Snape snaps!!! Part 1

"What do we have today?" Neville asked as he poured sugar over his porridge.

"Double potions with the Slytherins," said Ron.

After exchanging some basic information on Snape they received a letter from Hagrid who wanted to have tea with Harry and listen about his first week at Hogwarts.

Neville naturally understood that this was that class in the movie where Snape would openly show hostility to Harry.

Just as he was wondering if he would get a mission related to this event he heard a Ding in his mind.

Mission details: Answer Snape's three questions. No one can bully your friend on your watch. At least 1 question should be answered whereas more questions will result in better rewards.

Mission Reward: Occumulency (Novice /Intermediate/Snape level).

He had tried to learn Occumulency before at the Longbottom manor but had been unsuccessful.

It was easier to progress from one stage to another then to enter the beginning stage.

Snape could shield his thoughts from Voldemort so his Occumulency standards should be among the highest in the wizarding world.

But getting Harry to answer all three would raise some nasty doubts from Snape who may use Legilimency on Harry to find how he got the answers and the system may disband as a result.

After glancing through the mission detail he gulped and then looked at the rewards that he got from molesting...Ahem! no from holding a certain tabby cat.

Felix Felicis or Liquid Luck

This was simply a cheat level item that could allow everything to go your way.

He had previously reminded Harry to revise the potions textbook before the lesson. Now all he could do was to have an impromptu quiz to check his level.

"A quick question: What would I get if I added powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood?"

Harry was dumbstruck at the sudden question and stared at him blankly

Neville then told him the answer and started to review the former's knowledge of One thousand Magical herbs and fungi.

As he continued Hermione suddenly appeared beside him and took over his charge.

If he had any reservations about asking them then she definitely did not bother with it.

Ron and Harry seemed to have given entry to Heaven when Hermione stopped in fear of getting late for the potions.Though after the lesson they may not have thought so.

Even though he knew that Snape would only ask certain three questions from Harry; He couldn't possibly say that to Harry and Ron who were going to be doubtful soon.

The gains weren't worth the risks.

He had been a naughty child in his past life and had a rich experience of hiding candies in his mouth.

This time he would only be using liquid luck!

Potion lessons took place down in one of the dungeons. It was colder here than up in the main castle and would have been quite creepy enough without the pickled animals floating in glass jars all around the walls.

Snape, like Flitwick, started the class by taking the register, and like Flitwick, he stopped at Harry's name.

"Ah! Yes our new celebrity."

Draco Malfoy and his friends Crabbe and Goyle sniggered behind their hands.

Snape finished calling the names and stared up the class.
