Frost ran at Winter. Winter stomped on the ground and cheated what looked to be a giant shield made of ice.
Frost kept running at Winter.
(What is this feeling? My eyes…my fear? It feels as though I'm gaining more confidence and power…)
Frost leaped into the air and punched the ground, creating a gaint crater from the impact.
"Ice world!" Winter yelled while jumping.
A beautiful light blue surrounded the area around Frost. He looked around and could feel himself freezing.
"Eyes of the ice god…first form: eyes of grief."
(Ice god!?) Winter thought.
Winter could feel the ice around her melting. "He's melting my-his eyes are so cold that it's melting my expansion!" She said.
Frost sprinted at Winter. Winter saw a glimpse of Frost as a child running at her with a smile on his face.
(How did it come to this?) she thought to herself.
"Ice Sword!"
"Heavenly ice sword!"
Frost's sword was much bigger than Winter's. "Where are you getting all this power from?" She asked.
"The snow!" He said as he kicked her and sent her flying across the field.
Frost jumped in the air and clapped his hands.
Winters feet were frozen in place. Frost jumped at her with the sword in his hands and slashed the left side of her face.
(I can't heal? It's Frost…his eyes-there slowing my abilities by a large amount!")
Jade ripped off her feet and jumped back.
She pushed hard and forced her regeneration powers to kick in.
(We'll live together and grow big and strong to protect mommy and daddy!)
"All these damn memories…stop it, Winter! What's gotten into you!?" She asked herself.
Winter looked up and could see a giant hammer made of ice headed towards her face.
Frost hit her upside the head and sent her flying once again.
Blood poured from Winters head as she struggles to stand on her feet.
Frost had a crazy look in his eyes. He didn't look like the same guy from before.
"I'm gonna kill you and make you regret leaving me alone!" He yelled as he laughed.
(I have my reasons, brother. You just aren't ready for the truth, yet.)
Winter got up. Frost punched her in the stomach and sent her into the crowd of soldiers.
The soldiers all ran at Frost. Frost stood in place with a smile on his face and his sister's blood running down his face.
"Ice creation: deadly Forrest!" He laughed.
Spikes made out of ice came from everywhere in the ground and penetrated every soldier. Thousands dead in seconds.
Frost closed his right eye and started to look around. "Where are you, sister!?" He yelled out.
Frost was shocked to feel a powerful kick on the side of his face. He turned to see Winter covered in some armor made out of her ice.
Frost tried to close his left eye but couldn't, as Winter stabbed him through the stomach with her sword. She slammed him in the ground and held him there.
Rage filled Frost's eyes.
"I'll end your pain." She whispered.
"Ice dragon…triple headed king!" A giant dragon made of ice came diving out of the sky and towards Frost.
"Breath of ice."
Winter jumped out of the way and watched at blue flames surrounded Frost.
"That shouldn't done it. That means i can finally be able t-" Winter turned around slowly to see Frost's eyes glowing through the flames.
"I'm not done with you yet! I'm gonna make you suffer before you die! You hear me? I'm gonna rip you apart!" Frost said in his deepened voice.
A crazy laughter could be heard from Frost and he punched the ground. When doing so, the ground started to split into two.
Nzinga stood and watched in amazement. "This…isn't the same boy…this is a whole different Frost. Right now…he's stronger than even Jerome!"
Nzinga jumped back as the ground was splitting. Jerome and Aliyah ran further away.
Lava could be seen at the bottom. "The power that father feared…I can see why." Winter said to herself.
"Frost, your the first on thousands on years to have god-like powers in our clan. Father was close but not as close as you. If this works out then…" Winter smiled and walked towards Frost with her dragon right behind her.
Memories ran through Winters mind as she approached him.
"What's gonna be his name mama?" Winter asked.
"We're thinking about naming him Frost. After our great clan. Isn't that right, sweetie?" The woman asked.
The king turned around with a smile on his face. "Of course! He's gonna be a proud son of mine and a very strong one too!" He said with encouragement.
Winter stared at her father with disbelief. "I've never seen you smile so much before, dad!
"I'm just so happy we finally have our family. Nothing will happen!"
Later that day.
Winter woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. She could hear loud commotion outside her room. She took a peak and listened.
"One of your children are the child of prophecy! We need to kill them now so our world doesn't come to an end!" The crowd yelled.
"Everyone please…my child isn't the child it! That I can assure you!" The king said.
"No,no, there was a huge light that came in the sky on the day of your boys birth! And he even has the dragon mark of leadership on his head!" The crowd yelled back.
The king fell in silence as people started to throw stuff at him. He shut the door and went back inside.
"Mommy, daddy…what's gonna happen to Frost?" Winter asked.
"My queen…you know what u must do!" The king said to Frost's mother.
"NO! If you play this pretend game and raise him that way all for these two to fight then…I won't have it! They won't be the same kids anymore!" She yelled.
"I see. Well then, forgive me my wife. I have no choice but to-to-kill you and blame it on our son!" He said as he broke down crying.
"The people believe one of our children are the child of prophecy! If they keep this up then…war will break out between the clan and create chaos!" He explained.
She grabbed the king by the head and touched them together. "Whatever happens…I'll lay my life down for the clan anytime! But promise me this, Holden. Don't let our son live a dark and lonely life!" She said as tears ran down her face. I-I barley got to hold him. She said.
The king created a ice sword and wailed. "Forgive me…" he said as he drove it through her stomach. Frost landed in Winter's arms and started crying.
"It's gonna be alright, it's gonna be alright." Holden said as he held Frost and Winter in his arms.
Winter snapped out of her memories and focused on the present. Tears ran from her eyes as she could see rage in Frost's eyes.
"This…is how it's supposed to be, little brother. The two cursed kids of the clan fight to the death and the one who stands faces father! That's how our life is supposed to go…due to the people of this clan. Have you ever wondered why father treated his own people the way he does? It's because they took away something important to him…and that's our family we had." She said.
"May the odds be in your favor…and may the best fighter win!" She yelled as she ran at Frost.
