CHAPTER XIV

It was already six o'clock in the afternoon and it's already sunset. I heard a three knocks.

"Yes, you may enter"

"Sir, there's someone who's looking for you he's—"

Before Hina could finished what she's saying, Reeves who's behind him walk inside my office.

"I came to pick you up"

Ugh really...

"Yeah, let's go home"

Hina was surprised.

"Oh Hina I didn't mentioned it right? This is Reeves Val Hungevszky. He's my friend and I crashed into his house for a while"

"Oh!"

She then bowes her head at Reeves.

"It's nice to meet you sir, i'm Hina Masukin sir Kyenzi's secretary"

"Yeah, pleasure to meet you as well"

Her expression was in awe. At first she was surprised but then she's now mesmerized. Maybe because I have a good looking friend or should I say lover?

A month has passed since Reeves started to send me off and pick me up, and the two of us got famous. The head news all over in Japan was all about me and Reeves saying, "Mr Kyenzi Byanzheki has a hot friend! The two of them are really close like brothers!"

They are also curious about Reeves so many reporters checked his background and find out that he's part of a world's organization making my reputation more valuable.

"If Mr. Kyenzi Byanzheki has a friend that's part of the world's organization, doesn't that make him more of an important person?"

"Yeah! Now who would dare to lay a hand or picks a fight on him?! Only fools will do that! They will instantly get killed without a second thought!"

"Yeah! And I hear that his friend Mr. Reeves Val Hungevszky was a boss of a top dark organization! He must be making a double amount of money than Mr. Kyenzi Byanzheki!"

"Nevertheless, they're both have a huge reputation!"

"Yeah that's right"

"Hey, maybe we should stop hanging with each other at the public"

"Why?"

He glanced at me when he stop eating.

"I just thought it would be the best. They were obsessed with me that they even checked your background. Only to found out that I have a friend that's part of a world's organization. I don't want to stand out more. I'm more famous than the group of actors and actresses here in Japan. Not only here and i'm commonly known all over Asia."

He chuckled as he began eating.

"Why do you care about them?"

"Ha, I don't like attention. If I were to decide my own life, I would like to become a dirty farmer living in a distant country than to become a right hand man of a well known company"

"Then do you like to throw away everything you have now and live as a farmer, hmm?"

I glanced at him and then chuckled.

"How could I? If I do that my father's dead body may come back and hunt me! We both know how he's proud of me and how he want me to become the CEO of the company"

"Now that you've mentioned it, why does your brother still not planning on giving you his seat?"

"Maybe because he's worried about the pressure and responsibilities that I have to carry on once I become the CEO of our company"

He nodded and then drink the wine.

"Kyen, I understand your whereabouts but, the rumors will not die down if you don't become the CEO. The longer you stay in that position the longer the public will become more in range. They might judge and criticizes your brother's decision"

"I know, that's why i'm planning to have a private talk to him..."

It was sunday morning when Reeves decided to go for a walk with me.

"What about we go to a cafe?"

I suggested. The two of us refrain from being touchy since this is a public. And many eyes were on mine.

"That's a good idea"

As he agreed, I know a cafe that offers good coffee and also let ou read many kinds of books. It's a perfect place for the two of us.

"Sir this is you macha latte"

I smiled at the waitress.

"Thank you"

I saw him blushed.

"I'm jealous, why did you smiled at that waitress?"

"Stop having jealous with a useless reason! Of course it's normal to smiled at someone who worked hard. You don't know what she's been going through"

"Hmph, but still"

After a few more minutes of silence. It wasn't awkward, realy. The two of us also want a quiet place to keep calm and we're both fonds with books. He decided to read "Black mirrors" while I started reading "Hundreds of Trials". It was a peaceful time, but then someone called my name.

"Kyen-chan!!!~"

The two of us looked at the direction if the voice. I noticed a familiar appearance. No it could be... Shit why would we meet him right now?! This is disaster!

The man with a tall appearance and has a gray hair came into me and hugged me tightly.

"I've missed you! You didn't contact me!"

Shit!

"Ehem"

I heard Reeves' voice. He restrained himself as he looked at Reeves and noticed Reeves glaring at him.

"Kyen-chan who's this?"

