Now, think of what would have happened if she had not made those clones.
Wouldn't Taika sense them anyway and be more worried of us or what we were up to?
Think about it.
She would have come up to the carriage and found us as well as our clones that weren't us.
She would be confused and then she would think about what was the real ones, but before she could have done that, we would have vanished anyway and reached you.
