The Cipher Headquarters.

Gengar has been following the van for over two hours now and there still seems to be no sign of slowing down.

The three men inside haven't spoken a word, and his target seems to have calmed down as time took effect.

Gengar noticed that the van was heading straight towards the dense forest up ahead, making him think that their base was up there.

After an hour of following the dark van into the depths of the dense forest, the van finally came to a stop and Gengar got excited.

The two brooding men got out first and then slid the passenger door to pull out Gengar's target.

The man's heartbeat started to rise up again as he felt the uncertainty of his situation.

The people he is working for are dangerous and any hic-up on his part will lead to his doom.

He still doesn't understand how he failed the mission when he did everything to the tea.

Finding a troublemaker, giving him exact detail on what to do, and staying behind a little to make sure that things are going as planned.

He had stayed in Alola an hour longer than he needed to, just to make sure that the plan doesn't fail. But now these two are telling him that he failed? He doesn't trust them.

"Where are we going?"

The man asked with hesitation in his voice, but the two brooding men didn't seem interested in speaking with him. Instead, they continued dragging him deeper into the forest on their feet.

He grew even wearier as the brooding men didn't answer him. His guts were telling him to make a run, but he knows that his escaping from these men are zero.

These two men are dangerous and some of the major fighting forces behind the organization that they work for.

As the two brooding men continued to walk deeper into the forest, they suddenly entered through an invisible force field and the entire scenery changed.

The once dense-looking forest has completely disappeared and instead stands a massive, advanced monument.

Gengar was also taken aback by this, as he didn't sense anything outside the force field. Of course, he was not trying to find something, or else he would have noticed it.

But even without him boosting his senses, they are still very strong, making him aware of even the slightest change in his surroundings.

So him not sensing such a huge building without passing the force field is definitely something new.

Putting his surprise aside, Gengar focused on the building before him. The building seems very advance for the current times.

Gengar also noticed a lot of members standing guard outside the building, clearly meant to be a lookout and cannon fodder if they are somehow invaded by authorities of the Orre region.

Seeing the arrival of the two brooding men and their captive, the cipher guards became alert and quickly informed the ones inside about their arrival.

Gengar's target got nervous as he saw the huge building in front of him. He has never been here before as he doesn't work for Cipher. He was a hire from the outside.

At first, he wanted to reject their request, but the price was too good to refuse, but now he feels like he made a mistake. He felt a sense of impending doom wash over him as every step he took got him closer to the building.

Gengar continues to follow the three before stopping in his tracks. He wanted to have some fun, as the time he spent following these three was awfully long and boring.

He observed his three possible victims, the two brooding men, and the man he was sent to follow.

His original target seems to be a bass of stress right now, so it would be no fun to make him suffer, but the two brooding men seem like perfect targets to him.

He wondered what it would take for him to break them out of their weird state. And since Gengar is not a fan of being patient, he decided to start right now.

Gengar [Gegege]

Gengar laughed creepily and entered the shadow of one of the brooding men and waited for him to get close to the building entrance.

The guards around at the entrance felt their hearts race a little because they are scared of these brooding men. The guards know that these men are dangerous and would not hesitate even for a second to kill them if they did something wrong.

So every cipher member in the vicinity is standing still in attention pose with their guns in their hand, they wanted to look as disciplined as possible.

But what they witnessed next caused some of them to laugh unwillingly.

Gengar, who just infiltrated one of the brooding men's shadows, decided to literally pull his leg, so from the shadows, he grabbed one of his legs and pulled it.

This caused the always serious, scary, brooding man to fall face-first on the ground with a thud.

Seeing the always serious brooding man fall like this, some of the cipher guards couldn't hold their laughter as they found the situation a little funny. But they still tried their best to not laugh, causing them to snicker.

The other brooding man who is still standing got confused because of his partner's sudden fall. Even the man they brought here is confused seeing this.

The image of the brooding man that always seemed very scary instantly shattered in the minds of the surrounding people.

The victim in this scenario is also as confused as his partner. He quickly got back to his feet and looked down at the ground to find the cause of his fall.

"What happened?"

The other brooding man asked with his grumbly dried-up voice.

"I don't know, I felt like something pulled my leg"

He answered with his own grumbly, dried-up voice. Hearing this, the other brooding man also looked down but didn't find anything that could catch their leg.

And they are very aware of their surrounding to not notice something that could make them fall. The brooding men found it weird, but they put the thought aside as they have other things to do.

They then took their captive into the building.

Gengar, on the other hand, is very disappointed by the response he got from the brooding men, as they didn't react at all. But this only made Gengar more determined to break them.
