A few minutes ago, before Louise's entrance to Varest's room. He was running away from Vanessa. He escaped by jumping from one tree to another. He felt depressed after being interrogated by her all night. He ran to the window and rapidly run away.

But his efforts were in vain. No matter where he's hiding, Vanessa always finds him and pursues it. Even without looking at the person. She even throws an arrow at him to stop his track. Louise is already tired fulfilled by sweat.

"I hate vampire's nose. That's the reason why she can find me wherever I hide. A vampire can smell their prey from distance."

"Yes...Prince Louise."

The situation became awkward. Varest slowly steps backward. He's afraid the identity as a human is being caught.

"Is there anything you need from me, Prince Louise?" Varest asked.

"...Hm, I'm sorry. I have entered into your room without permission."

Did he get lost on the way?

"Should I call Miss Vanessa?" Varest wants to open the door.

"No, NEVER! Please don't!" Louise made him surprised because of the sudden move in the blink of an eye. Louise is now in front of him while covering Varest's mouth with his hand. Told him to shut up.

Someone knocked on the door and call Louise's name multiple times.

"Louise, I know you're in there. Do not underestimate my vampire's nose. Quick! Open the door, Varest! Runaway is not a good solution."

Vanessa did not stop knocking on the door.

"I will break this door if you two don't want to come out."

Her plan to break down the door makes Louise realize what he was doing. He gave up and was ready to surrender completely. His face was full of despair. Varest feels of wonder and holding back his laughter. He doesn't believe the goblin in front of him is a prince.

Louise asked Varest to open the door. He takes his order. Black Aura suddenly appeared. Vanessa entered with a black aura and approached Louise.

"Why did you run from me?" Vanessa asked him.

"Ah, that...It's just. Please stop your cruel eyes. I will grant you one request as promised. Please forgive me!"

Louise begged half to death. While Vanessa takes a deep breath. "Are you really going to grant one request?"

"Yes, of course!"

They see each other without blinking. "All right, then."

Louise was relieved by her answer. He sat down next to her while taking a snack. But Vanessa took the snacks away from his hands.

"It's for Varest. Not yours."

"Just a little bit. It will be fine."

"It's okay Miss Vanessa. Prince Louise can take it."

Louise immediately takes back the snacks and eats them. Vanessa just gives him an unbelievable gaze. While Varest pays attention to the two of them since only shakes his head.

"Louise, don't forget your promise. If you..."

"Yes, yes, I know!"

They come here without permission and now continue to be here. Varest feels uncomfortable. Especially with Louise's presence. He was afraid of his identity as a human being uncovered.

"I apologize for my rude word. This is my room... Miss Vanessa and Prince Louise here. I was busy with my stuff and need a time."

He pointed his hand at the messy books. Louise who was hated reading. "Then I'll go. See you later, Varest." He ran as fast as lightning out of his room.

"Tsk! Does he say that he was a clever prince from his kingdom? I don't think he's a prince." She was pissed off.

"Pft..haha. I can't believe it."

Varest couldn't hold back his laughter and Vanessa smiled sweetly. They both ended up laughing together because of the prince goblin's behavior.

"By the way, do you read those books? It's too many...don't push yourself and get enough to rest."

Varest stopped laughing and said. "No, I just want Prince Louise to go from my room. I don't want him suspicious of me. Do you forget? That I am human?"

I forgot about that. Why could I forget about Louise's condition?

"That's a good plan. Tomorrow morning Louise will return to his kingdom and you can touch your sword."

Vanessa gets up from her seat. Varest helps her by opening the door for her.

"Thank you, see you tomorrow." She stroked his hair.

"It will be my pleasure, Miss Vanessa."

Varest closes the back. His heart pounding firmer than usual. His face flushed like an octopus. His mind is filled with her beautiful face. "No...Focus!"

Tomorrow I can start practicing again. It is going to be my first time training with Miss Vanessa. Sir Basil said that she has a unique technique created by herself. She works hard for this eternal war. She's very ambitious for victory.
