Engraved in my Soul
The dream kept on going on in a cycle as if was created just to haunt me for life!
"Allen run, run! Survive…!"
The lips that were crystal clear said those words with no slightest bit of emotion. Eyes piercing through my soul, telling me to run away but my limbs could neither gather up the strength nor the courage to move in the slightest bit.
But that was the last part of the dream, ending my nightmare in half glass empty. Neither getting the knowledge of what it meant nor knowing why it has been haunting me... shoving aside the blanket covered in cold sweats, gasping for air I would open the windows near my bed but the tension and the vibrations in the dream would still slide the ground from below.
Never did I was able to remember the contents of the dream. It was vague yet it felt so close to me that I would get shivers up my spine. Only the glimpse of the man's ring and that suppressing voice was graved in my heart.
But at the end of the day, it was just a dream, nothing more and nothing less. But the sensation I felt and the experience said something else.
What was all that? I kept wondering about it but couldn't find the answer.
