SOONER OR LATER (Ch. 13)

Raven throws himself to the side narrowly avoiding an out swung arm, a big fair skinned guy with a black sleeveless jacket hood covering his face and frame on tilts his shrouded face almost in shock but quickly resumes his assault Raven throws himself aside again knowing the outcome of getting caught, catching a glance at his assailants back he picks the words

'CERBERUS' and numbers six, six, six from his jacket,

"hey!" A familiar voice shouts Yanick who'd left him on the bench to get a drink trows it at the assailant who smacks away while in mid air. Raven quickly lunges getting a punch into his member causing the guy to bend groaning lightly, Yanick follows up by crashing his knee against the assailants face before following up with a spin kick sending him unconscious.

Raven seated in his chair, stares ahead blankly, frantically trying to reach Silver who chooses to ignore him,

(what the hell happened yesterday?, who was that guy?...have they started coming for me? Do i have to go into hiding?)

{what you should do is shutup!} silver states

(Finally!)

{I'll make this quick, start training or the next person that comes for your head will have it!}

(Silver wait..silver?...silver!...i need you to explain what happened yesterday for me....silver? Silver! Fuck!), Raven had the drugs on hand but had been putting off the transformation for two days now.

"Hey Raven...that fat friend of yours can you tell me where he lives?"

"Hm him? Yh why?"

"Excuse me" Interrupting the two Ari steps forward the bruises on her face barely covered by her thick make-up, the sounds of the surrounding students exclamations ring across the class

"Ari hey" Raven replies

Jay shifts from his restive position to take a look at her, (she still wags her tail at him after everything?)

"Jay i bought this for you, it's a handkerchief....i broke up with him... thank you for yesterday" Ari blushes as she says

(This crazy bitch! Maya's watching!)

"Uhg um yesterday?...did we meet?..." Jay inquires with a flustered expression while glaring

"Oh it was meant to be our secret" Ari smiles in reply

(Forget the red head, i'm gonna murder her first!!)

The school-day flies by, while Ari makes her way out of the school grounds. Her thoughts roaming as she finds herself smiling belatedly at her endeavours at teasing Jay through the day,

(As i thought. Jay really likes Maya)

"Excuse me. Ari park?"

"Huh? Who're you?"

"Calm down i'm here to scout you for a...'job'" Ari watches the strange handsome man in black shades and tattoo covered arms with caution.

"Hey Jimmy, i heard you've got a good plug for second hand sneakers, i can't get the Dorian air one special edition sneaker myself, find one if you can please",

(At least that's what he said. But i know him well enough to know that's just for show....he gave me an order, i need to hurry up but how do i get it with the money he gave me?, It's not even up to half!, That fucking asshole!… Let me try pleading with the seller first), the hours tick but and Jimmy finds himself lost.

"I've tried everything i've even added my own money in... it's just not enough...what do i need to do!" panicked, Jimmy paces about his room contemplating intensively

(Let me try one more time) searching up another seller he inquires about the sneakers before pleading desperately.

"He has it!...he agreed!.....but by courier? No way i bought a camera and got a brick in the delivery",

(I'll have to go myself, but he's asking to speak on chaters?)

Taking a look at the chaters profile picture he sees the picture of an attractive blond girl with brown eyes,

"Oh it's a girl!, She's hot too",

(i might have to thank that asshole instead)

Jay looks up toward jimmy from his restive position,

"Your going where? You don't have to do that"

"Don't worry it's my job to check if the product is real or fake" Jimmy replies passionately while sporting a lecherous smile,

"trust me it's no big deal" he reiterates

Jay looks up at him quizzically… "sorry about this man, and thanks again"

(He thinks he owes me one and i get to go on a date with a girl, two birds, one stone)

Jimmy arrives home immediately getting to work, first changing into more appealing attire before quickly making his way out of the house to arrive at his destination in good time, arriving a few minutes before the agreed meetup time he makes his way to the area designated.

(I'm perfect today, shoulder pads, hip pads, sole insoles, i almost feel like iron Man)

Taking a look at his phone he sees the girl's reply,

"She really is an angel", (she even agreed to meet halfway because of distance)

"Excuse me" hearing a feminine voice Jimmy turns to see a good-looking blonde girl with brown eyes

(She came!, Wow she's even better in real life…)

"He..hey, we c...can go check the sneakers at a nearby coffee sho..."

Jimmy feeling an ominous presence looks to his sides to see two huge teenagers flanking him, the left wrapping his arm around his neck points forward,

"Look forward and smile" hs deep baritone voice resounds

"If you try to signal for help with your eyes you die, you try to open your mouth you die, You try running or shouting you die!, Understood?"

"Y...ye...." Jimmy's eyes go wide from the impact as he struggles not to gasp

"Understood?" Nodding in reply the three lead him into a secluded alley just around the corner where a teen with brown dyed hair of average height sporting a bandanna crouched awaiting their return,

"Wallet" hus voice calls out, Jimmy complies

(I'm so fucking dead!) he thinks as he looks pleadingly to the girl, noticing his eyes she shakes her head turning away

"Look you weren't talking to me they just used my photo, and you should stop using my photo for scams it's getting irritating..you.."

"Okay it's exactly five thousand credits..." A brown haired teen states while ignoring her, looking towards Jimmy who squirms he smirks

"it would've been easier if you'd just deposited the money, you put me through a lot of stress, it's funny you know, idiots like you are all over the internet, they see a cute girl and they turn and it amplifies their stupidity" he states not bothering to hide his disdain

"Just stop using my pictures!, it could get dangerous"

"Relax babe" the brown haired teen replies looking at his hefty companion

"You know what happens if you report us right? I've taken a look at your personal info" the burly one speaks up

The group begin to depart but Jimmy's fear of them was way less than he had for jay,

(something!, i need to do something!)

