And then she bowed, my own mother bowed, and quickly all of the other monkeys, including my grandfather followed suit. It felt weird to me if I had to be honest, and I did have some really pressing questions, but the tone she had used did not seem to indicate there was any space for argument, so I turned around and just as I thought about it, I was suddenly back in the control room with the peach tree. The table that had previously held the floating peach was gone, instead what was left was a wall with a screen filling it's entirety.

My heart skipped a beat as I saw it, the legendary blue screen, with it's golden scripts. The way with which the core of the world universe and the mandate of heaven is perceived by mortals. The stat sheet for flowers and fruits mountain, and the place where all of it activities are governed. And with it, power, so much power.

At first it was almost impossible to hold myself from clapping my fingers in Glee. A stat sheet, of course it was not the one that' most important, but with this, I could build the four winds sect into something formidable, an entity that could fight for me and defend me from any danger that could and would most definitely come my way. I'm not stupid, I heard the spirit of the flowers and fruit Mountain tell me that there were others that have been chosen to be the next incarnation of the monkey king, and there were three tools that belong to the monkey kind right here, and one was around my forehead and inexplicably bound to me. People are definitely going to be coming for my head soon enough, the only reason I'm still alive is probably because the elders and other disciples of the sect who had left had no idea what they had given up.

This was good, if I was diligent and focused and smart, I would be able to raise the four winds sect back to the level it had previously attained and perhaps surpass it. It just sucks I don't have a stat sheet of my own

I honestly felt like crying, this was a day that I never thought would have come, but here it was, and it was magnificent. The golden Headband was what had stopped me from cultivating all these years, and if I had never come in contact with a tool or perhaps anything that had a connection with the monkey king, then I would have remained a waste for all of my life. But now my curse has become my blessing, and there was nothing I wanted more now than to go cultivate.

The process of cultivation was quite easy, straight forward in a manner of speaking. You absorbed Qi, and then you use it to upgrade attributes, skills, spells, bloodlines etc. The higher level you reach in cultivation, the greater your Absorbtion capacity and the larger your Qi pool. A lot of other deciding factors would have to be the kind of cultivation technique you use, treasures and panaceas, pills, and location all determine just how fast you could absorb Qi, and at the moment I had a very normal Absorption rate for someone of my cultivation level.

What wasn't normal though was my total Qi pool, it was 990 times larger than normal, I had a capacity for Qi that is impossible and extremely insane. And that pool is bound to increase with each advancement in any of my cultivation realm. But this was all I had, most of the skills, spells and cultivation methods of the sect was lost when the most of it's sub Ark-Lands were taken away. They could be regained, after all the legacy of the Four Winds Sect was fool proof. All of it locked in the endless repository of knowledge that is the system, as long as I leveled up the Ark-Land to a good enough level, the scripture pavilion will return, and leveling that up, along with the sect's proficiencies would release all of the skills that have been lost.

But for now, I had to go look for a cultivation method, the prime method of the sect should still be in the Manor. There was a copy of it and couple of fundamental techniques of the sect sequestered in my bed side cupboard. I could never cultivate, so I studied, I tried to understand and hoped for a miracle… of course through it all I failed woefully, but now was my chance. I took one cursory look at both my stat Page and that of the sect, perhaps it would be wise to utilize the small amount of Qi they both had and see what changes they bring along.

The total Qi pool of the Ark-Land is abysmally small, but perhaps that was the norm, it's Absorption rate though was quite fast at 10 and hour, which means it had a full pool to be utilized every 15 hours, which was good. With no way to train and grow stronger I've had to rely on knowledge to get by, because my wit, or at least as much of it as I thought I had would have been the only way for me to survive. Either way the sect can wait a bit, but I had enough Qi in me to step onto the path of cultivation, I did not have a technique to help with Absorption, but to advance mainly just relied on me having enough Qi, the question here is, which type of cultivation will I advance first.

Body cultivation was not in fashions they tend to get beat up a lot. But there's no denying the raw physicality behind their striking abilities. If a body cultivator gets close to you, even if you win the fight, you will definitely end up with a broken bone, plus they advance faster in the early stages, stagnating in the mid to late cultivation realms, but even at that, they still had power. And the biggest factor behind body cultivators was the fact that in retrospect, many, if not almost all of their abilities does not require the usage of Qi. With the incredibly tempered body, a simple fist would create enough wind draft to create a typhoon.

Qi cultivators on the other hand would have to rely on the finite resource that is Qi, it powers their skills, it strengthens their bodies giving them moments of super human feats. But it runs out, and it was because of that most qi cultivators tend to have a little bit of an achievement in body cultivation. But as for me, I had to play to my strengths. The Four Winds Sect was mainly a Qi cultivation sect, however I've discovered I have a monkey's bloody bloodline, making me part demon. And demons were raw power in ever sense of the word, they punched harder than most and were faster, I believe or rather I'm hoping I have that sort of body. So I could make body cultivation my primary and augment it with qi cultivation.

Or I can just focus on both of them equally for now, before branching out when I'm sure of what I'm going for. There's no rush for me to get stronger, the sect perhaps as that would most definitely be the factor of power that's most important, it will cover me while I get stronger in secret. But for now, perhaps the first stage in the body refining realm should be a good enough place to start.

It was as if the entire world exploded in colors, my legs felt weak at the rush of energy into my body as the sir felt cleaner. It was euphoric, and then it was painful, I stumbled out of the control room and out onto stairs on the side of the giant peach tree. I felt sore and tired all over as my joints ached something fierce, I coughed, feeling a hollow pain in my chest and a pounding in my head. I can't believe I forgot about this part, body cultivation; as good and as powerful as it was, is also know as the madman's path to power… cause every time you achieve a major realm of stage, your body will be remodeled to match your new level of power, and it hurts, it hurts so much.
