40. Ishq wala Love, of date nights n kisses

AN: okay… since you guys felt like it was too short, here I'm adding another chap. Lp is honestly one of my best works, best loved too… I value all ur reviews and encouragement so much.. so here's another chap respecting all the love you've given me n my story.

Ishu runs out of the main gate into the waiting arms of Dushyant. They share a tight hug, parting a little, he rests a hand over her head, ruffling the hair there.

Ishu smiles at him, equally reluctant to part with him.

Dushyant- "So, miss Walia, thank you for seeing me."

He beams. She laughs hearing him use her last name like in the early days.

Ishu- "You're so welcome, Mr. Dusht Danav Daku."

Dushyant- "Outch. Billi that hurts. I mean okay, it still sounds cute coming from you..."

Ishu- "Great, main kisi aur ko ye haq nahi denewali.."

they share a laugh.

Dushyant- "Ice cream khane chale?"

Ishu likes the idea but it's really late, so she is in a fix.

Ishu- "Ice cream, iss waqt?"

Dushyant- "I dint realize but I'm really hungry. So what do you say?"

Ishu- "nahi..." * shakes her head, frowning * "abhi papa aur sab uthe toh, main nahi aasakti baba."

Dushu releases her, stepping back disappointed.

Ishu- "But hum ice cream khaa sakte hai.."

Dushyant- "Hm?"

She grins, pulling him by the arm into the house. She sits him down on a bench. Hands on hips, she smiles proudly,

Ishu- "Just wait… I'll get you delicious home made ice cream.."

Dushyant laughs as he salutes her, "okay ji.."

He waits there for a few moments. The wind is slightly chilli, the soft golden glow from the lamps in the garden give it a slightly romantic feel…. He finds himself getting impatient in few moments.

Ishu- "TADA!"

Ishu announces herself, holding out a tray containing two huge bowls of chocolate ice cream.

Ishu- "tera favorite, yaad hai, school k baad kaise hum bakery mei ghus jaate the…"

He nods, smiling as he takes his bowl. She plops down beside him, her own bowl in hand, she's fiddling with the spoon, suddenly embarassed that their shoulders are touching-

Dushyant- "Here.."

she turns to him and he's holding out a spoon for her.

Dushyant- "For my sab-se-pyari billi… the love of my life."

She blushes as she accepts the scoop.

Dushyant- "your turn."

he grins wickedly enjoying the shy expression on her face…

she obeys his command and they finish the ice cream spoon-feeding each other.

The bowls are set aside. Ishu finds herself leaning against her side, sighing a little as she rubs her palms together.

Dushyant- "Are you cold?"

Ishu- "A little. I'm fine though."

He takes off his hoodie and wraps it around her shoulders. She frowns,

Ishu- "tumhe thand nahi lagegi?"

Dushyant- "I have a better idea to warm us up. Lets cuddle."

he waggles his eyebrows as he wraps his arm around her pulling her close.

Ishu- "Geez, do you need to spell it out?"

he laughs n they stay like that snuggling close to keep warm. Ishu's breathing eventually evens out and he turns to look at her face- he pokes her cheek.

Dushyant- "hey dont go sleeping on me… billi..."

But then she doesn't budge and is soon fast asleep.

The next day, Ishu when Ishu wakes up with a start, she's in her own bed in her room.

So, was it a dream then?

Sighing, she gets ready to leave for the bureau when she receives Dushu's text saying he'd be there to pick her up.

Dressed in her usual formal attire, she's waiting at the main gate of her house when Preet comes sauntering her way.

Preet- "Kiska wait karri ho di?" *smirks *

Ishu- "wo bhalu aanewala hai.."

Preet- "aww so going with your boyfriend huh?"

ishu slaps her on the back. Preet yelps playfully but continues to tease her elder sister.

Preet- "jiju kitne sweet hai na… I'm so jealous dii.. how boring, kash mera bhi boyfriend hota!"

this time Preet earns a smack on her head.

Ishu- "pyar koi cheez nahi, aur naa hi boyfriend… aur ye boyfriend ka kya chakkar hai, padhai pe dhyan de… doctor nai banna tujhe?"

Preet- "Sheesh, I was joking di… you know na, these books are my boyfriends!" Preet winks and walks away to her Dad's car and takes a seat. Thankfully, before her father arrives n tease her more, Dushu is there to pick Ishu up.

