Luna was always a happy little girl, but after the incident happened. She could still see her parents' lifeless bodies on the ground in the living room. Blood was drained from their bodies, not even a drop of blood on the ground. That was when she was six years old; now she was twenty years old and a police officer. A five-foot and five-inch woman that had an average look to her. Her mocha brown face was round, she had thin eyebrows, a pointed nose, full lip, dyed rust red hair that was shoulder length, and her eyes were hazel brown. The young woman was mainly focused on her parents' case.
While sitting at her desk and looking through the case as she drank her coffee. Her partner Luke walked to her desk. He was quite attractive. He was pale, fit, and taller than Luna by a few inches. His dirty blonde, thick, and wavy hair was in his face. He pushed it back and gave Luna a charming smile that would knock any girl off her feet, any girl but Luna. "Hey, Lun." He greeted her, his voice was smooth like honey. Luna was slightly glad that he hadn't tried flirting with them yet.
She looked up from her computer and saw that he was still smiling at her. She pressed her lips together and nodded in a form of response. She glanced back at her computer screen and read the files that were logged in about her parents. She groaned slightly in annoyance, there was nothing that could connect her to the killer, except that they had teeth marks on their necks. She thought it was strange. "Bro it's like a damn movie. They have bite marks on their necks like the vampires in movies give their victims." She hissed.
Luke laughed quietly to himself and glimpsed at her computer before back at her. "You're wasting your time looking at that old case." He explained. The man turned away and then walked away, leaving Luna to her thoughts. Maybe he was right. She's wasting her time with her parents' case, but she out of all people wanted closure. She closed her eyes and swooped her bangs out of her face.
"Why isn't there anything else in this case?" She thought to herself. She tapped her feet on the ground as she got lost in her thoughts. After hours she was at home making herself a TV dinner. As she warmed up the food she looked at her phone which had photos of her parents' they looked happy in the picture. A smile formed on her face as tears filled her eyes. "Mom, Dad, I miss you both." She mumbled. "Don't worry I'm still working on both of your cases."
