The trio drank, but Seok-Woo only took small sips as he still needed to drive back home. He listened as both Hae-Jung and Soo-Yeon bickered with each other, gaining a lot of information about the two of them in the process.
"Soo-Yeon, you annoying girl. Why don't you find somewhere or someone else to spend time with?" Hae-Jung said, trying to pry herself away from Soo-Yeon's embrace. Both of them had already had a few glasses of alcohol.
"Don't be like Gyeong-Eun... I need some company, you know..." Soo-Yeon pouted, holding on to Hae-Jung despite her attempts to get away. After a few seconds, she finally released her.
Hae-Jung sighed in relief when she was freed, but before she could relax, Soo-Yeon quickly moved behind her and groped her breasts with both hands.
"Soo-Yeon, let go of me!" Hae-Jung shouted, trying to break free from Soo-Yeon's grip, but she held on tightly. Seok-Woo halted as he observed the situation, momentarily looking away before taking another sip and glancing back at them.
Hae-Jung and Soo-Yeon struggled for dominance, Hae-Jung increasing her strength as she remembered Seok-Woo was still there. Soo-Yeon, on the other hand, made sure Seok-Woo had a good view between them.
It took a few minutes until they stopped, both now sweating and breathing heavily. Seok-Woo remained silent during the scuffle, positioning himself as a spectator.
After that moment, Soo-Yeon and Hae-Jung continued to drink, but this time there was a distance between them, as Hae-Jung was wary of Soo-Yeon's actions.
Soo-Yeon noticed this but didn't care, redirecting her attention to Seok-Woo, who had been sitting quietly. She suddenly stood up and walked toward Seok-Woo, sitting beside him and pressing her chest against his side.
"So, did you like what you saw?" Soo-Yeon asked, looking at Hae-Jung's reaction, earning a glare from her. But Soo-Yeon ignored her and looked back at Seok-Woo, expecting his answer.
"To be frank, I did like it," Seok-Woo replied without hesitation, meeting her gaze. "Pleased with my response?" he added, smiling lightly at her, which amused her.
"Want to see more?" Soo-Yeon asked, with a hint of seduction. Hae-Jung's expression changed as she heard this. She moved to stop Soo-Yeon before she could do anything, pulling her away from Seok-Woo. Soo-Yeon was about to remove her top before Hae-Jung held her back.
"I was just joking. Don't be so serious," Soo-Yeon said to Hae-Jung as she let herself be pulled away. But as she was being pulled, something about Hae-Jung struck her.
"You know, this is why you're not as popular in high school as you wished. You're too serious about everything," Soo-Yeon reminded Hae-Jung, increasing her strength as Hae-Jung pulled her away.
"No wonder Mi-Kyung is more popular with everyone at school," Soo-Yeon continued, which angered Hae-Jung. But she didn't express it openly, aware of Seok-Woo's presence. Instead, she let go of Soo-Yeon and walked back to pour herself another glass of alcohol, downing it in one go.
Soo-Yeon noticed the change in Hae-Jung and knew that she had touched a nerve. So she walked towards her and tried to comfort her. At first, Hae-Jung didn't like it, but as time passed and more glasses of alcohol entered their system, they reconciled.
Seok-Woo wondered to himself whether to go home or not. He had already spent time doing nothing, just watching. So he somewhat regretted being here. But as he was occupied in his thoughts, both Hae-Jung and Soo-Yeon talked among themselves.
"I want to show something to Seok-Woo, but I need your help," Soo-Yeon said to her as she adjusted her glasses on her face.
Intrigued by what she was planning, Hae-Jung asked back, "What do you want me to do?" This prompted Soo-Yeon to whisper in her ear.
As Hae-Jung heard what she was saying, she blushed and replied, "Are you crazy? No way I'm going to do that." She looked at her disapprovingly and started to distance herself.
Soo-Yeon was disappointed that she refused, but she had something up her sleeve. So she looked at Seok-Woo and asked him, "Seok-Woo, what do you like about Hae-Jung from what you observed?"
Seok-Woo was flabbergasted by her question. "Is she drunk that she's just saying whatever she wants?" He thought to himself and started to consider whether to answer it or avoid it. To be honest, there was little to say about her. Aside from her appearance, there was nothing he could like about her.
Seok-Woo wasn't the type of person who would be enticed so quickly, unless it was too much for him to handle. But he couldn't be so sure about himself either.
Seeing that he still hadn't answered, Soo-Yeon moved behind Hae-Jung again and hugged her.
"Hae-Jung here is a beautiful woman, has a nice place to live, is smart like me, Gyeong-Eun, and Yerin. She also has a great body from working out," Soo-Yeon said to him as she started to fondle Hae-Jung's body. Because both of them were intoxicated, they didn't have a scuffle again, though Hae-Jung still tried to get away from the situation.
"The downside is her personality, well, it depends on the person," Soo-Yeon said to him. Seok-Woo just nodded. He felt that Soo-Yeon was trying to be a matchmaker. But before he could continue his thoughts, Soo-Yeon did something that surprised both of them.
