35. Shivi's POV

He was feeling sad sad today....

Yes I missed him.... Out of that missing missing Kartik par hi gussa kar diya.... But when he told me his deal got cancelled I really felt bad... I shouldn't behave that way... He's already tensed and on that Am behaving like this... In spite of he directly came to me.... Lekin nahi meko toh gussa karna hai....!!!

Am feeling angry of myself now and I hugged him more tightly while sitting on his lap....

My Kartik is not showing but I know he's sad..... He always tries to chill me up when Am sad Or disappointed woh bhi on the silly things... I should also do something for him.....

He keep on creasing my hair while I was leaning on his chest in his embrace... I can feel sad sad vibes from him.....

And I smiled happily looking at him.....

"Kartik... " I called him

He hummed while his eyes we're still closed....

"Can I... Can I cook something yummy yummy for you??? " I asked Excitedly...

He looked at me for a moment and smiled while pecking on my forehead..... "No baby girl... Mere hote hue....Why would my little kiddo work ??? Hmm"

I knew it... I knew it....!!!!!!

"Kartik Please na.... Let me..... It's not work for me sachi.... I would love to cook for you!!! "

I said sadly....

"Baby.... But... " He tried to say something but I cut in between....

"No but... Please please please please please please" I said with puppy face.... It's my last brahmaastraa I know It would definitely work....

"Achaa baba Achaa okay..... But why you want to cook all of the sudden??? " He asked raising his eyebrow....

Shit!!! Ab kya bolu???

I looked down and tried to find words.... "Because because..... Ummmm aese hi.... Please na let me I promise you would love it"

I heard him sigh and yes it's sign of victory..... Ha ha... Well done Shivanya.... You got it... !!!

"Okay but only on one condition" He replied

And I looked at him lowering my lower lip like a disappointed baby.....He looked at me for a sec and then He squeezed my cheeks with his hand.... And pulled me closer and pecked me slowly on my lips.....

"Aese karogi toh kha jauga" He said in his deep voice which made me blush and I gazed down ufff uff ufff....

He chuckled and replied

"Okay my shy baby.... Condition is I'll be with you all the time in Kitchen"

I snapped my head towards him giving him a look like..... If Kartik urf Changez Khan would be with me ALL THE TIME in the Kitchen tab toh ban gya khana.....

I can imagine him saying

Sweeta don't do this it would hurt.... Sweeta carefull... Baby let me do it.... Baby tum chodh hi do just sit I'll do it..... Ahhhhh!!!!! Plan execute karne se pehle hi flop ho gya....

I gave him a please look....

And he shaked his head

"I'll not allow you alone in the Kitchen and that is final... " He said in his firm tone which I know even my puppy face would not work and I also know if I try to throw tantrum Changez khan would not even allow me to step inside the kitchen..... Kuch nahi se kuch behtar and I placed my head on his chest slowly and gave in....

"Okay" I said in i-don't-have-other-choice-voice...

But okayyy!!!! One more idea... Yesss yesss Shivi you are genius... And I looked at him again.... "Kartik.... You didn't even get fresh after coming back from office... Go Go take shower till then I'll WAIT for you here then We'll cook" I said blinking innocently on him.....

He looked at me with thinning his eyebrows... "Ummm yeahhh right.... But Shivi baby.....

What you'll do here.... Come... Come with me in my room...

TILL AM TAKING SHOWER" He said and stood up.... With me in his arms and started walking towards his room...

Shit shit shit..... No....!!!!

"Kartik but... I am okay waiting here..... "

"How can I leave my little kiddo here all alone hmmm??? " He replied with tease in his tone...

Okay he got my trick....!!!! Ahhhh!!!!

"Huhhhh!!!!!" I said in irritation...

"Huhhhh!!!!" He mocked and I pouted and he suddenly kissed me again.... Uffff ufff ufffff!!! Why he do such things.... And this redness!!! Ughh just a matter of sec and it's back again...!!!! Krishna jii!!!!

He slowly kept me on his bed and cupped my face.....

"I want you here when am back Okay otherwise next time I'll take you in the washroom with me... " He said in his throaty yet authoritative voice and

He whatttt??????? I looked at him with my big eyes...!!!! I know he is definitely not joking this time.... Okay Shivi... You don't have any other option to Goddamn WAIT....!!!! Ahh...

