Josie sat with her legs crossed next to her small garden, her sorted basket resting in her lap. She surveyed the rows of leaves and other plants that had been spared ravaging and wilting, thanks in most part to Molly's expertise. She put quite a few basil leaves away in their particular section and turned her attention to the nearby patch of thyme, but Rakesh was way ahead of her. The helpful wolf was nimbly tucking sprigs away before moving on to the mint plants.

"This definitely goes a lot smoother with you around." Josie remarked with a smirk. "And you've learned quickly. I'm sincerely impressed!"

"Just trying to make myself useful." Rakesh laughed, his voice a little rougher than he would have liked. He cleared his throat a few times before speaking. "Sorry. Someone's still fighting back a bit. He was calm for a bit there, but some good things don't tend to last."
