Engaging a Fight

Kira's embarrassment immediately vanished as soon as she heard the loud bang a few hundred meters outside the infirmary where she and Herro are staying.

Herro also grew alert, and he even tried to get up from lying, but his existing injuries made him feel a great amount of pain that forces him to lie back on the bed. Kira noticed this and hurriedly gave Herro the zombies.

She helped Herro to absorb the zombies. Herro extended his right hand, and Kira placed the head of the zombie atop of his palm.

Then the zombie was absorbed through his palm in just two seconds. Then Herro felt that some of his injuries had already vanished, so he decided to ask Kira to help him remove his bandages. "Can you help me loosen the bandages?" He asked Kira.

Kira was in a serious mode right now, and she didn't bother to reply back at Herro, and she immediately loosen the bandages.

Herro noticed the uneasy look on Kira's face, and he knew that she was worried about the laugh and the loud bang that came from outside.

"I can manage myself now so you can check what is happening outside. But be careful. It doesn't mean that we're invincible since we're already as strong as Mutants." Herro reminded Kira to remain vigilant and not to act carelessly.

Kira nodded at him, and she hurriedly exited the infirmary to check the place where the laughs and where the loud bang came from.

Kira knew that there are stronger Enhanced out there that could easily kill a mutant with a single shot from their guns or with a single slash of their swords.

Herro absorbed the remaining zombies hurriedly to try and help Kira if she is in trouble. It will not take him a long time to absorb the remaining zombies, but he didn't know if these are enough to heal his injuries to the point that he will be able to fight.

Herro continued to absorb the zombies while Kira is on her way towards the location where the laughs and loud bangs came from.

With Kira's speed, she immediately reached the location where the loud bang and the laughs came from. She saw the armory is already opened, and then a man came out of it carrying a crate filled with guns.

Kira shouted at them, and she said, "Hey! Put that crate down or else!"

The guy who came out of the armory was startled at first, but then he started to laugh. Kira grew furious when the man she threatened started to laugh. She wanted to rush to him and slap him hard that his head will fly off his body, but she decided to hold back her anger.

"Hey, guys! There is a fine beauty here threatening me to put down the crate of weapons that I'm carrying." said the man which Kira had threatened.

One by one, the members of the Punky Scavengers came out of the armory, including their leader. They were curious about what did the man who Kria threatens is talking about.

Then when they look in the direction where the man who Kira threatens is looking, they saw a fine beauty with a princess-like disposition and charms.

"You're indeed right, Mike!" said Bert, who looked lustfully towards Kira. Kira was wearing skinny jeans and a slightly tight V-necked Black shirt. Due to the tightness of her clothes, her body shape and her sexiness were showing.

She does not plan on letting this group of punky idiots live and see the next morning sun because of their vile and toxic mindset.

She said that if she met this group before she was able to meet Herro, she would be powerless to face them, and she would just become a plaything for them.

And what if they found someone after she let them go and use her to release their sexual frustration, she won't be able to sleep peacefully at night knowing that a group of animals that she let escape are rampaging and doing some vile inhumane things.

All of them momentarily stopped laughing. Then they stared at Kira intently for a couple of seconds and then continued laughing. Their laughs were a lot louder compared to before. It was as if they were mocking Kira.

"Do you think you can defeat us in a fight? Well, maybe you could defeat us if we fight with the bed as our battlefield! Hahahahaha!" it was the leader who mocked Kira now.

Kira's blood was boiling in rage as she listened to their mocking and irritating laughs.

Kira couldn't take it anymore, and she took the initiative to launch an attack. She didn't show them her full strength. She's limiting her speed and strength to only 40%.

The Punky Scavengers stopped laughing and prepared themselves. Although they were mocking Kira, they were pretty serious in a fight even though they knew their enemy is just a girl.

From the surface, they looked like they were underestimating her, but her ability was still a mystery for them, and maybe before they could subdue her, one or two of them died in the process.

Kira attacked the one nearest to her, and it was the one who was carrying a crate and the Punk who she threatened, the one named Mike.

It was shot by their teammate who was at the back.

Kira somersaulted mid-air and managed to land on her feet. She wiped the water that is making her face wet. Then she analyzed the situation.

The that is named Mike seems to have the ability to control earth-related objects, including concretes and stones, or he could have a telekinetic ability.

And the one who shot her the water seems to have the ability to control water or any liquid substance.

Their teamwork is awesome, and they knew how each of their teammate ability works. They also have a great amount of experience from fighting for a long time, so they should be an easy opponent, especially for Kira, who is limiting her abilities.

"This fight might be a little harder than what I expected."