Whether she was thinking properly or not, Soo-Yeon said to him, "Just to show some of it. Here, feast your eyes." She then started to pull up both Hae-Jung's shirt and bra in one go, revealing her bare breasts to Seok-Woo.
Seok-Woo stopped drinking as he saw this, and coughed afterward as he composed himself. "What the heck... This woman is as crazy as Hae-Jung said," he thought to himself, though he sneaked glances at Hae-Jung's bare breasts.
"Well, that's bigger than Sung-Hee and Sunhwi," he thought to himself as he glanced at Hae-Jung. In a quick motion, Hae-Jung covered herself and hit Soo-Yeon multiple times. "You jerk, why did you do that!" She shouted as she hit her. Soo-Yeon just laughed while shielding herself.
Seok-Woo felt it was time for him to leave. Who knows what might happen if Soo-Yeon gets even wilder than this. He stood up and addressed the two of them. "Professors, I'll be going home now. Thank you for inviting me, and see you on campus next week," he respectfully said to them. Both Soo-Yeon and Hae-Jung stopped all movement.
"Then take care of yourself. We'll continue on our own," Hae-Jung said to Seok-Woo as she covered Soo-Yeon's mouth.
Seok-Woo nodded at her and glanced at Soo-Yeon, who looked at him for help. However, he chose to ignore it and left them to their own devices. He walked out without turning back, exiting without anything further happening.
As the door closed, signaling Seok-Woo's departure, Hae-Jung released her hand from Soo-Yeon's mouth and sat back on the floor. She sighed and poured herself another glass of alcohol.
Soo-Yeon sat in front of her, grabbed the bottle from Hae-Jung, and poured herself a drink. The two drank silently, and after a while, Hae-Jung spoke up. "Why did you have to do that? You're just making him uncomfortable around us," she said to Soo-Yeon, her words starting to slur.
"Sorry about that, I went too far again," Soo-Yeon apologized but smiled as she said it. "I hope that Seok-Woo won't be weirded out by us because of that," she said to herself and Hae-Jung.
Both of them continued drinking until they were drunk. Meanwhile, Seok-Woo made his way to exit the building.
As he did, he thought to himself, "What a night... Now, I need to think about tomorrow. Well, I'll dress up nicely this time. Just in case. Don't want to look like a fraud after all." He pondered as he walked toward the exit.
When he was about to leave, he stopped upon seeing someone. Surprise registered on his face as he looked at the person in front of him. The individual also paused, meeting his gaze for a few seconds before speaking. "Seok-Woo...?"
Seok-Woo replied, "Sunhwi... didn't expect to see you here." He never anticipated encountering her. As he observed her, she carried a plastic bag, wearing shorts and a plain t-shirt.
"Obviously, I live here," Sunhwi retorted, then asked, "And you, why are you here?" Curiosity gleamed in her eyes. She hadn't expected to see him either.
"I visited someone, spent some time. And that's about it," Seok-Woo answered, to which Sunhwi nodded.
"I'll be going now. See you again," Seok-Woo said to her, smiling, then walked past her. As he did, Sunhwi's hand grabbed his shirt.
"Do you really need to go home now?" Sunhwi asked, prompting Seok-Woo's confusion at first. He replied honestly, "Not really, I don't have anything left to do outside."
Sunhwi then suggested, "Then... Do you want to come inside my home and hang out?" Seok-Woo didn't respond immediately; instead, they locked eyes.
Maintaining eye contact, Seok-Woo finally replied, "... Sure." His agreement elicited a light smile from Sunhwi. Both were not oblivious to what might happen afterward. Though Seok-Woo actively suppressed his dirty thoughts, his desires overtook all reasoning.
Still, Seok-Woo maintained control over himself. Sunhwi, on the other hand, knew from the start what she had just proposed. For some reason, she could not resist something deep inside her when she looked at Seok-Woo, especially when they were alone.
As they walked side by side, Sunhwi engaged Seok-Woo in conversation about the usual things: classes, professors, and their overall university experience. Though Seok-Woo didn't have much to say, the same couldn't be said for her.
"You know, I've had fewer guys coming up to me and asking for my number ever since I kissed you in public. I'm thankful for it, as they wouldn't pester me as much before," Sunhwi shared, to which Seok-Woo replied, "Then you should show me your gratitude. Words don't really count for me," smirking as he said it. Sunhwi responded similarly, "I'll think about it later," looking ahead.
Not long after, they arrived at Sunhwi's place. She punched in the number on the keypad, and as the door closed behind them, they made their way to the living room.
"Make yourself at home," Sunhwi offered as Seok-Woo settled onto the couch. She placed the plastic bag on the table, its contents revealing a variety of drinks and snacks.
Noticing Seok-Woo's gaze on the bag's contents, Sunhwi remarked without looking at him, "Don't eat too much, as I brought it for myself." Seok-Woo nodded and grabbed a snack, beginning to consume it.
Sunhwi sat beside Seok-Woo, mirroring his actions. As they settled in, they continued their conversation, passing the time for a few minutes. However, as time passed, something couldn't be held back any longer, creating an atmosphere in the room that seemed ripe for something to happen.
