Chapter 46

Joon: 2.23.16

I held her hand and made our way to the podium, I gave the hostess my name and they gave us the wait time of ten minutes. We stood there, looking at the scenery until I felt her hand bump into mine. At first I thought she wanted me to hold her hand but when I looked at her face she was looking all around her. When it happened again her hand lingered close to mine before she popped her knuckles together.

Our hands bumped again so I grabbed hers and interlocked our fingers.

“Who told you to hold my hand?” She asked. I tensed and looked down at her, she had a playful grimace so I rolled my eyes and gave it a squeeze.

"Reservation for Kim." We looked over and saw the hostess with two menus, we followed and got seated. It didn't take the waiter long to take our drink order and come back for our orders. We shared stories about work and our dumb friends, I still had the feeling that she was distant with me so I waved a waiter over and order wine to loosen her up.
