Aashiqa's pov

The next thing that came out of his mouth left me in utter shock.

"I know you will not trust me but I work in the mafia and I am the leader of our Indian circle....our leader is in Italy. For the last few days we have been facing some technical issues with our system and many best technicians tried to find a solution to the problem but failed so now, after listening to it and finally seeing how good your skills are, I am quite confident you can help us. And that's why I am asking you to help me and in return I will find your friend if she is in India and also if she is in another country.....But for that, you have to accept my offer...I know this is so much for you to take in a child and I am not asking you to answer right away, you can take some time to think carefully, with no pressure, and think freely.. Okay??"

While he was saying all these I was just sitting beside him and listening with my mouth open because all these things are complicated to grasp all at once.

After 5 minutes of staring at him and hoping he would laugh at the end saying that all this was a joke but no, he was sitting there, emotionless.He put his hand out with it business card in it. Then finally I took the card and said

"I will think about it."

I quickly got up and went away from there.I could say nothing else to him and I will definitely need a good amount of time to think about this because this one offer can make me meet Maya and ensure that she is safe and involved with all this mafia shit is not in my hand but again after thinking about Maya, I think I can take this much risk. Or can I?

I kept walking away having his business card in my hand. I was soon left alone with my thoughts from the surroundings.After 20 minutes of walking around, I decided to return home because it was evening and bhaiya must also be on his way back.As soon I reached home I turned towards the kitchen to make dinner.

I had dinner with bhaiya.After dinner I decided to sleep because right now, more than anything, I needed my sleep to have a clear mind tomorrow to think what to do and what not...It's been 2 days since that incident in the park with Mr. Albert, and till today I am thinking what to do and what not. Is accepting his offer even safe at all or it will be dangerous for me and Maya. I can't think anything.

Aaaahhhh it is so frustrating.....I stuffed my face in my pillow and shouted when I suddenly heard "Aashiqa...what happened?" As I turned around in my bed I saw bhaiya standing at the door with the look on his face like he just saw an annoying kid shouting for chocolate, I immediately stood straight and said

"Nothing Bhai....just something is bothering me and I am just frustrated, nothing else"

He just came towards me and said

"Whenever you feel frustrated just take a deep breath and keep your hand on your heart, then ask one last time to yourself what you should do, and the first thing your heart says will be your answer...Okay? Now don't stress yourself and relax."

After that he left me alone. I did the same thing that he told me....took some deep breaths and kept my hand on my heart and asked myself what should I do? Shall I accept his offer or not? Will he keep his promise? Will I be in danger...and at last I got my answer of what I should do and what not...Next moment I pick up my phone and dialed Mr. Albert's number....After few rings he answered the phone and said

"Hello...who's there?"

"Hello uncle....uhm I am Aashiqa" I replied hesitantly Then he said "yes Aashiqa, why did you call so suddenly? Everything alright?"

"yess uncle everything is fine...Uhm...I called you to tell you my answer..uhh..About the offer you gave me that day" I replied while fidgeting with my answer because come on...you will feel nervous to say whatever it is at the end moment in front of someone and much more if that someone is in mafia. Then he asked

"So...what's your answer?"

And I said "My answer is....."

.....
