Once upon a time, there was a vampire hunter named Brandon Breaker who fell in love with a vampire woman named Lea Granjas.

Brandon had no idea at the time that Lea was not only a vampire but also a vampire princess destined to become the next vampire queen. Because Lea loves Brandon so much, he decided to just pretend she's a normal human being and instruct some of her vampires to pretend not only as ordinary humans but also as her family, especially since Lea knows her family will condemn her relationship with Brandon.

It is not only against the law for vampires to have romantic relationships with people who are not of their vampire race; it is also stated in their vampire law that if one vampire is killed, the one who kills must also die; the more vampires you kill, the more brutal and long your death should be. Because of this, Lea is aware that Brandon is in danger from her family. Aside from that, Lea knows that even if Brandon and her feel the same level of love for one another, there is still a good chance that Brandon will not break his duty as a vampire hunter for her and that her revelation to him will just result in their relationship being broken, which is why Lea decided to just pretend because she is blinded by love already, even if she knows that anytime her true identity can be discovered by Brandon.

Lea is fortunate to have a childhood friend named Froy Mendez as the current leader of her vampire bodyguards, who guard and protect her wherever she goes. Lea's father, Zenu Granjas, the current vampire king, is the one who selects Lea's bodyguards and their leader. Zenu chose Froy to lead her bodyguards because he has been Lea's closest friend since childhood.

Zenu is unaware that the bodyguard leader he chose for Lea, Froy, is assisting Lea in concealing her relationship with Brandon.

Froy knows that what he feels for Lea is more than just a friendship, but he can't tell her because he is afraid that it will break their friendship and cause them to drift apart, especially since Froy sees that Brandon is truly the one that Lea loves. Even when Froy feels pain, he knows that the happiness he feels outweighs the pain, especially when he sees Lea happy because of Brandon. That is why he chooses to assist Lea in concealing her relationship with Brandon from Lea's family and other vampires, even though he knows death may be Zenu's punishment if he is caught.
