Side Story: Unknown land with dust part.2

Before in this side story, all three of them being dragged by unknown force and arrived in this unknown land. Cera, Sakura Zeimachi and Hylia the blossomed flower who likes chocolate ice cream are the one who take part in this side story, while Yjor got leaved behind to watch over the Void.

"*Fluttering*"

"It's...probably okay, they don't have any dark factors either. Let's follow them for now."

"*Fluttering*"

These two are another member they found inside of this world. A girl and also a flying object who is her little companion, they were founded at the sand in the middle of this desert after Cera spotted them on Sakura Zeimachi's back.

"Mumei-chaan~ Hurry over here~ It's hot over there~"

They're in the middle of discussing something about their choice to stay with them. Nanashi Mumei, the watcher and guardian of civilization and her little companion she called 'friend' who were in the middle of their own journey as she do her council duty.

Although they said to tag along with them, because Nanashi Mumei who doesn't know of where they're going and where they have come from, she put a small alertness in case they're spies from different side.

"Must you scream beside my ears?! Hurry and get off already!"

Nanashi Mumei walked to their side under the blazing scorch of the sun above this barren desert. Her friend floats beside her as she showed different shape of face to express its emotion.

"What? Its hot and my feet will be filled by sand~ Doesn't you care about woman's skin~?"

Both Cera and Sakura Zeimachi keep arguing as Nanashi Mumei walked to their side, Nanashi Mumei faced her friend with uncertainty as she saw them keep arguing, while her friend do the same expression as her.

"Hm Hm Hm~ ? What's wrong Mumu? You want to built sand castle?"

"...Mumu? Umm, if you play with that hot sand, you'll burn your hand."

Nanashi Mumei decided to approach Hylia who still squatting to touch the sand. It's not like Hylia didn't understand what hot and what cold, or she ruined her common sense, she touches the sand beneath her feet because she have found a metal which piqued her interest.

"What is this metal? Do you know this Mumu? There's more so hold this!"

"O-Okay?"

Hylia showed Nanashi Mumei a round shape of metal with a broken piece of it still being recovered by Hylia. When they assemble that piece the round shaped metal become more recognizable for them to guess even without knowing its true form.

"A shield?"

"Hum, its more like a shoulder guard, if I put it here...Yes, its more like an arm guard."

They assembled piece by piece and that round shape of metal formed into somekind of weapon or auxiliary, Hylia used the sand to hide the cracks and some broken part she can't found to fill its shape.

"I never see this mark anywhere. It's already broken, damaged from burried in here or thrown by the owner. If you didn't find the other pieces it'll just be a lump of metal."

"...There's a little of Zei's essence."

"His essence?"

"Hmm. Let's go Mumu, asking to him will be faster. Don't worry, Zei is not a bad person. He's a trash like me."

"...Yes?"

Nanashi Mumei can't catch up with the topic of their discussion, but she followed Hylia along with that arm guard in her hands. She trotted with Hylia and her little friend beside her until they can hear Cera and Sakura Zeimachi's argument clearly than before.

"By the way, aren't you the reason we're brought into this place? Why should I care to whatever happen at you huh?!"

"And aren't you the one who put that ice cream on my mouth?! That's why you can't hear me! You even drag Lia into this mess!"

"Hah?! Spout every little nonsense you have there, but do you think you can lie at me?! You were not even saying anything except dragging my shirt! Don't even bring Hylia into this mess, because you let her into this mess!"

"No Zei its you!"

"Say what?! Clearly its you!"

Their argument keep getting heated and those who heard it like Nanashi Mumei also become more anxious as she has watched much more conflict born from humanity in her life. They argued at each other, until when they can't understand each other violence will take place.

"Ah..Umm...E-Excuse me..."

Nanashi Mumei tried to jump into their argument to serve as mediator so there'll be no bloodbath created from their small conflict. Her little friend also approached Hylia to ask for help, but Hylia only patted its head with a bright smile from her face.

"shhh...don't worry, Mumei will be fine."

"*Fluttering*"

Those two who have heard her voice in the middle of their banter, face her at the same time, with Cera still being carried on his back and Sakura Zeimachi holding their parasol.

"..."

'As planned.'

"..."

'You don't have to told me.'

The two awaits for her to converse with some plan inside of their mind.

"Why don't we talked to each other? I mean don't you two are pretty close already, we don't need to..to I don't know, fighting each other? Let's just be friendly to other people."

Nanashi Mumei spouted out her opinion to the two of them, both Cera and Sakura Zeimachi nodded to each other as she finished her talk. Meanwhile Hylia looking at Nanashi Mumei just like when she remembered something in the past.

"...Mumei-chan."

"Nanashi-san."

"Umm, yes."

The blazing hot sun become colder and colder until finally its light that blind any eyes when they tried to see them, slowly disappeared. Both Cera and Sakura Zeimachi looked up to meet some unknown being floating above them imposing threat to those who can see them.

"Mumei-chan, you told us this place is the house of many source of energy right? You also admit if you're the guardian of civilization, one of the concept created by humanity in this world."

Cera stepped down from Sakura Zeimachi's back and cover the sand under their feet with some kind of red aura she emitted. Since Sakura Zeimachi have been freed from a load of Cera, he cracked his back.

