Cryptids Academy was divided into two sections, A & B. Section A students were Irregulars—unmatched in talent and power. To get in, one had to compete in the school tournaments against one of the five Section B professors. Section B was for regular students, like Seth but just a bit better, nothing extraordinary.
Professor Willion taught the Section B regulars. While most Irregulars were indifferent to Section B teachers, Professor Willion was an exception, commanding respect. That's why Luke left as quickly as he did.

The students' names were called one by one to grab their Awakening Crystal.
Seth watched as students eagerly lined up.
"Seth!"
A voice came from behind. Seth turned to see Donfoo, a dwarf who was once his friend. When Jutsu and Luke came along, Donfoo changed, mocking Seth to stay on the twin brothers' good side. Donfoo continued boldly.
"I heard this is your third time trying to awaken. You're not going to fail again, are you? Might as well not embarrass yourself," Donfoo sneered.
Seth did not respond, focusing on the teacher as usual, even when beaten by bullies. He always ended up in the nurse's office but never fought back.
"Donfoo!" Professor Willion called.
"Watch, Seth. This is how you awaken."
"Donfoo's very handsome, isn't he?" a girl asked dreamily.
"Isn't he a dwarf though."
"Yeah."
"Aren't dwarves supposed to be ugly and short?"
A few girls chattered about Donfoo, who was unusually tall and handsome for a dwarf, making girls fall for him.
He walked to the front and stood before Professor Willion, a humble and confident smile on his face.
"Donfoo, your primary awakening is Forest, right?" Professor Willion asked.
Donfoo nodded confidently.
"Good. Grab a crystal, head to the corner and clear your mind, feeling every part of your body—your heartbeat, blood flow, muscles, and lungs."
Donfoo nodded, thinking, "This should be easy." He took an awakening crystal.
Whoosh~~~~
A sudden windy air and bright light emanated from the crystal held by a young woman with blue eyes, fair skin, and long bright orange hair. The crystal transformed into a staff, the light dimming until it vanished.
"It cannot be! It's really the staff of Ventos, the Gust Goddess!!!" Professor Willion exclaimed. Some girls in the class gave jealous looks and whispered.
the girl who just awakened Elimval's happy expression vanished upon hearing the whispers. She was bullied just like Seth. Jutsu had once asked her out, and since she rejected him, she had been tormented by her classmates.
"Next…"
"Next…"
"Next..."
"Next, Seth Crow."
"It's your turn," Donfoo smirked.
Seth walked towards Professor Willion, ignoring Donfoo.
"It's Seth's turn," a girl said.
"I heard it's his third time trying to awaken. Is it true?" a boy asked.
"Maybe it's just a rumor Luke and his brother started," another boy said.
"Shhhh! Do you want to become a target?"
"Seth, grab a crystal, and stand on the other side and cle—"
Professor Willion was cut off by Seth.
"This is my third time, professor. I know how to do it."
Seth's right hand trembled as he grabbed the crystal.
Thud, thud, thud~~~~
The crystal slipped from Seth's hand and fell to the floor, catching everyone's attention.
"What happened?"
"Why'd he let go of the crystal?"
"Did he fail again?"
Whispers arose from his classmates.
Professor Willion furrowed his brow, lost in thought. "I didn't think it was true—his body rejects the crystal's Force he can't touch the crystal."
"Like I said, not everyone will awaken. Seth, take your seat, please," Professor Willion instructed gently.
Donfoo leaned in, a smug grin spreading across his face. "Told you it was going to happen. Maybe you should just quit, Seth."
Seth ignored Donfoo's taunts and walked back to his seat, his face a mask of indifference.
"Alright, class, let's continue," Professor Willion said, striving to maintain order.
Professor Willion continued the ceremony, calling out names as students eagerly took their turns. Each successful awakening was met with cheers and applause.
After the final student had taken their crystal, Professor Willion addressed the class. "Congratulations to those who have awakened their secondary element. For those who have not, remember that the Inheritance Awakening still awaits."

"Now, we will proceed with the Inheritance Awakening," Professor Willion announced, his voice steady and commanding.
Suddenly, a low hissing sound grew louder from above. Before anyone could react, a sonic boom shattered the silence, and a powerful wind burst through the classroom, shattering the glass windows of Cryptids Academy.
Students screamed and ducked for cover as shards of glass flew through the air. Professor Willion remained composed, conjuring a protective barrier around the students. The wind roared, whipping debris and papers into a violent storm within the classroom.
Professor Willion's barrier shimmered as it resisted the storm's fury. His gaze was fixed on the scene outside, trying to identify the source of the disturbance.
"Everyone, stay calm and remain under the barrier!" he commanded, his voice cutting through the chaos.
The students huddled under the barrier, their faces pale with fear. Seth, crouched on the floor, struggled to see through the shattered windows. The wind outside was relentless, and the roar seemed to shake the very foundations of the academy.
Professor Willion's eyes narrowed as the source of the disturbance came into view. Seth's eyes widened in shock as a massive figure became clearer in the distance. The giant man, with grey skin, long golden hair, and a red subligaculum, loomed menacingly, distorting the air around him.
It raised it's hand, and a swirling ball of red light began to form. Seth's heart raced as the ball grew, crackling with intense energy.
Professor Willion's expression turned to one of alarm. "Get down!" he shouted.
Before anyone could react, the red light ball was launched, streaking towards the academy with terrifying speed. The beam struck the protective barriers, which disintegrated into a burst of shimmering fragments.
The explosion was immediate and deafening. The ball of light collided with the academy, and a blinding flash engulfed everything. Seth was thrown to the ground by the blast, the impact jarring his bones. The room was filled with screams and the sounds of shattering debris as the walls of Cryptids Academy crumbled.
As the dust settled and the noise faded, Seth struggled to rise, his vision blurred by smoke. The classroom was a wreckage of splintered wood and broken glass. The once-pristine academy was now a ruin.
Seth's breath caught in his throat as he surveyed the destruction. The area where his classmates had been was now a vast expanse of debris. The reality of the situation struck him hard—everyone on the other side had been obliterated by the giant's attack.
