Part 0: Beginning of the end...

Arc 1: The New Reapers

(2 Weeks since Sam became a Reaper)

(A rainy day at a funeral)

(Two men in black clothing are overlooking the funeral)

A man giving a speech at the funeral: (Tearing up) Sam was a good, amazing man he didn't deserve to die so fast!!!

Louis: (One of the men overlooking the funeral) So uh...this must be awkward. Overlooking your own funeral like this.

Sam: (The other one overlooking the funeral) (With a straighter back and a somewhat stronger physical build) Yeah... whole lot more people than I thought.

Louis: You thought there would be less?

Sam: Yeah.

(The man giving the speech bursts into tears and starts trying to dig open the grave to join Sam)

(People pull him away)

The Man: (Crying) I'll destroy trucks and drunk drivers! For you Sam!

Louis: Jeez was he always like this?

Sam: Should'a seen him during Hachi: A Dog's Tale...

Louis: That is a depressing movie though.

Sam: Yeah...

Louis: So do we just wait for this to end or...?

Sam: Let's wait and see what happens.

(The funeral ends and everyone starts to leave)

Sam: (Takes off his hat) Alright let's go.

(Louis starts using a teleportation spell)

(A girl sees Sam and start running towards him)

The Girl: (Suddenly stops) S…Sam!?

Sam: Sara Lancelot boy this is awkward. Louis stop the spell.

Louis: I can't once it starts I can't stop it!!!

Sam: Ah...throw it or something.

(Louis throws the spell at Sam's grave)

(In Mister Suzuki's class)

(Sam's gravestone appears out of a gateway)

Suzuki: (Puts down his book and reads the gravestone) Samuel Logan Reyes. August 17th 1990 to October 31st 2007. "Don't grieve but rejoice at what I left behind. hope and love.". What did those morons do now?

(Back at the funeral)

(Sara runs towards Sam with a smile on her face looking like she wants a hug)

(Sam opens his arms)

(Sara punches Sam in the face)

Sam: (Due to the damage resistance of a Reaper he feels minimal pain) Ow... that kinda hurt.

Sara: (13 years old, Flowing brown hair, brown eyes and a small scar on the left side of her forehead) (Wearing a funeral dress) (In a confused tone) That was a direct hit!!! You didn't even flinch!!

A woman rushes over: (34 years old, neat blonde hair and brown eyes) Sara!! What's going on here!!?

Sam: Hello Mrs. Pendragon.

Caroline Pendragon: Logan? (Takes and looks at Sam's face) Your eyes are red? Have you gotten enough sleep?

Sam: Mrs. Pendragon, you're more worried about my eyes than me being alive.

Caroline Pendragon: Well one of Arthur's friends was a Reaper...

Sara: (Suddenly hugs Sam) I missed you!!

Sam: Haha, listen can we discuss this over some tea?

(In a suburban home in Tokyo)

(Around a coffee table)

(Sam explained everything)

Sara: So...you're a ghost but not a ghost?

Sam: (Finishes his tea) I guess you could put it like that... Mrs. Pendragon you're being really calm about all this?

Caroline Pendragon: (Happily humming) Oh, I'm just glad you're back here, Logan. We'll get your room ready right now.

Sam: Um... Mrs. Pendragon I can't stay here... I've kinda got a place to stay.

Caroline Pendragon: Oh! Okay, what's it like?

Sam: (A tiny bit ashamed) It's a hall full of bunk beds...

Caroline Pendragon: Okay!

Sam: Able's there too.

Caroline Pendragon: Oh I know!

Sam: And Kane...

Caroline Pendragon: Really? Well send him my best regards.

Sam: Right.

Louis: (Sitting next to Sam) Sam we should probably get going, It may be a Sunday but you know how Jericho is when we miss a few seconds of exercise!

Sam: Oh damn you're right!!!

(Sam quickly stands up)

Sam: (Heads towards the exit) Sara, Mrs. Pendragon it's been really fun seeing you again...

Caroline Pendragon: Well Logan as strange as this day has been it's good knowing you're still technically alive. You're free to come here anytime you need shelter or help!

Sam: Thanks Mrs. Pendragon.

(Before Sam leaves through the door Sara tugs on his jacket)

Sam: (Turns around) Yeah?

Sara: (Gives Sam a small box) It's a gift I got for you, for if you made it into college p...please open it?

(Sam opens the box and inside is a gold and silver watch with: "For my hero" inscribed in black around the clock)

Sam: (Puts on the watch) Thank you...

Sara: No problem.

(Sam and Louis go outside)

Louis: (Starts the teleportation spell) Here's hoping we're not late for exercise hour...

Sam: (Looks at the watch) Oh no! It's 12:07 hurry up!!!

Louis: I'm going as fast as I can!!

(Louis and Sam teleport away in a panic)

Sara: (Leaning on a wooden railing) Mom do you believe him?

Caroline Pendragon: The things Arthur told me sometimes, it's hard not to believe the two of them...

(In Mr. Suzuki's class)

Suzuki: (Drinking coffee while reading a newspaper) The two of you better hurry...

Louis: We know sir!!

Suzuki: If you run, you might beat her there. No guarantees though.

(Sam and Louis run towards the training fields)

(They make it there out of breath)

(Jericho isn't there)

Sam: (Out of breath) Hahahaha! I almost thought we wouldn't live to tell the tale!

Louis: (Out of breath holding onto his knees) You and me too brother...

