It's been one week since the alien invasion and things have been looking up for the city of New York. Tony Stark, the CEO of Stark Industries started a plan with DODC otherwise known as the United States Department Of Damage Control to rebuild the city while recovering alien tech.

Of course, they couldn't count for everything as quite a lot of alien tech started to appear on the black market.

Only god knows what they would do with it...

Sion on the other hand started to get comfortable with living with May and Peter Parker. At first, things were a bit stiff with Peter, but eventually, he became tolerable enough to hold some form of conversation.

Today was a Sunday, one day away from the first day of school for Midtown High. The school was untouched by the alien invasion and there was no reason for it to be closed, plus it would help if people had normal things to do during this time.

"You're going to love it at my school, trust me," Peter said with his signature smile. Ever since Sion started living with them, Peter tried his best to make him feel at home. The teenager was hoping Sion could be the brother he never had.

However, there was a slight problem.

Peter Parker was indeed Spiderman, a small-time hero who was just starting out his career after he was bitten by a radioactive spider. Generally, he snuck out at night to stop crime, but with Sion sleeping in his room, he needed to be more creative when he sneaks out.

Unbeknownst to him, Sion had long figured out Peter Parker was spiderman. Despite Peter's genius intellect, it was fairly easy to find out, especially when Sion is pretty observant.

Sion hasn't said anything about it because it was none of his concern. However, knowing that fact made Sion think of a strategy to keep his identity secret, one that he plans to implement this week.

"Somehow, I doubt that," Sion answered with a sigh. He's been thinking about it nonstop, and he can't help but dread the thought of going back to school.

Unfortunately, he couldn't run from it as it was inevitable.

"I'm going out for a run," Sion announced as he leaped down from the top bunk bed in Peter's...well their room.

"Oh...How about I join-"

"No thanks," Sion replied, leaving the room before Peter could finish his sentence.

"Ouch...am I that unlikable?" Peter said before continuing his drawing. He was sketching ideas for a suit he was going to wear. A random ski mask and a hoodie weren't going to cut it anymore.

"Should it have a cape?...No, I feel like someone out in the universe will say that is a bad idea."

"Oh, Sion, I was just about to call you boys for breakfast." May spotted Sion as he left their room. She decided to make breakfast this morning, and quite frankly, it was probably best she didn't.

Sion learned fairly quickly that May wasn't a cook, but she insists on trying despite her constant failing. He took a glance at the table she set and saw a standard American breakfast with eggs, bacon, and toast.

'It's all burnt...' Sion thought as he saw the charred food on the table. At the least, it does look edible, but he also learned not to trust his eyes.

"I'm not hungry. I'm just going on a run." Sion replied, continuing his way to the exit of the apartment.

"Oh..." May looked disheartened. She's been trying to get closer to Sion over the past week, and what better way to do that than through food?

Normally, Sion would simply ignore the drop in mood, but something overcame him at that moment. He made his way to the table, swiped the toast from the plate, and slammed the egg and a single slice of bacon on top before jamming it into his mouth.

The bacon was greasy, and the eggs were too salty, but he had no issues chewing and swallowing the food.

"It's better..." He said before running out of the apartment leaving behind a stunned yet happy May.

"It's better." She repeated with a warm smile on her face.

The city seemed a bit more lively than it was last week as most of the damage done by the battle was mostly repaired. There was still a lot of work to do, but things could only get better from here.

Of course, many people were still down on their luck with nowhere to go at the moment, but the majority had smiles on their faces as they were just happy to be alive.

Sion has been going on runs since the day after the major incident as he wanted to keep his body in tip-top shape. A simple black hoodie, joggers, and white sneakers and he was off down the sidewalk, running at a fairly normal pace.

Another reason he started to run was to learn the layout of the city and each day he would take different routes before returning home.

"Another run? Are you training to be a star athlete or something?" A familiar voice asked. It belonged to a girl who Sion had been seeing recently during his runs. She was breathtakingly beautiful, with long red hair, stunning green eyes, and a figure that could only be the result of the best genes manifesting in her DNA.

Her name was Mary Jane Watson, a teenage girl who recently moved to Queens a couple of months ago. And like Sion, she also was learning the layout of the city, looking out for the best places for parties. Her carefree attitude and looks got her into lots of places and she already had lots of friends...or acquaintances.

Mary had been trying to strike up a conversation with Sion for a while, but each time was met with silence. Mary had a knack for finding out secrets and the mysterious vibe from Sion is what drew her to him in the first place.

"..." Sion ignored her question and continued to run down the sidewalk, leading into the more dense area of the Queens.

Mary frowned."You know. You never going to find a girlfriend if you keep acting this way!" She shouted. She had tried to catch up with him once, but he ended up leaving her in the dust...multiple times.

"Grr...Just you wait." After all that time, she never got to know his name, but after seeing his face and size, she figured they would meet at Midtown High.

°•°•°•°°•°°•°•°•°

Eventually, Sion arrived in the shopping district where most of the people of Queens are located throughout the day. There were a lot of stores open and quite of few of them were having sales to ease some of the worries of the populace.

It was at this point that Sion slowed his run to a walk, taking in the sights. The city was loud and busy and yet it somehow comforted Sion as this place was almost like his home...his real home.

"You look like you need a hot dog. Everything is better with a good hotdog."

Sion immediately escaped his thoughts and looked in the direction of the voice and there he saw a real heavyset man. He looked to be around 30, bald head and dark brown eyes. The man was running a hotdog stand and from the looks of it, his business seems to be great.

"You may ask yourself...how does Mr.Fanbravo know? Of course, it's because I'm amazing!" He said with a hearty laugh, but seeing how he got no reaction out of Sion, he stopped.

"Or it could be that you just look like shit." The man said, letting out a sigh. "Here, it's on the house. You should cheer up. Worse things are going on you know? We could be dead."

Sion wanted to refuse, however, the man had already started making him a hot dog. It was covered with chopped onions, shredded cheese, and a bit of relish. He wasn't a big fan of relish, but he decided to take a bite out of it anyways.

"...Not bad," Sion muttered.

"See? Feeling better already. Now, go away, you're holding up my actual customers." Mr.Fanbrazo sarcastically said while using the shooing motion with his hand.

Sion didn't seem to mind and continued on his walk.

Unfortunately, he could only enjoy it for a couple more minutes.

In an undisclosed area, a familiar woman was watching Sion through what looked like a strange mirror.

"Hurry my little Sion. Hurry and become the hero you always dreamed of being..." The woman muttered as a malicious grin formed on her face.
