Inside the system space, Kaito Haruno watched three spinning wheels, each marked with various symbols, and felt a rush of excitement. If all three symbols landed on the same one, it meant he had won a reward. Having always considered himself lucky, Kaito was now on edge. What if he ended up with useless items? He would still have to complete the tasks assigned by the system, which would be a death sentence.
As the wheels began to slow down, three different symbols appeared before him. Kaito realized he had wasted another chance at the lottery.
"First lottery draw failed. Would you like to continue, host?" The system's voice was emotionless, offering a reminder.
"Continue!" Kaito gritted his teeth and pressed on.
"Second lottery draw failed. Would you like to continue, host?" The same monotonous voice prompted again.
"Continue!"
"Third lottery draw failed. Would you like to continue, host?"
"Continue!"
"Fourth lottery draw failed."
"Continue!"
After five consecutive failures, Kaito was starting to lose it. There was no way his luck could be this bad. However, he had no choice but to keep drawing. He really didn't want to die so soon in this world.
"Congratulations, host. You have received the Spider Phone Gaia Memory!" Finally, on the sixth draw, Kaito saw a uniform spider symbol across the wheels, and he nearly collapsed from relief.
This Gaia Memory was an item used by the Kamen Riders and monsters in *Kamen Rider W* for transformation. Not only could it assist in transforming, but it could also be applied to other items. Although this Spider Phone Gaia Memory would only offer support, it didn't mean he couldn't implant it into himself and become a spider monster if he got angry enough.
"Would you like to continue drawing, host?" After the sixth draw, the system inquired again.
"Isn't that obvious? How can I turn things around if I don't keep going?"
Perhaps Kaito's bad luck had been exhausted in the first five draws, as the next four brought him one surprise after another. "Congratulations, host. You have received G3 Armor. Congratulations, host. You have received the TAKA Canned Memory. Congratulations, host. You have received the Showa Rider Enhanced Physique. Congratulations, host. You have received the training method for the Three-color Haki from *One Piece*!"
When he heard the final announcement after his last draw, Kaito froze for a few seconds. After confirming that nothing was wrong with the lottery wheels, he suddenly felt confused. The Showa Rider Enhanced Physique made sense, considering the Showa Riders were a bunch of tough fighters who loved brawling, but he couldn't quite grasp the relevance of the training method for the Three-color Haki. While he knew the system included various cultivation systems from other worlds, he felt something was off about mixing a Kamen Rider with the Three-color Haki from a pirate world.
"Uh, system, are you joking about that last reward?" Kaito asked tentatively.
"No, that is indeed the Three-color Haki training method you've obtained. It will enter your brain through mental sharing."
"But the thing is, you're a Kamen Rider system! Aren't you supposed to provide me with transformations for the Heisei series Riders? What's with *One Piece*? Even if you've included cultivation systems from other worlds, I should be able to use them!" Kaito could no longer hold back his frustrations. Being inexplicably transported here was one thing, but now even the system was acting strangely.
"Host, I've mentioned before that the Rider system not only includes information on all Heisei series Riders but also accommodates some cultivation systems from other worlds. You can't blame me for what you drew." It was clear that the system was indifferent to Kaito's complaints about the Three-color Haki. Feeling helpless, Kaito sighed. His life was already given to him by the system; what else could he say? Then he suddenly had an idea and asked, "Do you have any training methods for ninjutsu, Kido, or Bakudo?"
"Are you referring to this?" The system generated a few images in the space, making Kaito incredibly excited. *Damn, this system is so versatile! How can you still call yourself a Rider system? Who are you trying to fool? Your Rider system even includes the cultivation methods from three major popular manga?!*
Kaito could no longer control his urge to rant. Forget everything else; if he mastered all the Kido from the *Bleach* series, he felt he could take down Superman. After all, everyone knows Superman from Krypton has zero evasion and zero magic resistance, making him a prime target. A single Bakudo number fifty-six would probably make Superman kneel and call him "Daddy." Just then, the system seemed to pick up on Kaito's thoughts and mocked him directly.
"I believe you shouldn't be thinking about learning these things to turn your fate around in the DC world."
"Why not?"
"Do you have chakra? Do you have the bloodline of a Soul Reaper or a Quinx?"
The system's simple sarcasm left Kaito speechless. "Host, these three major cultivation systems are indeed OP, but in these three worlds, only the Three-color Haki from *One Piece* is the least reliant on bloodlines. You should feel lucky that before you unlocked the Riders, you had this Three-color Haki training method as a foundation."
"Unlock Riders? Please tell me the points required to unlock these Riders." Kaito was persuaded by the system's explanation, but he still wanted to know how many points he needed to unlock a Heisei Rider. Without further ado, the system directly listed the points for all the Heisei series Riders, and Kaito exploded.
"Hey! System, are you kidding me? The points for Kuuga and Agito are one hundred million! Are you telling me to just die?" Looking at the points for the main Riders, Kaito was completely disoriented. For the twenty main Riders, those priced at 555 points were considered cheap—500,000 points for the unlock, while the rest started at millions of points! The most expensive were the Kamen Riders Gaim who ate the Golden Fruit and Eiji, the one-handed Exterminator from Kamen Rider Build. These two were both priced at ten billion points!
Kaito suddenly felt that swallowing a gun to commit suicide might be a more practical option; how long would it take to unlock these two Riders?
"Host, you must understand, Kuuga and Agito don't require any tools; all they need is a belt to evolve from their base forms to their final forms. One hundred million points for them seems reasonable, right? Moreover, Heisei series Riders have a lot of developmental potential in their inherent abilities. The points will not cheat the host. All you need to do is complete the tasks I assign to unlock these Riders."
*Damn! #@!%*, Kaito managed to hold back a torrent of expletives. He had to submit; under the eaves, one must bow their head. Kaito knew he had no room to resist and reluctantly agreed. Although the points seemed massive, at least he now had enough to protect himself. With the enhanced physique, Kamen Rider G3 armor, and the Three-color Haki training method, he had secured some breathing space in this chaotic DC world.
"Since the lottery is over, please adapt to your life in this world quickly. In fifteen days, your first mission will begin. Good luck, host."
After the system finished speaking, it went silent. Kaito felt his body rapidly retreating. When he opened his eyes again, he found himself still in the restroom, the surroundings unchanged. In his mind, he had gained some new knowledge about the Three-color Haki training methods. In his hand, he now held a red metal can and a black USB stick marked with an S— the TAKA can and the Spider Memory.
"It seems this isn't a dream after all," Kaito thought, looking at these two items that had appeared on screen before. He realized that everything he experienced in those brief minutes was real.
He had been inexplicably transported, without any explanation, and he still didn't understand why he was chosen by this Rider system. "Well, since I'm here, I might as well get used to it. I need to figure out how to use this G3 armor quickly." With that, he clipped the TAKA can to his belt and prepared to open the restroom door to return to his classroom.
But Kaito forgot that the system had given him the physique of a Showa Rider. Just a gentle push on the restroom door sent it flying off its hinges.
"Ha, I forgot about that. Whatever, class is more important." He mumbled and tiptoed toward his classroom.