"He's my friend, his name is Reeves Val Hungevszky. Reeves, this is Seinki Hayamoto. He's... How do I put it"

"I'm Kyen-chan's ex. But even after that we're still friends, nice to meet you Hungevszky-san"

"Ex... Huh? It's a pleasure to meet you, sir"

I noticed Reeves sudden change of attitude. He smiled sweetly at Seinki.

"So what are you doing here?"

Without a second thought I asked him.

"Oh, I saw you at the window so I came here to say hi. And ask if you have time to hang with me just like old times!"

"I'm currently busy with our company and I have a friend here who's always keep me busy"

"Is that so? Too bad..."

He made a sad expression. Shit, this is the worst.

"But I can make a schedule at hanging out with you"

"You sure?! No taking of words okay?"

"Y-yeah"

He looked at his wrist watch as he gasped.

"Oh shit, it's already this late?! Then i'll see you again next time!"

He waved goodbye as I waved back. After he leave, I suddenly felt a cold aura behind me. As I looked back, I saw Reeves' expression. It was the first time he looked at me with a serious face with his arms crossed.

"We've been together with almost half a year, but you never mentioned someone like him. Now i'm curious, is he the only one?"

I shrugged off as I chuckled.

"I didn't mentioned him since I don't like talking about my past exes. Nevermind, he's just a friend of mine nothing more"

"So, are you making plans with him?"

"Yes, it's been a while since we hang out. But it won't take for too long I promised"

"I trust you but I don't trust him, take me with you"

"What?"

"I said take me with you, I won't approve"

"Geez you're troublesome"

He looked away and then ignored me.

I sighed.

"Okay i'll take you with me. But I need you to restrain yourself and act normally towards him, is that a deal?"

He looked at me and smiled.

"Of course"

Well, I do understand why he felt uneasy. If I were also in his position, maybe I would feel the same way... Or even worst. Even so according to novel, Reeves never had a lover except for unrequited love for Wellian. So I don't have to worry about him intangled with someone else other than Wellian.

After two weeks, I called Seinki that i'm free tomorrow Saturday. Reeves immediately cleared all of his schedule at Saturday important or not he don't mind.

And at Friday night he didn't let me sleep. We made love and we overdid it... Again. The morning comes and it's Saturday, I was relieved that Reeves didn't leave marks at my neck since I scolded him last night. I immediately take a shower and after i'm done he wake up with a seductively smile on his face.

"That won't work on me"

He frowned.

"I thought I can stop you from coming"

I sighed as I smiled at him.

"Sorry but i'm not a type of man who goes back at his word. If you don't get up, then i'll leave now"

He immediately get up from bed and take a shower. I chuckled as I went into the dining hall to have a tea and wait for him. We eat breakfast together. I noticed that he only wear casual clothes. I thought he would look himself more formal, that would be too awkward.

Seinki is currently waiting at the park. And Reeves and I arrived at the right time.

"Did you wait long?"

He shook his head.

"No I haven't, oh you brought your friend then it's good!"

I noticed a group of four people came running towards us. There are two guys and two girls.

"Oh you haven't meet them right? This is Minami, Alice, Kizu and Gurn"

Reeves and I nodded as we introduced ourselves.

"I'm Kyenzi Byanzheki and this is Reeves Val Hungevszky my friend"

"Wait—I know you! Aren't you the right man's CEO of **** company?" -Alice

"Yeah! He's more handsome at personal!" -Minami

"Hey dude, you didn't mentioned you got acquaintance with him! He's seriously at another level!" -Kizu

"It's a pleasure to meet you is it okay to call your first names?" -Gurn

"Yeah" -Reeves and me

The seven of us enjoyed riding a roller coaster at the park. We also enjoyed playing and getting prizes at the stalls. But I didn't expect Reeves win every stalls and get all of the prizes and gave to me.

"But I don't need all of these, hey guys do you want this?"

They immediately grabbed almost all of the prizes and gave thanks at me. But I didn't gave the fluffy stuffed toy chick since it was really cute.

I smiled at Reeves.

"Thanks I really like it"

At lunch, we went eating at a fast food restaurant. Reeves didn't eat much as he just take a quick bite at a fried fries and drinks. I enjoyed eating fried chicken and sundae.

"You have some leftover here"

Reeves pointed out.

"Where here?"

He shook of his head as he removed it with his bare hand and lick the sundae, that made me a sudden blushed.

"The two of you are really close"

Seinki started teasing me.

