Forgetting about her pain

After checking the information, The bank employees turned to look at her.

"The total amount that you have in your account, Is five million." Henry informed her and watched the shocked look on her face.

Well, It wasn't just her, Noah too who was sitting beside her jaw dropped at the information.

"The number will continue to grow if you continue to invest the money in our bank services." Henry added as he picked up another set of papers that she needed to sign and then to her.

Patel turned to look at Noah and he nodded his head at her.

"It's such a good investment. As a lawyer, I highly recommend you to continue to invest the money." Noah assured her.

"Very well then, Please fill and sign these papers so we can issue an ATM card for you." Henry said.

Looking at the papers, Patel picked up the pen and started to fill the forms, After finishing filling the form, and handed it back to him.

"Please wait here, It won't take long for the card to be ready." Henry said before he stood up and left the office.

Staring at the box, Patel sighed and turned to look at Noah who was looking at her too.

"Thank you." She said to him, signaling.

Smiling at her, Noah placed his hand above hers, rubbing it gently.

"No need to thank me, I want to be here by your side." He said as he held her hand and brought it to his lips kissing the back of it.

Patel retreated her hand immediately and looked away from him blushing forcefully, She opened her bag and put her ID cards and password inside the bag without looking at him.

Noah chuckled softly as he stared at her, This is a good sign he thought to himself.

After ten minutes, The bank employee came back with the ATM card in his hands.

"Miss Patel, This is your card, You can withdraw any amount you want, Shopping and also online shopping." Henry explained as he handed her the envelope." Feel free to contact me at any time." He added and she nodded her head and stood up and left along with Noah.

Inside the car, Patel kept Staring at the envelope with empty eyes. She hadn't expected that her mother had left all that money to her. She was as they say the right person now and can buy anything she wants with all this money.

"Do you want to talk about it? You seem to be disappointed." Noah asked as he stopped the car in Infront of a small cafe.

She sighed and nodded her head.

"I thought that she left me something that belongs to her, I miss her so much." She signaled and wiped the tears that rolled down her eyes.

Seeing her like this, Noah felt a tug in his heart.

"I understand what you are feeling, too lost my father five years ago." Noah said, hoping to distract her and make her stop crying.``It was hard and it still is." He picked up a tissue from the tissue box and started to wipe her tears gently.

Patel suddenly found herself forgetting about her pain and looking into his brown eyes, Noah is a handsome young man, His facial features are breathtaking and she suddenly found herself aware of his feelings towards her.