He pecked my forehead and walked towards his washroom smirking.... He is too bad and I folded my arm and legs on the bed pouting!!!!

His phone started ringing... It was on the bed beside me.... I looked and That was from Raj bhai.... I picked that up.....

"Hey bhai" I said

"Ohh Shivi Hii.... Where's Kartik" He replied

"Mr. Khadoos is taking his beauty shower" I replied dramatically

He chuckled and I too giggled....

"Shhh shhh shhh If he listen I'll get two hour lecture again" I replied slowly....

"Ohhh yeahhh shhhhhh" He replied in same whispering tone...

"Tell Mr. Khadoos to call me after his beauty shower" He futher said....

"Okay Okay bhai done.... " I replied with thumbs up... Surely he can't see that but I know he'll know..... Anyways Anyways....

"Okay byee Shivu Take care.... " He said

"Bye bye" I replied and hanged up....

When I turned around Kartik was already standing behind me  cleaning his hair and I jumped in shock....

Mar gye!!!

"Aap kabse yaha hai??? " I asked with shock....

"Just when you said bye bye..... But what happened??? Why you got shocked looking at me hmm hmmm??? He asked throwing towel aside....

" N.... Nothing.... Aese hi.... Woh woh... Bhai was saying to call him back..... " I managed to say.....

"Uhmm hmmm " He looked at me and sighed.... He agreed just like that???? Like no CID wale interrogation....!!! Haaah!!! Meko kya mei toh baar baar bachi.....!!! Phew!!!

And I stood up on bed excitedly.... "Let's go for cooking then???? " I asked happily...

He chuckled looking at me and shaked his head.... He picked me up like a baby and said

"jesa aap kahe madam" And walked towards the kitchen...

On reaching there he made me sit on the shelf and turned to take things out but I held his hand..... "Let me remind you

Mr. Kartik.... I was going to cook"

He ruffled my hair and replied

"Of course you are going to COOK but Let me give you the things hmmm??? "

I held his shoulder and hoped down the shelf while he hold me from waist to make sure I safely land... Like I was coming down from 4th floor.....!!!

"No Kartik Ji aap bethiye and I'll do everything by myself" I said and pushed him back to make him sit on the chair....

"But Shivu baby" He tried to oppose but I glared at him and he gave in.....

I smiled and wore the apron placed near by and stood near the Kartik locking my hand in front like a waitress....

"So sir... What you want to have???? " I asked in professional tone

He looked at me and said after a moment "Ahmm What's your special Dish Mam?? "

"Anything you want... Once you'll eat food made by Our Master Chef Shivanya you'll feel like you are in heaven" I said gesturing with my hands.....

"Ooohoooo so.... I would like one

Margherita con Funghi pizza " He said

Wait wait.....He want what??????

Kasam se I felt like am sitting in my 10th standard trigonometry class...!!!!

I looked at him like he said something in German like I hadn't even heard of something like this... Like people really eat such thinks....

I gave him a confusing look which turned into blank and then sad and then puppy face.....

He was sitting folding his hands and then he started laughing loudly.... He stood up laughing and came to me....

He cupped my face while laughing laughing and laughing and kissed me on my forehead....

"Am sorry sweetaa Am really sorry" And he continued laughing...

I thinned my eyebrows and folded my arms like.... Ahhhh!!!!

I looked at different direction with angry expressions and he now was controlling his laugh.... Ughhhh!!!! He is... He is.... Really too bad...

"Achaaa baccha sorry sorry make one Shivi's special aloo ka prantha.... Just The way you love... " He said hugging me from back and kissing me on my cheeks....

I looked at him and said

"What about that.... What you said.... Ummm Margret fungi something..... "

He smiled and said "I don't want Margret fungii something.... I was just kidding.... Anything Master Chef Shivanya make would be like heaven for me.... Even a glass of water" And he kissed my hands.....

I looked at him and he ruffled my head "Okay Now mere pet mei chuhe dhor rahe hai jaldi jaldi" He said and I smiled at him and made him sit back on the chair..... "Okay" I said excitedly...

I moved back to self and grabbed all the things needed...

I looked at Kartik and he wad smiling looking at me which made me shy shy.....

"Don't look at me Like this Am getting distracted" I said

"Umm baby how can I not adore my little moon while she was looking so adorable??? " He replied softly and I hid my face in my hands and listened his chuckle....

Okay Shivi Control... Focus focus on food....!!!! And I gained myself back and tried to chop onion...  While Potatoes were boiling.....!!!!