"Stop teasing me"

"Hehe, but it is true. Reeves-san has a calm and collected personality. He's like a rock, not moving an inch but then get reacts everytime he sees you"

"Haha you're exaggerating. Reeves is always like that, others thought that he's not friendly but once you got to know him he's really nice"

I brushed off his curiousity.

They began to change the subject. I looked at Reeves when he held my hands under the table. The two of us were sitting next to each other. I don't know but I felt relieved when he held into my hands.

It was already sunset when they leave. Only Seinki, Reeves and I left.

"I really have a good time, Kyen-chan"

"Yeah, me too"

He glanced at Reeves then smiled

"Take care of my friend okay? But I don't have to worry since afrer today. I finally realized that Kyen-chan found his everlasting happiness"

"Ha-ha what are you talking about?"

"Don't play dumb to me Kyen-chan."

Oh, I guess he found out.

"I'm happy that you're happy right now. All these years, I felt guilty about our past relationship didn't end well. After seeing you today, I felt relieved"

"Sorry"

"No it's okay"

After a few more minutes of silence.

"Reeves-san please take care of him for me. And I'm sorry for everything i've done"

I shook my head.

"No, i've already forgiven you a long time ago, so it's really okay"

He smiled warmly at me as he waved goodbye.

"I don't mean to pry but, i'm curious"

I looked at him.

"I want to know what happened between you too. But I won't force you if you don't want to talk about it"

He patted my head. I hold his hand and touch it to my right cheek and smiled.

"No, i'll tell you. It feels like you have the right to know about it"

We came home and the two of us walk closely at each other at the sala. His arms were wrapped around mine.

"When I went to high school, didn't I tell you I got homeschooled? But I forced my father to attend highschool like a normal people because I want to experience what it would be like having friends.

My father want me to attend at a private shool but I forced him to let me go at a public high school. That's when I met Seinki, he was my first friend. When I first transfered in Asahigaoka High School, no one want to get close to me since i'm always quiet. Others tried to approach me but at the end, they'll just want something from me.

Like they would borrow my pens and never return it, so I got annoyed and confronted them telling my problems with them. They laughed at me and rumors spread that i'm a very rich person and that I just went to that school to brag about my wealth.

At that time, Seinki involved himself with me. He was famous at our school for his bright and kind personality. He's good at sports and he's also a council president when the two of us were still a first year high school.

He scolded everyone for bullying me and that's when the two of us became friends. He always hangs out with me, since I don't have one to spend some time with. At first, I was clearly pity myself because I know his intentions. He just hangs up with me because I have no friend it's like it's his own responsibility. But at the months passed by, he confessed to me that i'm different from others.

He said that, 'You're no like the rumors. You're not arrogant as they said. You're honest and kind. I've never met people like you'

We became so much close than anyone else that I always visits his house and we play games every night and never come home. Of course father was worried but I tell him that I met a new friend. Until something happened between us.

'How do you feel about me?'

'What do you mean, Seinki?'

'Are you into guys? What if I tell you i'm into you?'

He kissed me and before I could deny I kissed him back. The two of us started going out. And we were happy at that time, I always thought to be with him... Forever. But things gotten worse as the days passed by.

I get jealous everytime someone approached him. How can I be not jealous? He's so dazzling and everyone likes him unlike me. That's why i'm jealous. We always argue over the same things over and over that he got sick of it. At the end he broke up with me.

'I can't take this anymore! I like you but if you're going to argue with me over these useless things then it's better if we go in a separate ways!'

And then that's it. But I last saw him when in my father's funeral. He apologized for all of what his done to me, at that time I can't get him an answer. But when I arrived at the New York at that time, I totally forgiven and moved on at him"

Reeves kept quiet for a while. And after a few more moments he kissed me in the forehead.

"I'm glad you two broke up, if you didn't then I could've met you and I would be in a real mess right now"

I chuckled.

"We still got to meet each other since my brother took away your unrequited love"

"Tsk, I don't care a bit of him right now and even in the future. I just wish him to have an everlasting happy relationship with your brother"

"So, even if that happens we still got to meet each other"

"Yeah but if we got to meet each other in s different times, I know you're the one for me. I would grabbed your hand and pull you into mine and kiss you after that i'll never let you go"

"You jerk, at that time i'm still in love with Seinki, what would you do?"

"Tsk, stop thinking about it. What important right now is we're already together"

I laughed.
