"JUST WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT !!??" Lex roared "so what you mean is all this thing had already been set up from the very beginning!? What the Fuck!!"

At this point, it was not possible for Lex to remain calm anymore "fuck! Damn! shit! Bastard!" He cursed and cursed, but the Skeleton King didn't show any sign to attack Lex at all, he remained silent while looking at Lex's outburst. It's not like it was The Skeleton King hobby staring at other's anguish too, he just remained silent

Lex can't read anything from the Skeleton King's bones even if The Skeleton King had his flesh and skin, Lex would still be unable to find anything from The Skeleton King. Lex was irked by that reaction. Or it's more like Lex's trying to find a place to vent his emotion right now.

Then for the first time, the big longsword rested on the Skeleton King's shoulder moved, he swung it down and pointed it at Lex

"!?" at that moment Lex was having goosebumps all over his body, it's like some kind of pressure was pressuring him, his instinct was screaming all around to escape to get away from that Skeleton King as far as he can.

With each step from the Skeleton King that slowly approached Lex he felt the pressure becoming stronger and stronger, (I'd never felt something like this when I fought with Monster before! even Livia never made me feel like this too!)

"Aarrrghhh! Damn it!" Lex cried as he tried to move his lead-like heavy body, *swoosh *swoosh he threw throwing knives with each hand at The skeleton, and *swoosh he threw another small needle which was hard to see too.

It's something Lex learned with Luto Crimson, Hidden weapon's path.

The Skeleton swung his heavy sword to intercept one of the throwing knives, then used his armored shoulder to intercept another one. Lex have already anticipated that so he didn't get surprised at all but…

*Clank

The small needle Lex shot toward The Skeleton King legs which unguarded by the armor were bounced by The Skeleton King's bones

"Hoh~!" The Skeleton King looked at Lex surprised

"How the heck can I aim for his joint, if he didn't have it in the first place!!" Lex protested, Hidden Weapon like its name it unnoticedly struck toward its opponent weakness, small and weak, but deadly, that's the definition of Hidden weapons, but with Undead as Lex's opponent, no joint, no flesh, Hidden Weapon was unusable, even Poison was useless "Damn it!" Lex cursed

"That's not bad, it would be dangerous if This one was still alive" The Skeleton King praised as he charge toward Lex, he swung his Long sword.

"Then be dead already! if you weren't alive, you should be dead! There's no need for the middle part between it!!" Lex avoided The Skeleton King's longsword. "Neutrum, Flow within me, Circulate the flow reach all of its ends, Be my blood, Be my flesh, Be my bone, Replaces and duplicates <Boost>" Lex chanted his strengthening magic as he stepped back"

Lex stepped back each time to avoid the Skeleton King's sword, even if he had his <Mana Skin> he won't get out without scratch being struck by that Longsword, Longsword should be slow but heavy, yet with the Skeleton King's technique and power he can compensate the slow move disadvantage. So Lex had no other way except avoid The Skeleton king's attack

Lex avoid and avoid then he suddenly stopped his movement which made him off guard, it's because they were right in front of the Cave entrance, Lex need to step aside if he want to avoid Skeleton King's attack any further, normally he can take advantage of the terrain inside the cave to limit The Skeleton King's movement

(But I don't know anything about this opponent, he only showed me his sword skill!) Lex thought if they fight inside the cave (and if he had something that can attack bypass me toward Aria, it's the worst! I need to buy her time, I can't take that risk!)

Lex can't take that advantage, and he can't step aside too, because that would mean The Skeleton King can directly charge toward Aria. Then like a strike of lightning Lex understood something as he glared toward The Skeleton King "this was your aim from the beginning!?"