Ishu- "You're late! now hurry!"

Dushyant- "Hey!"

Dushu is slightly bewildered as she hops onto his bike, putting a hand on his shoulder..

Dushyant- "Kya horaha hai, subah subah..."

Ishu- "move… bhaalu.. let's just get out of here!"

Dushyant- "jaisi aapki aagya maharani!"

the engine revs n soon the duo are on the roads, their motorcycle zooming past countless others.

Dushyant- "kya hua billi? Sab thik?"

Ishu- "Sab thik! Bach gaye, warna papa bhi tease karte mujhe..."

he laughs, figuring out what could be behind the teasing. She hits him on the back.

Ishu- "Don't laugh ye sab tumari waje se horaha hai!"

he turns to look at her over his back, but she twists his face

Ishu- "road ko dekho..."

n then she leans forward resting her head on his back, hugging him from behind. One of his hands comes to rest on hers that are wrapped around his waist.

The ensuing silence is anything but comfortable.

They soon reach the bureau where he parks his bike.

She sits on a raised platform nearby, stifling a yawn…

Dushyant- "hey bureau nai jaana kya?"

Ishu- "I feel so sleepy… aisa lagta hai soyi hi nai main.." *yawns *

Dushyant- "excuse me! You fell asleep on me! And I was the one who carried you to your room… abhi desk k paas bhi leke jana hai kya?"

she jumps to stand at once.

Ishu- "woh sapna nahi tha?"

he laughs playfully.

Dushyant- "tumhe laga sapna hai..."

Ishu- "sab kuch sapna jaisa hi toh lagraha hai..."

she smiles at him, he returns it with as much affection as hers.

Ishu- "I love you so much, bhaalu."

he cups her cheek tenderly.

Dushyant- "i love you too..."

and she hugs him. The duo stand there locked in embrace until a shrill voice causes them to jump apart.

KV- "bhai ye parking lot hai!"

KV walks in, a naugty smile on his face. Just a step behind him are Abhijeet, Daya and Freddy, teasing smiles on their faces.

Abhijeet- "kya horaha hai bhai subah subah?"

Daya- "haan, suna tha kal ka din kuch zyada hiacha gaya tumhareliye, kyu Dushyant?"

Abhijeet- "Aur Ishita tum? Tum dono hi chupa rustum nikle.. kya baat hai.."

Dushyant- "Sir… aap.. please.."

both ishyant turn beet red and duo laugh in delight.

Daya- "chalo bhai aaj k liye baksh dia. Waise congratulations you two… not that we're surprised."

Freddy- "haan hum logo ko pehle se pata tha ki tum ek dusre pe lattoo hogaye ho… hahaha"

Dushyant- "Freddy sir aap bhi na…. Thank you Abhijeet sir.. daya Sir.."

Duo clap dushyant on his back. Ishu gives them a shy smile. Just then a booming voice can be heard-

ACP sir- "Sab log parking lot me kya karre ho!"

Abhijeet- "are baap re raavan aagaye yar!"

Acp sir- "Kya kaha?"

ACP sir stands there with a frown. Everyone scrambles on to the stairs rushing upstairs… "kuch nai sir!"

12 PM

It's almost lunch time. No case, so everyone is relaxed. Dushu is stealing glances at Ishu when there's a tap on his shoulder-

Dushyant- "Kya yar!"

KV- "yar tu na control karle bhai. Ye bureau hai you know..."

Dushu is slightly taken aback but he glares at KV.

KV- "shaant mere bhai! Waise tu kab se Ishita ko ghoore jaraha hai, everyone must be noticing."

Dushu dips his head into the file, suddenly shy… was he being so…. Out of control, really?

KV laughs, pleased with himself as he moves to his desk.

Dushyant- "I wish aaj koi case na aaye… aur mujhe uske saat kaam na karna pade..."

but the same happens. There's a case and ACP sir orders Dushyant and Ishu to go together. Pankaj is with them but that doesn't help much.

