction onto the next stage, external forces is used. 

The external powers calms the rise and controls the flow. But if not done correctly the powers can concentrate at a single point and burst. So the person who helps has to be very careful about the constant flow of power in the body up until it settles and gets absorbed in the body properly. 

It is like a do or die situation in the wolf packs. One has to be fast to react in this kind of situation. That's why the pack larder has to stay with the pack or at least a person who can control this energy.

"Necole now just feels the power flowing through your body like blood. Don't reject it and let it seep into your true self. If you understand, just nod."

He nodded, giving me the signal to move the powers more freely. I could feel his body relax, his claws retreat and his ears droop down. 'Good.'

It takes an average of fifteen minutes to complete this painstaking cycle but I am able to remove the painstaking part for it. 'It is done safely huuuu.' 

The powers newly given to the boy have been completely absorbed by the boy. The uproar in the area settled down. I open my eyes just in time to catch the now unconscious body of Necole. The boy was sweating a lot after his internal struggle. 

"I will take it from here. I thank my lord from the moon's blessers as well." Reed came and picked up the boy. 

"Then I will be in the room resting."

"Yes my lord." 

As I walk towards my room Rudi follows me. "You have questions I suppose."

"Yes!!" He was alarmed that I knew his thoughts.

"Speak your mind."

"How do you know how to control the wolf's rise? How did you meet the leader?"

"Good questions." I rub my chin while thinking and then as soon as I remember I say "well both the answers are in the same story. I was clearing out the Irrilan forest with my dad and found Reed lying in a cave. Since dad was a little far away I approached him. I had read many books on other beings so I knew at one glance that it was your leader."

Rudi nodded as he listened carefully.

"I looked at his condition and found out he was going through his wolf's rise. I was only eight at that time so Reed was thirteen. But looking at his worsening condition I stepped in, Reed had no power to oppose me and I carefully helped him go through his rise. It was hard on both of us but somehow we pulled through."

"Then?"

"Then I lost consciousness and when I woke up my dad said that he found me on the outskirts of the territory. Reed had traveled with me through the forest and set me to safety."

"Wow.." I hear Rudi murmur.

"After that me and Jasper would go to visit Reed a lot." 

"What a story...."

"It truly is." I look at the ceilings while remembering all the good times I had spent before they were taken from me. Gustav, just wait, I will decimate you.

Before anyone noticed I changed my expression quickly and entered the room assigned to me as Rudi also when to do his assigned work.

I was walking the hallways when I heard Rudi and Reed, so for some reason I hid behind the wall and heard even though I know Reed can probably sense me even after hiding myself.

"Leader!"

"What is that you need Rudi?"

"Umm...."

"Is it about the esteemed lord?"

"Yes." 

"You heard the story, didn't you?"

"hmm."

Since I was hiding behind the wall I couldn't see their face or expression. 

"It was truly a hard time. But because of the moon's blessing My lord showed up. It was honestly

one in a million chance that a person who knows how to calm down a wolf's rise would show up." 

"So that's why we are loyal to them."

"yes."

I closed my eyes and smiled. I walked out of my hiding place but as soon as I opened my eyes Rudi appeared in front of me. I jumped scared and backed away. But it was a wrong move, My leg got stuck in my robe and I went crashing down on the floor. 

'owww'

"Are you ok sir, You just fell really hard." Rudi asked, extending his hands out.

I took it and then answered out of embarrassment "I didn't fall, I attacked the floor."

"Backwards?"

"I am freaking talented." I dust myself off and then I say as I head towards where Reed is. 

"Then I am heading off." 

I saw Reed, he was waiting for me.

"Hope you are not hurt my lord."

I rub my template and say "I am fine. A fall like that is nothing."

"That's good to know."

"hmm"

"Jasper is on his way here."

"!!!!"

"He contacted everyone and asked about you. I just got a call and said he is specially tracking you."

"Then I guess it's time for my departure." 

"Then let me walk you out my lord. The night today is a full moon so you will have to be careful."

I nodded and walked towards the back house where my horse was. The horse was already fed and cleaned in this short period of time.

"My lord, what do I have to say to Jasper when he reaches here?"

"Just tell him I will be waiting for him at the magic tower with Edward."

Reed bowed and replied "as per the moon's wish."
