"I can't still when I know that people out there are trying to hurt my husband and family," I said thinking about the man.

"I should be the one telling you this," he said and all of a sudden I was engulfed into a hug as he wrapped his hands around me and pulled me to him. I smiled wrapping my hands around him, his manly fragrance affecting me and I realized how much I had missed him.

"You don't need to worry about anything from now on. I'm going to protect you this time. And they will be paying for what they did to you, I promise. They will have to pay for this," he whispered as his voice showed his determination.

"But for now, let's get you out of here. I don't trust the doctors. As you told me, the doctors are also wit-" He was cut mid-sentence when all of a sudden we heard noises. It was as if somebody was coming towards my room and I panicked thinking what if it was the same man. He would definitely try to hurt Zachary if he saw him here with me.
