CHAPTER 11 : the unexpected

Lily heard some familiar voices.

Her mind was not sane at that time , so she didn't recognize who was speaking.

She felt, someone was carrying her.

She could faintly smell a very alluring and slightly familiar scent.

Lily was breathing harshly. Her body was burning with fever.

She eventually passed out.

It was quite late at night when they got to the hospital.

It was still dawn. The sun was about to rise.

Lily opened her heavy eyelids.

She saw an unfamiliar sealing.

She sat up from her hospital bed.

Her mother was laying on the sofa in her hospital room.

Due to the rustling sounds, her mother who was fast asleep woke up.

"Darling! Your up?

How are you feeling?"

"Do you know how worried I was, when I got a call from Louis saying your were at the hospital."

Lily's mother said with her tears flowing out her eyes.

"I am so sorry mom, for making you worry."

She said while wiping her mother's tears gently with her hands and hugged her.

'I shouldn't have neglected my condition when I had a fever.'

'And on top of that, I drank alcohol like a crazy person.'

'I hope it isn't anything serious.'

She thought to herself with a regretful feeling.

Leo and Louis were discussing something with the senior doctor incharge out side the room.

After hearing some noise coming out of Lily's room, they opened the door and entered.

Lily's fever was temporarily subdued with the help of some medicines.

She was looking at both them, who had a worried expression on there faces.

Leo and Louis wasn't so sure how to tell lily about this new. They were worried how she would feel.

But Leo had a somewhat angry expression.

"What happened?

Why so serious face?"

Lily asked with a playful tone to lighten up the atmosphere.

"Its... "

Louis hesitated before saying anything.

"By the way how are you feeling?"

Leo cut him of while Louise was trying to speak. And asked lily with a firm voice.

"I am feeling quite alright now.

Though I still feel a bit tired."

"Do you remember what happened to you last night? "

Leo asked while raising his eyebrows.

".... I was just drinking and I had fever.

Then my head started hurting really bad and I think I heard some voices but my mind was hazy ,

so I don't remember anything clearly after that. "

"If you can't handle that much alcohol, then why did you drink. Idiot!"

Leo said in angry but worrying tone.

"Why did something happened?"

"You don't remember who brought you here? "

"Weren't you guys are the one brought me to the hospital?"

"..'No'...., I mean 'yes' we came with you."

But someone else brought us here.

"Who?" Lily asked curiously.

"Do you remember, the guest at our graduation?"

Lily's eyes widened.

Lily's mouth was stuttering while asking.

"Don't you remember, Mr. Ethan."

Lily couldn't believe her ears.

Her face became expressionless.

'Did someone put a curse on me or something?'

'Why that, where ever I go, trouble comes behind me? '

She thought very seriously.

But her mind was exceptionally calm.

Because now, she became use to the shocks, that her life was giving her.

But, she had yet to hear about the most biggest shocking news that would flip her entire life upside down.

"Actually, you were quite drunk when Mr. Ethan came to our table."

"It was a coincidence that we were at the same place. He was sitting on the opposite table to ours, with Mr. Jeremy."

"Louis and I had drank alcohol, And we checked your heath. You were having a serious fever. We both couldn't drive due to alcohol and we couldn't wait for driver to come."

"Mr. Ethan saw the situation and offered to help us."

Leo was telling the story about what happened last night.

But lily was not even surprised now.

Due to all the events happened until today. Compared to them, this situation was just another shock.

She wasn't surprised but it doesn't mean that she was not afraid.

Breaking the silence in the room,

Louis said hesitantly.

There is an important news we need to tell you."

Lily decided to drop off the topic from her head about last night and think about it later.

Then she replied to Louis.

"Yes?

What is it?"

"Me and Leo were just talking to the senior doctor incharge, about your condition."

"Oh yes, it was just a fever and actually my head was also throbbing like crazy, but it's ok now.

I don't think it's anything serious if I take few meds."

Lily said while waving her hand in the air like it was nothing serious.

"Listen till the end will you. "

Leo said while signing with a cold face.

"Ok ok I get it.

Why are you taking it so seriously?"

Lily asked with a clueless expression.

"You think nothing serious happened, maybe because you can't feel it yet." (Louis)

"Feel what?"

Lily tilted her head innocently while asking.

"Your releasing pheromones lily."
