CHAPTER TWO Valley of sorrow

When they arrived at the entrance of the valley of sorrow, Philip halted everyone as per pronce James command, everyone immediately brought out a bunch of cotton wools from their bags and pockets and covered their ears with it, this is to make sure that they won't hear a sound while in the valley of sorrow.

Prince James and his soldiers where warriors who have fought and killed in battles but everyone of them are scared of the valley of sorrow, the valley of sorrow is a very deadly place, you might run mad after visiting the valley of sorrow by this time of the year when the moon is full, the screams and wailing alwayyebds up hunting your dreams, and their is no way to cure it, only those with strong minds can over come this.

Prince James havw alot of faith in his men but he also prays they don't encounter any mishaps.

Philip signaled everyone to keep quiet and focused and no one is to make eye contact with the dead or even talk in the when they get into the valley.

When they got into the forest it was already dark, but every where was light in the valley cause the dead where having a feast, they have a feast in every full moon and today is a full moon.

The dead noticed that people where passing through their valley, but they didn't mind cause they felt they where one of them as, they didn't make any sound.

Everyone was nervous and on their toes, even the horses where as quiet as their masters, moving steadily without neighing, Paul was in the carriage that carried the king's birthday gifts, and he has already peed on his self. He was shaking nervously inside the carriage.

Two days after they went into the valley, paul got I'll from the fear and hunger, no one was allowed to eat or even drink, the last two days was hell for some of the soldiers, cause they saw their loved ones and spirits they knew, but couldn't talk or get close to them.

They where five miles away from the entrance. Just five miles to go, Philip saw his late wife and daughter. Tears roll down his cheeks when he saw them, he really wants Ed to go to them, to hug and asked them what truly happened to them. His wife and daughter's spirit kept looking at him and he looked at them but didn't say a word, he really wanted to hug his wife and daughter, he kept weeping silently while moving slowly past them.

Philip was on the battle field when he received the news of his family demise. It came as a shock to him, his wife and daughter where perfectly in good health when he left for the battle three years ago, only two months into the battle he got the news of their demise. Prince James was kind enough to let his subordinate go back and bury his dead.

When Philip got to the capital,he was told that his wife and daughter died in a fire incident, his whole building was burnt down, he lost everything that day. His mother and elder brother told him his wife left a candle on close to the bed and it fell down and burnt the house, he did not believe his mother and brother back then, cause he knew his wife was not so careless to leave the candle close to the bed. He suspected that his family was killed by someone.

Prince James noticed the demeanor of his knight and moved over to console himby Patti g his back and giving hima reassuring smile.

All of a sudden their was a commotion and a loud wail. And then all the spirit around started crying and wailing, the valley became instantly cold and foggy, their where loud screech and wails, the cold was too much that everyone started shivering.

The soldiers heard the faint cries because of the cotton wool on their ears, but they where cold and started shivering. Philip turned to cheek who might have disobeyed the prince's order and put the troop in danger. It turned out to be a young lad, who saw his mother among the dead, he wasn't aware of her dead cause he wasn't around when she died and no one sent a message to him and so he was confused and thought maybe she was his mother and that she came to wcpme him home,but when he got close to her, she started crying and ther spirites joined her cry and