"Wai...wait...cou...could...you..let..th...this ..go ..just once?..you see

..it... it's not m....my....money"

The boys burst into laughter.

"Boys"

Jay and Raven stare at Jimmy's bandaged face quizzically

"They stole everything?" Jay asks,

(I'm going to be hit again...i don't even have the money to pay him back!)

"You must have been scared, i should've gone there, it's my fault, we'll just have to find the guys first"

"What's going on?" Ari inquires after getting debriefed she asks Jimmy about the detail of the scam account

"That's it! There still running scams" Jimmy shouts

"A girl's the profile picture?" Jay murmurs, "ah i see what happened" he states glaring at Jimmy who laughs nervously in response

"Contact them on buying fairly used sneakers" Ari states

"I'll do it from my phone" jay replie, (been a while since i got to crack some skulls)

"Let's move, Rave you coming?"

"Sure", (Rave? When did that start?).

The two walk out the class bumping into a curious Yanick in the hallway, after getting the gist of the story he decides to tag along

"Konan"

"I know" the big eared teen replies while walking away, ( i shouldn't have to worry if it's those three)

James watches the three walk away from the end of the hallway.

The three arrive at their destination in good time

"Lets wait, i want a drink, Jay you buy" Yanick states

"No why? You buy!"

"I'll get it" Raven interjects,

After waiting a good deal of time the three exit the restaurant bumbing into Ari, Jimmy and Maya what are you three doing here?

Jimmy notices a silhouette running at them but is unable to warn Jay who gets rushed with a kick to the jaw before he can react, while dazed another kick leaves Jay staggered

"So you brought this weakling to avenge you?" The brown haired scammer inquires before sending another kick towards jay who puts up a weak block in defense while still very much stunned, walking away with his group in tow he Snickers at the two before eyeing Maya and Ari lewdly,

"Jay!" The girls shout in unison as he struggles to his feet, Jay now on his feet urges the guy's to tag along before having Maya and co stay back, stepping into the alley way Jay, sporting a bruised chin confronts the group

"Hey! Mopstick!" He roars towards the shaggy haired brown haired teen

"Came to get your ass kicked again?"

Yanick steps forward but Jay holds him back

"He's mine!, All three of you... come at me"

"The tallest kicks at jays head but he ducks before retaliating with a heavy punch to his knee, leaning into the teen he closes him out as his balancing leg is forced back forcing him to tumble before using another punch to send him unconscious, without reprieve the second lunges at Jay who rolls away from the attacks using the narrow alley to his advantage, the two proceed to attack in tandum before a quick jab to the nose forces the first to pause momentarily using the pause he ducks under the out swung leg of the brown haired kid before smashing his fist into his knee cap, the burly teen recovers quickly forcing Jay on the defensive leaving him winded the burly assailant swipes at him but a fist from the right sleeps him, a tired jay turns sharply to see Yanick by his side,

"You're done!" the brown haired teen roars lunging at Jay who feigns right slow enough to catch the boy's attention before an explosive burst of speed and an uppercut rocks the teen a couple of feet back, panting heavily as the teen drops barely conscious, the brown haired teen staggers trying to find foot but an uncharacteristic kick from Jay drops him unconscious, the blonde haired girl rushes up to him shouting while ge lays with his face bruised and unconscious.

"We found them!"

The burly teen smiles at the call of his companions before looking towards Raven and co with a triumphant smile

"your done"

Putting a hand on Jay's shoulder in comfort Yanick steps forward,

"You should rest you've done well", he says pulling his jacket off

"i'll take care of thing's from here" he states staring down over a dozen guys

"Look at those tattoos Is he a gangster?.." inquires one of the boys in a mocking voice

"He has a mustache too, what a funny looking son of a bitch" the group members speak up staring him down as they slowly spread to flank him..

(Seventeen... eighteen guys?...piece of cake)

the roars of raging bikes drawing near calls to the attention of all present

"What's this? How can we let the Boss move first?" Konan states arriving with a few if the crew members,

"rest up boss we'll handle this"

The burly teen's eyes contract when an infinity logo behind the white initials comes into view

(Wait he's the leader. The group of first years that took over central area!)

The boys get to work while Yanick watches intently

"You're only doing this to prove your point, how'd you know i was here?"

"The boy's are simply protecting their leader, it's that simple, and i found you through the power of friendship" Konan replies sarcastically, (i installed a tracker on your phone my friend, can't leave a log head such as yourself alone)

"Fine" Yanick sighs exasperatedly

The burly teen rushes to pierce through their scattered formation, (the third years ditched us!), He realises before rushing at Raven who glances to see looks if anyone was coming to his aid only to see them watching him,

(why the hell are you all so calm!...help me!)

Weaving the punch thrown at him he tenses his arm and 'Force wraps around his body concentrating from his elbow to arm before bulleting like a spring in an upper cut motion. Shattering the boy's neck and jaw while forcing a blood churning scream out of him, every lerson oresent watches in part disbelief and fear.

Meanwhile a certain auburn haired teen is propped against his power bike while seated on the floor, pulling out a cigarette James lights it while watching the sea of bodies piled in front of him

"Wow! You did this?" Having his thoughts interrupted he looks up at two guys watching the squirming and immobile bodies in awe "your great!" He states watching the squirming bodies sporting black jackets depicting a three headed dog

Getting to his feet cautiously James watches the two

"Don't worry they were always picking fights with us heard they were running scams too, I ought to thank you for this"

James watches as the two walk away before putting out the cigarette.
