It was a cold night, chilling winds passing throughout the city and rippling throughout the air. Many of the city's inhabitants wore thick and layered clothes to keep themselves warm from the cold air that is breezing through the busy city of Fuchsia.
"Things haven't changed much in Fuchsia City, have they? Anzu really kept her promise." Natsume said as she observed Fuchsia city from one of the pagodas. She was impressed with her fellow specialist as she knew how valuable Fuchsia City's conservatism was. The wind blew through her short hair. She decided to breathe the fresh air as a person walked behind her. She didn't react to the person as she focused on looking at the night sky.
"For better or worse, Fuchsia city remains the same. But there are times when change must happen." The person uttered. Natsume sighed as the person walked to the nearby rail and stood near Natsume.
"Fuchsia City is a very stubborn city, tried to convince Koga to adopt some changes but nope, they stayed the same. The same goes for Anzu. Well, it seems like the saying is true, like father, like daughter." Natsume stated.
"So, why did you bring me here to Fuchsia city? I thought Celadon was our main priority since the boy is there." She asked.
"You know the Safari zone, right?" The man asked the specialist.
"The den filled with overly strong Pokemon? Yeah. " Natsume muttered.
"And you know the abundance of Nidokings there?"
"I'm guessing that the boy wants a Nidoking. So what?"
"You do know how agitated the trainer is, doing everything he can to become the very best."
"Yeah, didn't you say that's the reason he'll be the most important asset for Team Rocket? "
"Yes, but there's something else than that."
Natsume looked at them with curiosity, as she had never heard any other reason besides Yoake being an important asset because he's deterministic. She raised her eyebrow as she continued to look at the person.
"That is?"
"It's better for you not to know."
Natsume sighed in disbelief, rolled her eyes after hearing the words from her boss. She was curious about the 'other' reason, but it seems that the reason can only be known to the boss.
-
"Nidoking, Ability: Own Tempo." It seems that this Nidoking is very different from its kind. Its current known moves are trash, leer, Horn Attack, and Double Kick. "
Yoake tilted his head as he was confused about Nidoking's ability. He knows that the only known natural abilities that a Nidoking knows are Rivalry and Poison Point, but this one felt like Nidoking was trained, but by who?
While this was happening, Gardevoir sensed an omen. She can hear loud and thundering noises from bikes and she can see the dangers up ahead. She gulped in fear as she knew that if she didn't act, her trainer would be in danger.
"Strange…" Brock muttered as he scratched his chin while looking at the Pokedex. The two were confused and suspicious about the mysterious ability of Nidoking. Gardevoir, on the other hand, seems to know the reason, but since she couldn't communicate with the two, she decided that they must know it on their own.
As they were busy discussing Nidoking's ability, they heard a faint roar from a group of motorcycles. It didn't take long as a group of bikers passed by and began to cause a ruckus. Many Fuchsian city citizens have begun to hide. Some closed their doors, others quickly rushed to nearby buildings and locked them.
"What's that all about?" Yoake asked as he was confused about what happened. Brock quickly realizes that they're in big trouble.
"Oh no..." Brock whispered as he began to panic. Yoake was confused about what was going on, but Gardevoir, on the other hand, prepared a small ball on the back of her hand in case things went wrong.
"Quick, we have to hide!" Brock told them with utter panic.
"What? Why?" Yoake asked him.
"Just! Gardevoir, do you have Teleport?" Brock asked the Pokemon. She shook her head as a no.
"I've replaced her Teleport with Shadow Ball." Yoake said. Brock's panicking becomes worse as they see a looming shadow in front of them.
"Well, Well, Well. What do we have here?" A grunted voice said, "Brock turned around and saw five giant men, all in matching uniforms. They were bald, wearing a biker jacket with a black shirt underneath, black pants, and long boots. One of the men quickly realized that the specialist was here and it seems that he has company.
"So you're Gym Leader Brock from Pewter City?" One of the grunts said. Brock was nervous as he tried to correct him, but he decided to nod as an answer.
"What's going on?" Yoake asked the specialist in utter confusion.
"Hm, and who are you supposed to be?" The grunt gave the trainer a cold stare after asking the question. While Brock was breaking down, Yoake was adamant. He was calmed as he unknowingly stumbled upon one of the most ruthless gangs in Kanto.
"Yoake Katsuragi, and who are you?" He asked them.
"Huh, a Katsuragi." One of the grunts repeated after hearing the trainer's name.
"The name is Krook and I'm the leader of the black biker gang, and these are my boys." The leader introduced himself.
"Now that's out of the way, let's talk about business."
"Business? What business?"
"You know, important stuff." Krook stated. He quickly realized that there was something wrong with the kid. It felt like he didn't know what he was referring to.
"Hmmph. I see." The leader stated as he looked at the two with a firm look. Brock slowly took out a Pokeball from his belt and patiently waited for a moment to strike a battle. He wants the three of them to be able to escape from the gang unharmed.
"Brock, what are you doing?" Yoake whispered to the trainer as he saw him preparing a Pokeball.
"Planning our escape. STEELIX, GO!" Brock said as he threw the Pokeball in front of them. A tall snake-like Pokemon covered with grey steel showed up from the thrown Pokeball and gave a menacing look to the gang.
"Oh. Is it a battle, eh?Well, how about this? " Krook said this as he instructed his boys to throw their pokeballs into the battle and start a fight with the specialist.
Brock tightens his grip on his fist as he starts the battle with the gangs. Yoake was planning to join the battle, but Brock stopped him as he knew how ruthless these gangs could be.
"You two, run."
"But what about you?"
"I'm a trainer, just like you! I can help." Yoake protested the specialist's findings.
"Listen, I am a specialist, and it's my duty to protect citizens like you, regardless of status. Now you two, run!" Brock stated. Yoake was about to continue his protest, but he decided to listen.
"Come on Gardevoir, we have to go." Yoake told his Pokemon. Gardevoir shook her head no, as she knew that if they ran away, an inevitable disaster would happen between them.
'Come on. We have to run." Yoake repeated, but Gardevoir continued to shake her head as an answer.
"WHEEZING, let's Go!"
"Muk, let's go!"
The grunts throw out their Pokemon to start the batttle. Yoake wanted to help Brock balance things out since he'd be fighting two grunts at the same time, but Brock refused. Yoake knows that Steelix won't be affected much by Poison-type Mons such as Wheezing and Muk, but he worries about being overwhelmed by the two.
'Gardevoir's Psychic can defeat the two. But...' Yoake thought.
'Yeah, Brock can handle this, he's a specialist. He has a duty to protect the people of Kanot, no matter what the cost may be. ' Yoake said as he ran to Gardevoir, grabbed her arm, and quickly ran away from the fight.
Krook quickly noticed that the two were running away. He looked at his far-right and nodded a signal, a signal wherein two bikers prepared their bikes and chased the two. As the two bikers were about to chase the two, two shurikens managed to hit the two bikes, rendering them impossible to use. Brock turned around, looked above, and saw a figure standing on top of a roof of a nearby house. It was none other than the Fuschia City Poison-type Specialist, Janine.
