The Pearl Scale Empire is old.
Really, really fucking old.
Most dynastic empires only last about two hundred years give or take a couple decades, maybe a century if lucky. However, the Pearl Scale Empire has managed to last five hundred years and is still going, thanks to the leadership of the Pearl Dragon Emperor aka their first Emperor.
That title by the way is not hyperbole, he is actually a dragon, an Iridescent Pearl Ocean Dragon to be more specific.
