CHAPTER 5: REBORN

In a room*

Maxim slowly opened his eyes, with a body that sores everywhere, it was like a deja vu, him opening his eyes into this same room.

He slowly stood up and walked down stairs, it was so quiet, he reached the kitchen where Martha is preparing food."Oh, you're awake."Martha hurriedly checked on Maxim, like a mother that is worried to his son.

"Why is it so quiet?"Maxim asked, normally, Jay would be jumping around before leaving for hunting."They're outside for hunting, you missed them leaving this morning, you've been asleep for 2 days."

Martha and Maxim talked about what happened while Maxim is asleep, after an hour or two, Noah and Jay arrived.

"Max!"Jay excitedly jumped at Maxim, hugging him as soon as he saw him."You finally woke up, I have so many things to fill you up with, first you... and then.."Jay talked nonstopped and told Maxim everything, from where he awaken after being attacked by a dire wolf and jumping to level 4, Maxim's eyes brigthens through out the time, its like his life is finally about to start.

"And since you've awaken too, you don't gonna have the time to slack off here at home."Noah poped in."Right after you recover, you will come with us, I would personally train you."

"I'm not against that idea, but be sure that Maxim is fully recovered before starting to train him."Martha also joined in, she's so worried.

"That's great Max! we will be brothers under the same master from now on."Jay happily said.

That night, the house was so lively, everyone is cheerfull, the next day, Noah and Jay took Maxim with them, Noah assisted Maxim as possible as he could, he teached him all he knew slowly but surely, Maxim on the other hand was fast to pick up, he was learning at a great pace, it was as if he was reborn, although he's not as efficient as Jay, he's still learning.

2 years later*

After training for a year under Noah's wing, Maxim have reached level 15 [3 star warrior], a step away to reach the elite warrior stage, on the other hand, Jay have already long reached that stage, him being at level 24 [2 star elite warrior], like his father, Jay also awakened his unique ability which is Ice manipulation.

At the Frost's residence*

"After teaching you two for a whole year, even if I'm at the Grandmaster stage, I think I don't have anything more to teach you two."Noah stated."So I think, It's time for you two to experience the outside world."

Martha didn't argue with what her husband said, yes, she is worried, but she also knew that having experience is essential for practitioners, so she just gave the kids a light smile."I, as your mother, am worried, but I won't stop you from chasing your dreams."Martha said, she then proceeds to hug the two.

Hearing this words, Maxim's heart felt warm, not only did they took him in, but they treated him as a family, Martha even called him her son, this thoughts make him think about Sister Annie and Father Anthony.

"Where should we go?!"Jay asked excitedly."We're going on adventure Max! I'm excited."

"Can I visit my home before leaving?."Maxim askes."Of course, I would like to meet your family too."Jay agreed.

The Frost's residence is at the Black forest located near the border of the Outer capital and Black tortoise country, Its not far but also not near, it would take 2 to 3 whole days before reaching it.

the next day, Jay and Maxim begun there adventure.
