But surprisingly, the beast swiftly turned around and shot towards Sun Kang who couldn't help but be flabbergasted by the agility and reflex of the ape-like beast.

"What a monster." Sun Kang said in shock.

Then he immediately raised the hand that held that dazzling violet blade up and powerfully swung it down against the enormous arm of the ape-like beast which was howling through the air towards his head.

The moment the blade made contact with the large muscular arm of the ape-like beast, the arm was abruptly severed off and was followed by a loud roar of excruciating pain from the beast. While the blood that shot off from that arm that was severed off, completely showered upon Sun Kang's silhouette where it entirely covered his hair, face, arms and the uniform that he wore with bright red blood.

Then Sun Kang who wouldn't give his opponent a breathing space once he overpowers or overwhelms them, immediately leapt up towards the head of the ape-like beast to cut it off and bring an end to this man-and-beast battle.

Therefore, with a forceful vertical rotation of his whole body where it turned a full 720-degree in the air, Sun Kang immediately swung the blade held in his hand at the neck of the beast once he arrived at that region of its body from his powered high jump.

Slash!

Immediately the violet blade made contact with the neck of the beast, the head immediately severed off from the cleanly slashed neck and then shot into the air like a projectile where it was instantly accompanied by a rising column of fresh warm blood that splattered over the ground a few seconds later.

When Sun Kang landed to the ground at the same time that the ape-like beast's head fell to the ground from it travel into the air, Sun Kang narrowed his eyes and said, "Another one down. Let me go up there and see what this beast was storing and amassing in its cave."

Then with a dash using a normal Movement Art, he arrived at the highly-dug cave that the beast jumped down from to tear him apart out of furiousness for challenging it.

Once he got there a few moments later, he saw numerous amounts of gourds that contained surprisingly heavy liquids. Then when he opened one of them and poured just a little of its content at the ground, the sweet and mind-calming smell that wafted out of the gourd and entered his nostrils made him feel great and immensely pacified.

'Cultivation liquid? Sun Kang asked within himself with a raised brow.

'It should be.' He said further in his mind and then nodded his head as a confirmation to what he thought.

Of course, he had come across amazing cultivation liquids in exceedingly rare, naturally-birthed treasure caves that he found out of genuine luck years ago during many of his highly dangerous adventurous exploration in forbidden zones that were full of powerful natural entrapments that could effortlessly kill of experts that were just a stage or level below his previous cultivation tier, which was the Ancestral Law God tier.

So, he could quickly identify what was in the gourd. However, the one in the gourd held in his hands couldn't compare to those ones that he came across in those cultivation treasure caves in any way. Besides, the one in his hand was man-made, as it was created by a group of alchemists.

'So many impurities. I wish I could refine this to increase its strength. But alas, I can't do that. Or I will explain where I obtained an alchemical refinement technique from to the elders who are currently watching my every move out of exceeding curiousness. What a waste. Sigh!' Sun Kang said inwardly and then shook his head in dejection.

The dejected feeling hovering within his mind didn't however show on his face that maintained a faked excited smile.

'Anyway, this doesn't stop me from not using it. I will drink them all and use a particular, superb body-purifying technique to push out all the impurities that will be introduced into my body and will clog my Origin Energy meridians.' Sun Kang said and nodded his head.

Then with a single thought from him, all the gourds laying on the ground which were surprisingly, dearly protected by that ape-like beast, was immediately stowed away into his spatial ring.

Once he properly looted this place where he didn't leave anything behind, he proceeded to find a place where he will be able to cultivate silently and not be disturbed by anyone or anything.

As he left the cave to use his senses to navigate within the mountain, some of the elders who were watching him including elder Guo Lin, all turned their heads to look at elder Guo Lin who had a proud expression in his face as he sipped a sweet-smelling cultivation tea.

"What? What is the meaning of these looks in your faces? Don't tell me you are envious of that wonderful kid. Haha. Go find yours. Pray to the Heavens to lead you to one and still assist you in identifying that person as an upcoming notable genius." Elder Guo Lin said with an increasingly proud expression in his face.

While the surrounding elders who he said that to, all laughed in envy with one saying, "But elder Guo Lin, you are really really lucky. According to what you told me sometimes ago, you said that once you caught sight of this boy, you could immediately feel that he was different from the rest. That he had this sharp and determined eyes and an aura that even caused you to feel like you were looking at something that can't be messed around with."

"Exactly!" Elder Guo Lin said to confirm what that elder mentioned.

He then spoke further, "As soon as I came across him, I knew that this boy was different. I don't know what changed in him since I heard the not-so-good remark that great outer elder Xiong Yan mentioned about him when he went through the performance report books of the outer court disciples in the past and came across his, but when this boy came back, he came back with a sharp edge, a ruthlessness and decisiveness that can't be matched by any of our disciples at the moments. Even by those being currently trained by the Sect Master!"

"The moment he told me he killed off a fifth-layer, Common Law Warrior-stage rogue cultivator at the third layer of the same stage, and didn't shake or fidget when he said that before me, I instantly perceived that the boy was going to become someone who will rise very soon to be known as a prominent genius. And I am sure he is still on his way there. You elders should anticipate that defining glorious moment. Haha!"

"Then also after noticing some quite subtle characteristics about him which invoked a really strong curious feeling in me about him, I immediately took him under my reins before you damned envious elders will steal my heaven-sent gem to me."

An elder said with a jealous expression in his face, while the others laughed and resumed their watch over the disciples moving through the Treasure Wilderness with persistence, perseverance and determination boldly written on their faces.