"KA KA KA" The Skeleton King let out a huff of laughter "This is what it means Wisdom came with experience"

"Damn it!" Lex can't help but cursed

"KA KA KA" The Skeleton King Laughed again, as he prepared his next attack, it was then…

Like an explosion the surrounding Mana get pulled inside the Cave, it's like there's a black hole or tornado inside the cave, the surrounding Mana circling absorbed into the Cave entrance

"Umu, This might be bad" The Skeleton King calmly processed the situation and he canceled his attack

"You're too calm Damn it!" Lex retorted "you're not even fazed with something like that!!"

But with that phenomenon Lex got a bit of time for him to prepare his guard again, actually, it didn't help much as The Skeleton King just need a few more moves to break Lex's guard once again, The most important thing is Morale, with that phenomenon and the reaction of the Skeleton King, Lex got a hope a way out from this situation

"The one who lost his calm in a battlefield would be dead in the next second!" The Skeleton King said and he attacked Lex once again.

Lex would receive his attack then he would skilfully bend its trajectory only to bypass him a single hairbreadth, again and again, if he missed once, it would result in fatal damage and death in the next attack.

Lex was a scout, he wasn't a pure front line fighter, but even a scout had their own share of fight, It was what Turner Crimson taught him, 'it's not rare for a scout to be found by the enemy and surrounded by the enemy' then all the Scout under Turner Crimson were taught a fighting style based on self-defense against multiple enemies.

Lex would strike back with his dagger whenever he found a small chance to counterattack, but that was useless too, The Skeleton King wore heavy armor, his dagger would only leave a small scratch on it, and can't damage it any further, and he only gets that chance about 1 or 2 in ten of the Skeleton King's attack. The only happy event for Lex's now is that even after being struck by the Skeleton King's longsword his dagger didn't show any sign of breaking at all. If it broke in the middle of clashing he would instantly dead

(Still! I can't hold this for long! My stamina fell dramatically fast!)

(That's right! We were surrounded from the beginning! My view and attention narrowed down to focus on the Skeleton King alone, that I forgot about the rest!!)

On the other side, The Skeleton King checked his own body "hmm…, it might be because of lack of experience, This one stopped This one attack each time like This one need to breathe which This one didn't need at all, but This one technique old habit it's hard to changes" he muttered, then when he turned back toward Lex he sighted Lex's despair "oh~! You weren't the only one buying time" he stated with a playful tone

"W, why?" Lex stuttered it was unimaginable for him (why would he need to buy time like this?) "you can kill me much faster than that" Lex asked

"This one needs to make sure to catch both of you, and who knows when the others inside the cave sacrifice you to escape alone, or you abandon the one inside to escape on your own, that would be a hassle, but like this, no one can escape anymore, KA KA KA" The Skeleton King explained as he laughed so delightfully it's like a kid who succeeded his prank

"…." Lex was silent for a moment before…. "Ahahahaha" He let out a big laughed

The Skeleton King face's cramped by that for the first time he looked surprised to Lex "What are you laughing about?"

"It's was my thanks to you, haha," Lex said, The despair from his face disappear without a trace "I finally found something I have that was superior to you!" Lex stated

"Hoh~?"

"You said you had memories of the Kings in the past aren't you?" Lex asked before he ridiculed the Skeleton King "maybe you need more memories than that, which was not a King"

"What do you mean?" The Skeleton King's voice was cold unlike before, he let out the same pressure as when he approached Lex before.

(But I didn't feel the same as before) Lex thought

"You didn't understand a thing what it means to be human with a feeling" Lex stated "she sacrificing me? I abandon her? Are you joking? Because if you were That's too hilarious!!"

(That's right…) "It might be correct as a King to choose the best choice, but as a friend… as a family… if it was the worst choice to take I wouldn't hesitate for a single moment to choose it!!"

"…." The Skeleton King was silent, and Lex still can't tell a single thing from his bones too

Lex observed the surrounding undead "even if it means I had to lose limbs and life, I will protect this cave!! COME AND GET ME IF YOU DARE!!!" Lex roared he once again take a stance

After a moment of silence, The Skeleton King finally said something "…Let's see if you had the strength to back that words!" along with the other Undead The Skeleton King charged towards Lex
