They moved in a coordinated dance, each step calculated to confuse and disorient the creature. Veronica fired a shot, striking the beast in the shoulder. It roared in pain and turned its glowing eyes towards her.

"Over here!" she shouted, firing another shot to keep its attention.

The creature charged, its massive footsteps causing the ground to tremble. Veronica led it towards the clearing, her movements quick and precise. John and Natasha flanked the monster, their attacks keeping it off balance.

As they reached the clearing, Veronica climbed onto a large boulder, gaining a vantage point. "Now, John!"

John nodded, his eyes focused on the creature.

With a powerful leap, he launched himself at the beast, driving a sharpened steel rod into its side. The monster roared in agony, swinging its massive claws wildly.
