The Scandal- Chapter One

I never thought this day would come. As I packed up the last of my belongings, I wondered what life would be like in College. It was my last day at my boarding school, Cornwall Prep. As I was packed up, I walked next door to say my final goodbyes to my BFF, Courtney. Opening the adjacent door, i felt my heart crumbling onto the floor. My BFF of 10 years, was making out with my childhood sweetheart and boyfriend, Matt.

Tears running down my eyes, I ran out of the room, wishing that what I saw was just in my head. As I called my chauffeur, James, I could hear Matt chasing after me, crocodile tears running down his face. Quickly hustling all my bags together, I saw my limo pulling up at the school gates. Full of rage, i threw the now meaningless charm bracelet Matt had given me on our 1st anniversary. With the door now opening, I jumped inside the car, accidently hitting the door with my Versace Suitcase. I could hear Matt banging the door constantly, asking me to forget what i just saw. Courtney on the other hand, just stood there, pouting her lips and mimicking Matt.

''Are you ok, Chloe?'' James asked as I began to cry.

''No, I'm ok, I was just wanted to cut off any loose ends before my journey''.

I was so glad that I accepted the Scholarship. To think that i wanted to choose that Loser of a boyfriend over my scholarship. Sydney University was the goal ever since I was little, now it felt more of a reality. Finally, I could catch a break from all this LA drama...…..