While chopping onion.... My eyes turned teary and tears left my eyes.... I was going to wipe them off with my hand suddenly I felt Kartik's Hand on my face wiping my tears.....

I looked at him and he said taking knife from my hand...

"Shivi lemme do it hmm"

"Kartikkkk..... Am fine..... "

I replied opposing trying to take back the knife....

And he raised his hand above so that I couldn't reach..... Ahhh!!!

"Shivi..... You go and do other things.... I'll chop these for you....

Promise just this... " He said

"Kartikkk " I replied pouting....

"Please sweeta.... Anything but not this... I can't see tears in your eyes" He replied....

Okay.... I can't win this one and I gave in finally and I sighed and turned towards the flour..... I made dough and then looked at kartik he was done with onion... And also had chopped other veggiessss... I knew it....

He was going to do Further but I glared at him and he left that knife understanding and get back to his seat with a sorry expression.... Better that he understood!!!!!

I took potatoes to peel them off but those were too hot....!!!!

I peeked at Kartik and I can see his urge to take them from me.... !!! Not this...

I gave him a not-this-time look and he gave me back just-this-time look..... I shaked my head in no and started peeling them slowly...

One was too hot that I winced.... And that was it...!!!!

Kartik took my hand and asked worried "I had told you.... But you never listen.....!!! Come let me apply some medicine on it...."

He started dragging me towards the first aid box but I protested and pulled my hand back....

"Kartik Am fine... Am fine.... " I replied

"Shhhh.... Just come with me....." And he didn't listened as always and anyhow dragged me towards the opposite side where first aid box was and picked me up to make me sit on the counter.... I pouted looking at him while he was applying some paste which I don't know what was ....!!!

He looked at my sad face and asked softly "Is it painful?? "

I looked down..... And almost said in inaudible voice "Let me cook"

He sighed and replied "Shivi"

I made puppy face looking at him on the verge of crying....!!! I really wanted to do something for him....!!!

He cupped my face and said

"No no no.... Don't....

Achaaa okayy cook... "

He said giving in and I smiled

"Schiiii"

He shaked his head and said

"But I'll arrange all the things.... You just cook it.... Okay....."

Like what is this???? I pouted....

"Shivuu my baby please....." He pleaded....

Okay I can't argue.... And agreed while nodding.....

He sighed and picked me up walking towards the gas stove again.....

He made me stand near it and started peeling potatoes and arranging all the ingredients while I prepared the stuffing.....

After that he stood just near me to make sure I don't get hurt again... While I cooked the pranthaaa....!!!! Finally Shukar hai wapis se lagi ni meko... Or else this would be my last time to come in kitchen....!!!!!

After making it I looked at Kartik happily and he smiled back saying "Very Good meri jaan... It smells really nice..... Am really craving now"

"You go and wait on dinning table I'll brink it.... " I replied smiling... Like I achieved victory.... This is not that I made it for first time... At bhai's home I always cook for everyone..... Especially when Bhai is at home.... Many times my hand burnt in that..... And Kartik always had noticed it.... He never said but I could see anger and regret in his eyes those days..... After all he's always the one who applied Ointment on it...!!! And I know this is the only reason he never let me work here.... Not even allow me to pick my glass of water.... He's so sweet and caring....!!!!

He pecked me on forehead and went towards the dinning Hall....

Thank God he didn't said.... You  go and wait I'll bring it...!!! Phew!! I smiled and bought hot case with pranthass and bowl of curd to the dinning Hall and served him in his plate.....

I noticed him and all he was doing was to adoring me..... Okkkk Am feeling shy now...!!!

The moment I was done serving he pulled me into his lap and kissed me on my lips.....!!!

"I love you my baby" He said

"Love you more Kartik" I replied and took a morsel dipped in curd for him.....

I stretched my hand towards him smiling and excited ti see his reaction and he kissed my hands before eating it...

When he ate I can see happiness..... Joy... And satisfaction on his face...

He closed his eyes and replied

"Hmmmmmm I never ate something such delicious like this before I swear"

I smiled looking at his expression and asked " You like it"

"Mera bachaa I love it" And he pecked me on my nose.....

I smiled like an excited child...

Bhai never praised for my food before... Kartik is the first one who said this....!!! And I smiled emotionally and he too took a morsel and fed me lovingly....!!!
