"Do you have anything to say for yourself, Leonard?" A middle-aged man built like a bulk was sitting on a chair fashioned with metal, with a vast glowing spear stuck to the ground beside him.

This was Theodore Brace, the current leader of the Brace Family in Lenor city.

The news of Leonard being defeated by Ragnar's hand had already reached the ears of the master of the Brace family. Being one of the seeded participants in the next big four academy test, Leonard was expected to have very high standards in terms of strength and overall ability. But his loss to Ragnar changed everything. This was a matter of shame for the entire Brace family to have one of their seeded heir lose to some no name such as Ragnar Avalon. Although the Avalon family was a prestigious family, they were no where near to compare with Brace or Thorn.

"I have nothing to say. I lost because I was weak. Hence, I want to request something from the patriarch." Leonard said.
