Chapter VII: Project Mephisto.

Reunited at an apartment, The 'friends' of Lester Veil were browsing their ideologies at such a tardy time.

"Either you like it or not, what's done is done. We were being careful, since the guy killed on this first appearance."

Lily Lane replied, nervous at the sight of her Captain, Amanda Freckles.

"True. I followed Lily on this one for the same reason."

Added Damian Stale at her side.

And Tommard, to everyone's surprise didn't say anything.

"Like it?~~Are y'all forgetting what's our purpose? We don't 'be careful'.. You just messed with Thanos-level calliber type of person. I don't know what instigated that mysterious thought but Lester is no longer the one you knew. You could have simply shared your worries with me. I would have told you more about him."

Knowing they fucked up a bit, Lily Lane and Tommard felt guilty.

But again, Tommard looked like he wasn't part of it.

"We are sorry, Cap.."

Sighing at the view of such imbeciles, Amanda Freckles started to explain more of the situation and why they shouldn't have messed up with Lester Veil.

"Project Mephisto was not created by the government, though I did tell you it was. It was the work of Vampires. The same Vampires that suck blood from us, humans. Years ago, Dr. Strange: One of the Founding Member of The Vengers met them. Unable to fight them on equal grounds, he gave up his live to prevent Human Extinction. Since The Avengers were dead* and No Heroes* were willing to come help. And in such dire moments, choices were minim. But that didn't mean the end. A product was born; Project Mephisto. Since The Vampires were still looking for a way to prevent their extinction and conquer the Humans. They developed a potion able to render immortal and blood-eating free anything that was able to drink it. It would also give the ability to regenerate unlimitedly, total control over Blood, Mach thinking, and a lot more insanities. that you can't even imagine..."

Lily Lane sacred asked: "Where are you getting with this, Cap?"

Amanda Freckles continued.

"Lester is Strange's bastard. His mother was Strange's concubine at some point in her life. And it led to his fated moment where The Vampires wanted to make Strange's legacy suffer. When he was born, Lester was injected The Project Mephisto*. Though it didn't have any effect in his early years of living. The same time he moved over to Europe, he started to feel the change. And since he was already a spider man through the work of Osborn Corp.. The Project Mephisto made him who he is today: A Monster."

A Few Hours After Lester Veil finally met Freckles.

"I am back, Filli."

Sitting on the edge of the FIB Agency block.

The moon was lighting the figure that was Lester.

A bloody Spiderman that was thirsty for blood.

And by his side, A Vampire that went by the name of Filli Norlean.

"I can see that, dummy."

Hands enlaced, they were looking ahead to the future.

A future where the Humans might give up their Statue of The Strongest Creature on Earth.
