Golden Treasury

Hikaru quickly summons a new yellow Oni. It was male and roughly the same size as its red companion. However, this one was much more skinner but more built. It was shirtless yet, wore an iron mask and black shorts.

Hikaru quickly pointed at the opposing gunslinger Andrew and commanded it to attack. From its hand, the Oni shot Yellow lightning which jolted towards him at terrifying speeds. The Thunder Bolt hit its target perfectly leaving behind only a cloud of dust.

The Chinese girl Luo Xiang emitted a glowing white light from her hand which revealed her own cursed tool, the Di jun bow. From it, she shot a single arrow which multiplied and set on fire in the direction of the Gon-ill. The Korean slaps both his hands together which summons a solid wall of cursed energy around him blocking the attack.

Meanwhile, the heavily injured Andrew emerged from the dust carrying a huge RPG-7 rocket launcher. Andrews's cursed technique allowed him to transmute the two revolvers he possessed into any gun or gunpowder-based weapon with a structure that he was familiar with. Using this ability he fires a missile at the yellow oni. 

Hikarus prepares to summon another shikigami only to see some dynamite drop from the sky and land in front of him. Unable to dodge quickly enough, he reinforces his whole body in cursed energy. Unfortunately, the grenade's impact was also enhanced with cursed energy canceling out whatever defense Hikaru could muster.

Hikaru is the first competitor to be knocked out of the match putting the Japanese team place in dead last on the first round.

Yumeno looks away from the match in embarrassment. It was her suggestion that put the team in its current state.

Gon-ill stayed on the defensive as more barrages of flaming arrows rained down on him. His cursed technique allowed him to create a variety of barriers that were stronger than the normal ones used by support-type sorcerers. However, as long they remained up he would be unable to attack back.

One of the stray arrows that were being fired ends up hitting the already injured Andrew knocking him out. This Put the American team in 3rd place.

Seeing no sign of the enemy's barrier breaking she decides to change her strategy. The Golden bow that once used flashes with a bright light and changes form into a large spear.

[Luo Xiang] Maximum : Heritage spear

The Once golden spear glows a burning red colour before being launched at Gon-ill. The impact from the spear smashes open his barrier revealing the Korean hiding inside. Before he had any time to open another one the girl quickly enters inside and delivers a powerful blow of filled with cursed energy knocking him out.

Frosty then screams into the microphone.

"THE WINNER OF THE FIRST ROUND IS, CHINAS' LUO XIANG!"

The crowd screams in excitement as the following results flash on the screen.

China - 3 points

Korea- 2 points

America - 1 points

Japan - 0 points

Later that day, the Japan team would meet their fallen comrade in the hospital bed. The competitive Omo would shout at him,

"What the hell were you doing?? You could have easily dodged that dynamite it took like 5 seconds for it to detanate??"

Hikaru shamley responded,

"I was sleep deprived okay?? Don't put so much pressure on me next time."

Akumu and ken slowly escaped the room while Taori and Yumeno gave Hikaru an earfull for losing badly that round. 

As the two wandered around the empty halls of the underground colosseum he eventually came across a group of people. It was the Chinese team making use of their free time. The only one who wasn't present among them was the Luo xiang who had fought in the match before.

Then the tallest one among them spoke, he had long green hair with two tattoos traveling down each of his eyes and arms. He attempted to mock the failing japanese team,

"Woah, Its the the Japanese that's in last place. With a Ghost user like that on your team you might as well just forefit the tournament."

The words angered Ken who quickly responded back,

"Are you looking for a fight?"

The two began to release their cursed energy trying to put pressure on each other. Akumu quickly calms Ken down while the orange-haird Chinese member speaks too him,

"Calm down Qiang, If we fight them here we will get in a lot of trouble too."

[Qiang] But Lord Haoran..

[Haoran] That was an order Qiang, Dont make me repeat myself.

Qiang retracted his cursed energy before tching to himself. Haoran then looked at Akumu and spoke,

"You are the leader of your team am I correct? you seem like the strongest among them."

Unsure on what kind of an answer to give he just silently nods.

"If you guys manage to pull back from this i have no doubts that you will make back to third place at least. Anyway Goodluck to you", Haoran said before leaving with his team.

[Ken] That guy pissess me off

[Akumu] If your that annoyed feel free to fight in the next round. They make me angry too but our opportunity to fight isn't right now. 

Ken who agreed with the statement followed Akumu into the Darkness.

A couple of years ago

A white-haired woman in a lab coat walks down a dark corridor only to emerge into a brightly lit control station. It was all filled with many different desks covered in bright red and yellow buttons with many different people performing a variety of different tasks.

But what stuck out among all of the science work was the glass hollow tube in that was built into the center of the room. It was large and filled with a strange liquid, the glass itself had a multitude of symbols and engravings seemingly molded onto the structure.

But what was the most important of all was the creature that was contained from the outside world. It was small and baby like but it at the same time contained world ending potential. Its four eyes were incredibly alien as it also lacked a chin.

The women then spoke,

"Are we prepared to cut off a piece??"

A much taller man with brown hair responded with a simple yes. The two looked at each other before turning back at the amalgam that floated in the water.

"If this experiment is successful we could save a lot of lives.", the woman said.

But the brown-haired man countered, "In contrast, It could also kill so many. Who knows how long it will take before we all end up like her."

The white-haired woman then asked, "Does that mean you're opposed to Project Dr.Musaku?"

Musaku hesitated to give an answer. But then he replied,

"Who lives, Who dies I really couldn't care less. As long as we reach the most promiseful outcome."

The women turned around and asked a question to the blonde-haired man hiding behind them,

"What do you think about this Dr. Senjuro?"