Jericho Griffin: (Grey eyes and short red hair) (Standing behind them) (In a quiet hard tone) Oh... You'll live to tell the tale, only thing is haha it's gonna be a lot different.

(Sam and Louis turn around slowly and scared)

Louis: Crap...

Jericho: But luckily for you two lads we're only exercising Magica today.

Sam: Y...yay.

Jericho: But you Mr. Reyes will a 15km run today...

Sam: Why Me!?

Jericho: (Walks past them) You need some leg work.

Sam: (Angry) Why?

Jericho: Just cause.

Sam: Ah, that's just plain unfair!

Jericho: It won't be unfair when you're fighting monsters.

Sam: But… but.

Jericho: Hehe... alright all of you listen up!

(Everyone stops what they're doing does the Reaper salute)

Jericho: Now today we'll be doing something a little different. You'll be learning about Magica and Elementa!!

Peter: So...? Magic?

Jericho: Kinda.

Peter: So what exactly is it?

Jericho: Listen carefully now all of you! Magica and Elementa is well let me give you an example. (A group of string comes out her hand) This is my Elementa "Silver string". (She ties up Peter's body

using the string) While it has no offensive capabilities it is perfect for immobilizing the enemy. You all have your own Elementa each of which is unique.

Peter: (On the ground) Help me please.

Able: And how exactly do we let's say unlock our Magica?

Jericho: There are multiple ways first you need to understand Magica Potential which is truly needed for Magica Elementa. Magica potential is unlocked through several ways…

(Jericho narrating: 1st: When you become a Reaper you instantly unlock your potential. Which is only training from there on.

2nd: The Monk way as we like to call it harnessing and mastering the Soul and Spirit. This takes an incredibly long time to do for some merely a week others take years.

3rd: Magic daggers performing a spell on a Magica dagger and stabbing yourself with it will unlock your Magica potential at an incredible speed and power.

4th: Witches and those with Demon blood are naturally gifted and have Potential from the start.

5th: Pushing yourself and training non-stop)

Jericho: Training and mastery is how you gain your Elementa.

Kane: And what exact training do you do?

Jericho: Simple the stronger the body, the stronger the mind when the mind is at its strongest it will realize the potential and awaken the Elementa. So in other words. Continue with your exercises! Also constant training makes you stronger raising your Magica level it quite literally works on a scale of 1 to 10. Only Angels, Demons and Reapers can reach above a Magica level of 6. Angels can go to 10, Demons to 9 and Reapers to 8!

Everyone: Yes ma'am!

Peter: Umm… Miss Griffin when will this string go away?

Jericho: Oh in about 4 hours give or take.

Peter: 4 hours!? How am I supposed to exercise then!?

Jericho: Roll on the ground until you start to sweat then!

Peter: Alright! (Rolls away and rolls off a cliff) Ahh! Somebody help me!! I bring comedy so if I die you'll lose that!!!

Kane: Haha, should I go get that idiot?

Jericho: Yes please.

(Kane chases after Peter rolling off the cliff)

Sam: When should I do the 15km run?!

Jericho: How about now? Since it's 12:15 I guess you'll be done around 19:30. So go now!

Sam: There's no way a 15km run can take that long!

(Something made of iron gets attached to Sam's right leg)

Sam: What the!? (Sam tries to break it off) It won't go off!

Jericho: That should weigh you down by approximately 75kg making you run far slower. It will only come off the second you hit 15km so go now!

(Sam starts running)

Able: Will he be okay?

Jericho: Yeah...he just needs to run and not stop running.

(Heibai and Shinitsu are overlooking Sam running)

Shinitsu: General are you sure this is safe?

Heibai: Relax, this happens every Sunday.

Shinitsu: This running exercise sir?

Heibai: Yes and others. We call them Reaper Challenges every Sunday a random Reaper gets selected and does an extreme exercise challenge. In this case run 15km while being weighed down by 75kg.

Shinitsu: And what if he doesn't complete the run.

Heibai: (Walks away) He'll have to keep going until he's finished…

Shinitsu: Where are you going General?

Heibai: I got something I need to check out, coming with?

Shinitsu: (Follows Heibai) Sure where to?

(They enter the Scythe pillar room)

Shinitsu: What's this?

Heibai: (Speaking to Garland) Any changes in the Rogue Scythe?

Garland: (Stands up out of his chair) (In a lazy tone) No General nothing just yet. Although now that I look at it, it does kind of look like it's starting to glow.

Heibai: That's merely a sign that its wielder will soon be shown to us. It will not go out until then. In fact it will get brighter and brighter…

Garland: You guys know I sleep in here right?

Heibai: So?

Garland: That light's going to bother me!

Heibai: Does it look we care? Your only job is to guard the Scythes.

Garland: (Sits down and opens his book) (Speaking quietly and spitefully) You know you guys are the reason I go to therapy.

Shinitsu: So general who do you think is the "Rogue Reaper"?

Heibai: That's hard to narrow down but Anderson, Suzuki and Jericho have their suspicions.

Shinitsu: Like who?

Heibai: The Rogue Reaper is one who will walk down the path of Wrath… so far no one has shown that. Although Suzuki said one of his students "Saw someone outside the window" and that he sometimes "Hears someone whisper to him often".

Shinitsu: And who is this student?

(Outside Sam is running)

Shinitsu: Him sir?

Heibai: Yes, we'll just have to wait and see what happens here...

(Sam continues running looking a tiny bit tired)