To make matters worse, Dushu has to go to a nightclub, undercover, his partners in crime being Ishu and KV. KV of all people… what a lonng night it will be!

that night 9PM

Dushyant is in Saiyonara Night club, dressed in black shirt and black trousers, a black fox mask covers most of his nose and areas around his eyes. His smile is ever charming as he loiters by the drinks arena, waiting for his partner to show up. The night club is already full of dancing couples… KV, that fox, had suggested he be partners with Ishu. Well, he'd have murdered the brat if otherwise.. but still, this felt much like a date night… but he never wanted it to be when they were investigating a case!

Just then his gaze flits around the room and his eyes land on the most gorgeous lady arriving through the pub's doors. Dressed in glittery knee-length black dress, cute pink butterfly mask, she took his breath away… she smiles at him noticing as he moves towards her. The mask could never be a hindrance to their love.

He smiles widely at her offering his hand.

Dushyant- "you're beautiful."

Ishu is shu but she takes his hand. She returns the smile….

Ishu- "thank you."

she still can't say it aloud that he's equally dashing. The music gets louder. And she finds herself entranced in the night's spell…

Dushyant- "Shall we, my lady?" * smiles playfully * "we're early either ways."

She laughs nervously but accepts the offer. Soon they're dancing, her hands resting on his shoulders, his around her waist, eyes locked-

Dushyant- "too bad. We're here for a case."

he whispers in her ear causing her to shiver a little.

Dushyant- "billi…"

he tugs her closer and now she's pressed up against him a little breathless as she is.

Dushyant- "I love you."

Ishu- "I love you too…."

she casts her eyes down, suddenly embarassed. But he lifts her chin up so she's now gazing at him again.

Dushyant- "you know… just when you walked in… I think I fell in love with you again. You were gorgeous."

She laughs.. suddenly feeling the urge to tell him her honest feelings as well. They continue to sway to the music like all other couples for a while.

Ishu- "you… you're my handsome teddy bear."

he laughs as he takes her hand in his. He twirls her around once before holding her close again

Ishu- "lady killer, I wont let you dance with anyone else."

Dushyant- "I won't." * laughs *

the song slows down, once again Ishu finds herself leaning into him…

Dushyant- "say you love me."

Ishu- "ahaha! Kya hogaya tujhe..."

Dushyant- "say it..."

Ishu- "I love you."

Dushyant- "Again..."

Ishu- "Bhalu.." *shy *

Dushyant- "Say it.."

Ishu- "I love you..."

Dushyant- "again"

Ishu- "I… love… you…. Ab khush?"

she laughs at him, he twirls her around, she has a little trouble balancing on her heels. When he holds her tight, she's grateful for that…

Dushyant- "bohot khush..." * laughs *

he answers her earlier question along with a new command.

Dushyant- 'now kiss me." * killer wali smile *

her jaw drops… she can't believe seeing this naughty side of him…

but she relents kissing him on the cheek…

some odd sound can be heard in her earpiece but she ignores it. Dushu pouts…

Dushyant- "ye toh hum bachpan se karte aaye hai… ab wo..."

he points her hand towards a couple in a corner engaged in a liplock?! :O

(AN: naughty.. naughty Dushu… haha loving him, are you?)

Her cheeks flush and her jaw drops once more…

she hits him playfully..

Ishu- "stop teasing me."

Dushyant- "I'm not..." * smiles cutely leaning his face towards hers *

her heart starts pounding wildly but she manages to put a finger on his lips before he could get too close.

Ishu- "stop! Lets wait for the right moment..."

he sighs, pulling away…. The groaning in his ear-piece gets louder… what? :/

KV- "You know guys… I'm trying to hold it in.. but ab bohot hua.. tum logo ko yaad bhi hai ki main yaha hu? Huh? Aur hum investigation k liye aye hai… and humare earpieces bluetooth se connected hai?!"

Ishu wants to crawl into a hole, Dushu seems equally embarrassed but he manages to mumble a sorry…

Dushyant- "sorry yar..."

KV- "I'll get back at you buddy. Wayto go n make a bachelor jealous….!"

Dushyant- "really yar… I'm….." *scratches his head *

What was he doing! Oh god…!

KV- "It's fine… haha. I'm honestly happy for you two..

"

Ishyant exchange smiles…

KV- "lets focus on mission now.."

Ishyant- "yeah!"

and jus like that the officers are on duty mode again…

Ishu keeps avoiding him for a day….

but suddenly she is on tiptoes placing a soft kiss on his lips!? :O What? What?! How… ?!
