'Oh, isn't that just great?' I thought. Isekai animes are getting boring and old. Harem? Annoying. Getting Isekai'd in a another world? Just a fantasy.

I lay on my bed and looked at the ceiling, I didn't know what to do in my life.. nothing is ever new to me. I study, go to school, then study then watch anime. I eat, breath, and drink. I wanted something more... It's a selfish request but..

"Huh?" I took my phone and my eyes lit up 'Eva! ' I answered the phone, "Hello!" I said with a hint of excitement.

Me and Eva talked a lot and we didn't even notice it was already midnight, we decided to go shopping tomorrow. We said bye to each other.

My time of loneliness is back. Eva... I love her so much..

The next day, I waited for Eva to pick me up. It was summer break today so meh.

We first went to eat, then bought clothes, then we ate ice cream for dessert. It was already night.. time flies so fast when I'm with her... It's like the world doesn't like Eva being with me.. "Can we go to the bookstore before we go?" I asked, Eva nodded.. we talked and walked until we reached the bookstore, while I was searching for books, Eva waited outside texting her boyfriend... Lucky jerk... I scoffed and rolled my eyes. While I was searching, one eventually caught my eyes 'The 7 Stars and The 7 Gram'... The heck does that mean? I looked at the back of the book for more info 'A world where destruction only happens once a year. Once the Ripple of Annihilation hits, monsters will grow stronger and put destruction to the world and k–' blah blah blah blah I don't wanna read that anymore, but I'm still buying this book. It only caught my interest because of the book cover. I bought it... Sadly... Though the way they wrote the summary... Suck.. no offense.

Once I purchased the book, I went outside and saw that Eva was looking through her gallery. "Watcha doing?"... Watcha doing? Am I serious right now? I literally see what she's doing, "Trying to find the qr I saved.", "Don't worry, I still have the image saved in my phone! I'll send it to you quickly" I said as I saw Eva softy smile, then whispered something but I didn't hear it. Sadly

"If only you were a guy, Konoha-san... Loving you wouldn't be a sin at all..."

"And send! Check your dm!" Eva checked her dm, "Huh? What's wrong, Eva? Why are you frowning? Is it the wrong qr..?" I asked with a worried tone. Once I asked that question, Eva lit up again "Nope! It's the correct one! Sorry for worrying you! Just had something in mind." Eva gave me a reassuring smile, in which I smiled back.

"Let's walk home together?" I asked and Eva shook her head in response, "No, I have a date tonight." She said awkwardly...

"Okay... I'll go now... Stay safe!.." I told her as I walked away... Gosh..

I decided to take the alley way since it's my shortcut going home, I held my book and noticed there was a ruby on the cover... Did I see this before..?? Or nah? Whatever, I guess it's supposed to make it look better... Though, that ruby looks too real.. Way was the price only 150 yen? Oh well.

As I was walking, I noticed something in the dark, I tried my best to avoid it but "Another one!" The one in black yelled, my eyes widen in fear as I saw a odd looking dagger in his hands.

I turned away and attempted to run.. I was too scared to scream that all I can think about is run and make it out at least alive.. I feel the man dashed towards me from behind, I decided to look behind... Risky move.

He was close.. then.

I feel a sharp pain in my back... He managed to stab me... I fell down as I started to bleed out. The stab was so.. deep... The book was laying next to me.

It hurts... It really hurts... I don't wanna die... Please.. I wanna grow up and have a healthy life... I don't wanna end it like this.. my eyes swells up with tears...

As my vision was about to fade completely, I noticed the ruby on the book glowed red. It was bright. But I didn't think much of it.. because.. a dim light was already brighter than my future.

'huh?..' I thought, I heard a baby crying.. who's that baby?.. no... It's me... I'm crying.. this doesn't make sense... I attempted to open my eyes but it was too heavy then I attempted again. My eyes opened as I see a beautiful looking woman with purple hair and eyes cradling me. I saw happy tears swelling up in her eyes... "Ahh... She's so beautiful.. my baby girl..!" What the...

"HOW IS SHE?!!" I heard a door slam open and I deep voice. It was approaching, he showed up in view. "... She... She looks just like her mother..." I also saw happy tears swelling up his eyes...