"From what I know, civilization of humanity would never be free from some kind of outer force. Trust me, I know it when it comes."

He does a little warm up as he conjured four feathers. Those feathers glows and turned into a big one, enough to be stepped by each of them. Hylia didn't doubt it for a second and stepped on it with her new found, while Sakura Zeimachi also do the same.

"Ohho~ To think you would serve a seat for me~ You really are soft to women aren't you?"

"Wait, you just rub that on my face, go without one."

He make the feather disappeared before Cera could step on it. Hylia already fly to wherever she wants with feather she picked, she fly high, spin, and sometime circle around them.

As for Nanashi Mumei, she can't quite comprehend what is going on in here. The sky have turned dark, the desert which is supposed to be hot, now have turned cold. Cera who used her power into the sand, and finally everything about their monologue.

"What, what is going on?"

Nanashi Mumei confusedly asked both of them, but what she see is the smile from Cera and a laughter from Sakura Zeimachi. Nanashi Mumei backed off with a dagger in her hand, her little friend showed a sad expression as it hide behind her back.

"Zei...You're scaring her."

"Then stop that smile, to make you understand Nanashi-san. We're not really aiming at you, I always like to strike those behind the screen."

He finished his warm-up and stop his laughter. Sakura Zeimachi flies to the air dragging along Nanashi Mumei on his feather because she didn't step on it. Nanashi Mumei herself can't escape his arm because of how fast and strong his grip at her arm. Although, he gripped her arm, it's more like he locked her arm using his grip so to not hurt her.

"Uwaaahh!?"

"I got all of them off ground, take care of what under the sand. I'll talk with the one above."

He flies high to meet the figure who is keep watching their move on the desert. Meanwhile Nanashi Mumei asked him about what's going on.

"Can you tell me what is going on? What's wrong with everything going on here?!"

There's an urge to push him down so she can hear the answer, but she can't else she want to fall from the feather.

"Simply put, you're a guardian. What's the job of guardian? To guard something. You're the guardian civilization, then why you're in this wasteland? To investigate? I highly doubt that. You said if the concept of civilization is almost forgotten, as the guardian of it, ofcourse you'll got some backlash as your sole existence fade."

"Can...can you explain it to be more basic?"

"...*Sigh* Which means, you're just too precious Nanashi-san. Even though humanity will perish, this world didn't let you die or disappeared. Instead you got sent here to who knows? Maybe find something to eat down there, because in the end humanity will win but not you."

"...More elementary?"

"...You met me, the others got awakened."

"Ohh...I see, I clearly understand that."

While the two of them are in the middle of their class, Cera at the ground starting to move. She spread her dark red aura to the sand and lifted it to the sky. As she unravel every nook from the sand, she can see what the thing Zeimachi's meant.

"Heyya young miss, time to wake up. Your body will crumble if you keep sleeping like that."

"...W...Who?"

The wasteland which have been empty from the sand, showed a lonely figure alone sleeping in solitude. After Cera called it to wake up, the figure show her face and her hair which is pretty stunning for someone who have been sleeping under sand.

"Green hair golden eyes and motherly charm, there's also horn on top of her head. Okay that's enough of ara-ara for today."

Cera showed a slight envy against the woman who was now looking at her.

"You're wrong ▀▀▀▀ You're clearly wrong!"

"...Are you the one who have awoken me young child?"

The woman stands and used her power to sprout some branch and roots beneath her, so she can lift herself up from that place. While Cera was waiting for her to arrive, the woman find a familiar figure above her with a man on their way to another being.

"Mumei-chan? What is she doing here?"

The woman have a surprised look on her face after she saw Nanashi Mumei with Sakura Zeimachi at the sky, but the surprise didn't stop at that. She also saw another acquaintance up there waiting in their direction.

"Oh...Looks like you got your memories intact, then its good. I'm Cera what's your name young miss?"

Cera who used her dark red aura to fly asked her, the woman she asked have a slight knit on her brows as she suspect if they're the one behind this scheme. Well, she's right.

"...Ceres Fauna."

Her name is Ceres Fauna, a woman with green hair and golden eyes. Now that she have finished her introduction, from her hand, appeared a golden apple which give forth a high level of life energy, and it shows from how fast plant and vegetation sprout in her area.

"Hoo~ So what Zei told me is right then, that guardian of Civilization is the storm point, from how she act so agitated and even putting up a fight."

Cera smiled as she looked at Ceres Fauna who tried to got the head start and passed over her. Although it's just plants and vegetation, once you got tangled by it, then you'll have to struggle your way to be free from it.

"Fyuuu...How scary~Well, like usual ▀▀▀▀ , I leave you to tell me about Zei's fight."

From her body, Cera let out her aura to flow on her back. The dark red aura moves as if its alive and took a shape of [REDACTED] showing its animosity.

...You mess with narration again?

"The me right now is not the me from tomorrow you know. Well, be at ease~ I don't have super growth effect like Emiya."

Cera who is prepared to fight, face Ceres Fauna or the one who is known as the keeper of Nature. The keeper of Nature is ready to move pass her in order to meet with Nanashi Mumei, and Cera the unknown being from different world.

How will their clash resulted? and who is the other figure waiting at the end of Sakura Zeimachi and Nanashi Mumei flying course? and more importanly....Where's Hylia?
