Olivia Miller's POV
Alex agreed to barbecue some seafood after my father was done with meat. My father was totally against it but I got him agree. I was helping my father with the meat while Alex was with my mother choosing clamps and fish to barbecue.
I was looking at them when my father asked me something. "You love him?"
I have no idea why I found this very cliché. I laughed and told him, "I think so."
"What do you mean by you think so?"
"I mean, I am very serious about him. She is different from all the other guys I have dated. It's the way he treats me. I am his number one priority, I am the center of his attention. It's hard not to love someone who treats me like a queen." I mentally gave my shoulder multiple pats. The lies kept pouring and I was amazed.
