Chapter 25

Bella

I woke up in a dark place. I felt tired and sore.

"Bella," I heard echo

"Yes," I answered

"I am sure you are a little confused but we have undergone a transformation..."

"We?"

"Yes, we. Please don't interrupt. I have been named Isa and you are Bella. We are two sides of one coin; I am a demon and you are an angel.."

"Wait demon? Angel?"

"Again, don't interrupt. You won't remember but I have been awake within since we were born. I watched as our true nature was sealed and we were left for the Volturi to find. It was no mistake, they were meant to find us. The bond was not planned but growing up with the Volturi was always the plan so that when we came into our power we had people to help us. Our parents were forced to find an alternate plan as we could not be raised in either dimension. While our consciousness is separated in time we can learn to work together. My physical appearance isn't well suited for this dimension but we will learn to hone our abilities. Now we need to work together to switch and change into the human facade. It will be painful but we can anchor each other and work through the pain."

"This is a lot of information, but we can talk another time. Tell me what I need to do,"

Together Isa and I worked to find a way to switch positions and change back.

I opened my eyes and I was in Rosalie's room and my parents were standing in front of me. I felt a breeze come in through the window and I realised my clothes didn't survive the change too well. rose wrapped a quilt around me, while my mother was going on about how 'she changed my diapers' and 'she bathed me' 'yes, years ago'.

I looked into my mind and looked for Isa, she was there but weak.

"Isa is weak, I'm not sure what her diet is but I need some," I said to the room.

"Isa drinks vampire venom, from the vein, I am not sure how your body will handle it," said my father.

"I need to try, she is nearly conscious," I stressed to them.

My mother came to stand in front of me, bit into her wrist so her venom could flow and brought it to my lips. As soon as the first taste registered in my mind, I grabbed her wrist tighter and sucked as hard as I could. I felt Isa join me and our teeth extended into my mother's wrist to free some more to feed on. After a moment we pulled back satiated.

I pulled the quilt tighter around me and wiped the remnants from my lips.

"We apologise, we were hungrier than we thought, " said Isa and Bella in chorus.

"It's alright my child, I have always dreamed of being able to feed you from my own body. You only realised a dream I had long forgotten, " Said Athenodora with her hand on Isa'Bella's head. Tears pooled in my mother's eyes, and we pulled her in for a hug.

"Your eyes are blue again," said Rose.

I looked up from my mother's shoulder into the vanity and gasped. It seemed when Isa and I were fronting together there was a visible sign. Isa retreated and my eyes changed back to their new hazel.

"It seems when Isa and I are sharing the front, our eyes are blue. Mine are hazel, what colour are Isa's eyes?"

"Black with no other colour," said Isa in our mind.

"Nevermind, she responded," I told the room, they looked puzzled.

"Let me change and we can have a chat downstairs with everyone."

I went downstairs and met with the family. I told them all that Isa had told me and answered as many questions as I could. My knowledge was also limited but Isa would try to answer them also as best as she could. We had very little knowledge of our history aside from what Isa could remember. They reminded me that James was still hunting me and had already been to my 'house'. I told them my theory about Victoria, Kate was heartbroken and angry but we agreed to come up with a plan to defeat the male vampires and free her.
