"Let go of my hand."
Jeff chuckled and smiled at her widely.
"I fell in love with you before he did. I found you first so why? Why did he get you first?"
He chuckled again, but this time it was mixed with a bit of hysteria.
"I said let go of my hand officer Jeff." Maria insisted as her lips trembled.
"I said call me Jeff!" He roared at her with wide eyes.
Maria flinched and tried to scurry away from him, but his hold was strong. She used her free hand to reach for her phone, but Jeff snatched her wrists and tightened his grip on it.
Maria let out a small cry as her hand became limp and her phone slipped out of her hand, falling onto the floor.
"You think I'd allow you do that? it's just you and me here, in this secluded area. Even if you scream, no one would hear you."
'Oh God no.' Maria thought. She felt so stupid for agreeing to come to his idea and coming to the outskirts of town.
