JJK: Just A Human

I'm just a human. Just a human trying to keep up with the monsters I call friends. It isn't easy, everything I did, all the blood and sweat I put into improving was overshadowed by the talent all of them possessed. Luck was on their side since birth. God seemed to favor them, being blessed with talent many would envy. But who needs luck? Who needs gods? I was normal, and I made that my strength. And with that strength, I competed with the strongest. ___ I don't own JJK, just the OC's

Chapter Fifteen

"Nah, man, this is total bullshit..."

I muttered, looking at my notes with frustration. Just theories, the black flash was rather complicated, but that did not really matter... I needed more control over my cursed energy to do it more frequently.

"What are you doing?"

Shoko leaned in from my side, looking at the notes and raising an eyebrow.

"What language is that?"

I looked down at the writing, indeed, they were in a different language, but that wasn't really important. Keeping my thoughts private was.

"It's Georgian."

She raised an eyebrow, looking at the page for a second before looking back at me.

"Don't they speak English there?"

I deadpanned and closed the notebook, ignoring the inquisitive gaze of Akira.

"You mind if I borrow that?"

I looked at him for a moment, before shrugging and tossing him the notebook. He wouldn't be able to read it anyway.

He caught it and opened it, his eyes roaming over the writing and looking at me.

[You want to do a black flash on command?]

I blink. He just spoke Georgian, he knew that shit? Since when?

[Yes?]

He snorted and passed me the notebook again.

[Good luck, bro.]

...What the fuck just happened?

I absently grabbed the notebook, staring at him like I had just seen an Alien.

"Oi, Nerds, don't keep us out of the loop!"

My eyes drifted to Gojo and I deadpanned at him. I had enough to deal with concerning Akira, and I wasn't going to deal with his ego right now.

"Skill issue..."

Akira snorted, and Gojo glared daggers at me as I went back to writing.

___

"Dude... What you're doing is dumb... But also very smart..."

I raised an eyebrow at Gojo who was looking at me with narrowed eyes, his six eyes active.

"What you are doing is basically creating a simple domain around you're whole body as a very thin layer..."

He hummed.

"How the hell am I creating a simple domain around my body when I can't even create a normal one?"

Gojo leaned back, humming too, and put a hand on his chin... and shrugged.

"You're weird."

He concluded like an expert.

"You would know all about that, wouldn't you?"

I shot back, getting a grin in return. Heavy footsteps stopped us from continuing the conversation as I turned around, spotting our teacher, whose name I totally did not forget.

"Kaito, you have been assigned a mission by the higher-ups."

He spoke like a drill sergeant...

"Akira will accompany you to evaluate your performance so you can be assigned a grade and Shoko will be there in case of any injuries."

Mhmm, mhmm... Can I get the damn mission details already? How long are we going to drag this out?

"Hey teach, what about us?"

Gojo asked, throwing a hand around Geto, who just looked unbothered.

"You two will stay here."

Gojo whined, his shoulders slouching and bringing Geto lower who just sent him an irritated look.

"Alright."

Akira slapped my back and I looked up at him with an irritated look, grabbing the offered hand and being pulled up.

"Let's go get changed, we got a mission to go to."

I sighed, shoving my hands in my pockets, and followed Akira to the changing rooms, Shoko ran up to us before slowing down as she walked beside me.

"Are you excited?"

I glanced at her, raising an eyebrow at her before shrugging.

"Nah, not really."

She deadpanned at me and I chuckled, looking back to the front for a moment before I felt an elbow hitting my arm. Glancing at Akira with a raised eyebrow, I gave him a questioning look at the smirk he was wearing.

"What?"

He snickered.

"Nothing, nothing..."
