Jim

Amy's work wasn't quite easy at all even though it was interesting

"Mrs!" a male voice called when she came down from her car

"Jim! Good morning" she greeted upon seeing her partner.

Jim was her childhood friend who was barely thirty years, his wife divorced him five years ago taking the two kids too.

The reason for the divorce was just too stupid to be true.

"Good morning Mrs, guess what happened today?" Jim always addressed amy as Mrs everytime ever since high school

"What happened big boy?"

"My second child came to stay with me, she's all grown up now" Jim sounded happy

"I'm so happy for you, I pray one day you will be back with your family again" Amy said

"So how's your husband, hope you're enjoying the life of marriage" he asked already moving inside the building

"Oh he's fine, but also overprotective..... There was a time I wanted to go out but it just rained and he wouldn't allow me to leave even when I wore dozens of sweaters and carried a wide umbrella" Jim laughed at what she just said

"Anyways, let's go meet boss he doesn't like waiting and also we have to go to the sea bank before dusk" Amy told Jim before climbing up the stairs
