Chapter 6 - Night Out - Part 1

Gazing, I hummed as water came running down from window. Why? Why did all the bad things have to happen to me? Why wasn't I able to find happiness in this world. Everywhere I went, drama haunted me like a ghost, waiting for the right moment to strike. It was like the sadness inside of me fled uncontrollably. Thank god I had no lessons to go to for the rest of the week.

Earlier, when I went to the cafe to go and get some water, I saw people gawking at me and taking pictures of me. I was the trending hashtag on the campus. I saw my face on Snapchat ,Instagram, and even Tiktok! If only my mother didn't pass away, would this life be any simpler? Coming back to the room, I could see Zoe getting ready to go somewhere.

''Hey Chloe, lets go shopping!'' she exclaimed happily

''I think I'm going to have to pass this time Zoe, everywhere I go misery follows me and i don't want you to suffer because of my actions,its better off if I stayed and you went.''

''Noooo way I'm gonna have to go shopping without my bff, please, just this once? I heard that there was going to be a 25% of on Chanels' beauty line!!!''

''Ok, But only because your my bestie, and i do love a good sale from time to time!''

After ordering a cab, we shopped at all the great downtown stores. Chanel, Louis Vuitton, PrettyLittleThing and many more. Honestly, its been along time since I felt this alive, it was amazing. Tired out by all the shopping, we went to this famous bubble tea stand. Taking a sip from that cup made my taste-buds sing. It was like drinking tea from heaven. It was delicious!

We decided to come back to campus to drop our bags off so we could go clubbing. This was the chance that we would find a suitable boyfriend for Zoe, who had broken up with a guy in my class over a year ago. Drinking down my sorrows would be perfect!

Arriving at the club, my eyes twinkled with happiness. Being one of the most exclusive clubs in downtown Sydney, the Le Tres was the club where all the VIPs got together. As we walked in, we were escorted to the premium VIP area.

The guy who owns the place is my dads business partner, so as part of the deal, he allows my family free entry and drinks!

Cool, people in Sydney really know how to party.

Hours later, we became two drunk college students parting like crazy. Gulping down vodka like water. As my head began feeling like it was spinning, I could hear a familiar voice calling out my name and tapping on my shoulder. Picking me up, I could feel their soft hands holding me firmly. Kissing their face, my head was spinning like mad......
