Part Seven

People starts to gather in the venue of the banquet. You can clearly see the difference if you're from a well of family or not. We as usual wear our common clothes.

I simply wear a dress I used every day. I do not need to be flashy as I came here to celebrate and enjoy the food.

I saw Alexandra and Jeremy, they we're with their partner. Geez, they brought those two people here. I walk towards to their direction. Alexandra then notices me and wave here hands, like she was saying they we're there.

"You're here already, what are you drinking?" I asked them then sit.

"I brought your man with us; He seems lonely in the prison cell. HAHAHA" Zandra said while laughing.

"Do whatever you want. I'll enjoy the food here." I said to them and grab some piece of meat on the table.

"The news that nobles will be here is no joke, no? HAHAHA!" He said and focus on the man beside him. "Here, eats some more meat, and drink we will be having some fun later." While raising here brows up and down. Like She's teasing him.

"Ah-ah, I can eat by myself. I am not a kid." He spoke. I don't know his name.

"Leticia, how are things with you? Does Jeremy bother you?" I suddenly ask her. It looks like she's startled.

"I.. I ahh.. I am doing good. He treats me well." She shyly said while blushing. Oho! Look at that face.

"What? Do I look like I will hurt her? You hurt my feelings commander!" Acting like he's hurt.

"Ha! Jeremy, look even commander thought that you'll do something to her. HAHAHAHA. Ry, I ask the same thing to him a while ago." Zandra said while laughing her lungs out.

"What is your name again?" I point out the man who's sitting beside Leticia.

"The name is Timmo Asellio,I am the Crown Prince Personal Knight." He spoke.

"Then this man that you brought along is?" I pointed out the other guy who's in front of me.

"He is the Crown Prince of the Oblaria Kingdom, Artur Oja Kinova." Timmo speak for the man.

"You are related to Leticia. So you're a princess?" I said while drinking booze.

"Yes, I am the second Princess of the Kingdom Oblaria. The first princess died a long time ago because of some sickness." Leticia explains.

"Ahhh, now that I look at both you, you have the same eyes but different hair." I bluntly spoke.

"By the way, I may be the one who killed your father but I mean no harm to weak people. I just did my duty as a Knight." I told them. "The name is Ryder Zenobia, no need to be formal."

"You seem to be popular with men. As I see that they keep staring at you." Artur said.

"HAHA! Ry is popular not only with men but also with women. Look at that smug look on her face." Zandra said.

"HAHA! Yeah, I remember how many men she turned down. Even nobles do not have a chance to laid their hands on her." Jeremy spoke too.

"They seem reluctant to come near our table. Afraid?" Timmo said while looking around.

"There was a time that she had a fight with the other squad knight alone. After that they are afraid to come near her or get on her bad sides. Although there are still knights who keep belittling her." Jeremy added.

"Before we dispatch to the war zone, she took down men who disturb our training. So be careful not to pissed her off. HAHA!" Zandra said

"HAHAHAHAHAHA" Jeremy and Zandra both laugh.

"Laugh all you want; I can change your training routine after this banquet." I threatened them.

"Ahhh, Our beloved commander, so pretty and kind. Reconsider the training. We just got back from a war. We need some time to rest." They both said.

"HAHAHAHA" The three people laugh at Jeremy and Zandra.

I just keep on eating and drinking but it's too awkward when someone keeps on glancing.

"Do you have something to say?" I ask Artur because he keeps on glancing on me.

"Ah, nothing." Look like he's hesitant to speak what is on his mind.

"Okay, I'll roam around, enjoy your stay here." I said and stood up to walk around the area.

It is best to check if there's something suspicious or any problem. Since this place has a high ranking people gathered.

I saw someone at the back of the tree. I walk towards the direction to check if everything is alright. I saw a silhouette of a man. Looks like he is drinking alone. I grab a bottle of booze then walk towards him.

"Why are you here alone? It's dangerous to be here." I said then the light flash to his faced.

Wow what a dazzling feature, with this kind of handsomeness for sure that women keep on pestering him. "Does the reason you are here is because the noble ladies keep bothering you?" I ask him.

"Ah, that's one of the reasons. But I just want a quiet place to savor the drink." He spoke. "Why are here, no need to worry I can manage myself." He added.

"Ahhh! I'll accompany you. Let's have a drink. It's too stuffy there." I sit down beside him and our shoulder touched.

"Ah, sorry I did mean to bump into you." I said and move few inches away. He then grabs my arm to move back near him. I can't seem to retaliate to his movement. I don't know why.

"From what Squad are you?" He asks me. "Sit here, move a little closer." He grabs my waist and move me closer to him.

What the hell is happening right now? Why do I feel so hot just by sitting near him?

"Ah, pardon for my impertinence. I am from the Fourth Squad of the royal Knight." I answer him. He's looking at me.

"So you just came back from the war. Are you not afraid of me?" He suddenly asks.

"I don't see a reason to be afraid of you. I just came back from a battle field why would a knight be afraid to a person who is harmless?" I told him while drinking the booze.

"HAHAHA! This is the first time I have heard that someone is not afraid of me." He said then look at me. I was caught up in the moment when I felt something soft on my lips.
