CHAPTER 5: Breakfast in bed
The morning showed its beautiful face with the sun smiling beautifully as its rays kissed sleeping Al on his bed. His eyes flew open and he stretched lazily and reluctantly sat on his bed. He began to have headaches and memories of what happened last night streamed back. He took some medicines from his bedside drawer and drank them to reduce the headache. He then went to take a shower and went downstairs to look for his dad.
"Dad....Dad, where are you?" He shouted.
"He's not around young sir." The maid replied.
"Where has he gone to his early morning?" He questioned again and this time his butler answered.
"Well, he stayed in the hospital all night he just came his morning took a shower and went back. He said to inform you to go there when you wake up."
"Okay, Sam," Al said and walked towards the dining table for breakfast.
"Al..... " Butler Sam called him.
"Mmmm.." He responded.
"Don't forget to call me when you are ready to go to the hospital I will like to keep your dad company. " Sam informed Al.
"Ok, I'll do that. " Al nodded and Sam left Al to eat in peace. Sam has been working for the Leblanc's for as long as he could remember. He was introduced to the house of Mrs.Leblanc before she left. When she left Sam thought that he will be fired by Mr.Leblanc but it didn't happen rather the man confided in him and handed him the opportunity to take care of the only heir to the company. He help Louis a lot as he could now allocate more time to the business and save it. And ever since he's become part of the family.
***Grey Mansion***
At the Grey, Mansion Scarlet woke up to breakfast in bed.
"Good morning, wife." Austin kissed his wife.
"Morning, babe."She stretched her body.
"And how's my beautiful queen doing today? "Austin enquired
"Mmmm.....fine I guess" she smiled.
"Breakfast in bed for my lovely wife. Bon appetite..."
He said while adjusting the food on the bed for his wife.
"Thanks, love"She smiled and kissed him.
"Should I feed you?" Austin asked
"Naah, I can handle this myself."
"Okay, then I will be downstairs. When you finish let one of the maids get it if am not around. "Austin said and Scarlet nodded.
" I hope I told you that Al will be here this afternoon," Austin asked
"Naah, you didn't. "Scarlet answered
"Sorry, babe it must have slipped my mind."
"Is that necessary for him to be here after the accident last night?" She asked with concern.
"He didn't get hurt he's fine, plus he's coming here so that I review his contract before signing," Austin told their wife.
"Isn't that supposed to be done in the office?" She asked
"Yh, but I have brought my work home so that I can keep an eye on you and help you when you need it."Austin announced
" okay. " she said and began her meal and Austin left her to eat.
