A walk together with the deities

I remember something that my father told me once. 'Don't give a fuck about anyone, however listen to whatever BS they'll spit on you, turn that into something positive. But never give them any of your attention.'

That was when they knew about the bullying I was getting in middle school. I didn't really understand that statement clearly, but I just did what the last sentence says.

'...Never give them any of your attention.'

Because, The more you give attention to those bastards, the more they'll have fun picking on you. It was like adding fuel into the ignited fire. Douchebags such as bullies has no sense of sanity, they do things that seems entertaining to them, they'll only know they've gone too far when you committed suicide.

Worst, they'll deny that it's not their fault. Not Their crime. They all will deny their actions they have committed to push you enough to the brink of death.

These were the thoughts I had been thinking when I went outside of the underground clinic, of course, I had gotten permission. However, since they still hasn't said anything about the fact that I had woken up, they suggested to lay low, such as never let anyone know about your presence. Be invisible if you dare.

Together with Agapius and Aella, who was in their beast form, they eventually turned me into an ordinary cat, a purplish white cat.

As I walk along with them, students were of course kept on glancing down as we walk pass by them. Perhaps thinking why My two beasts are wandering around together with a cat on their middle.

"Was there a cat in the academy?"

"It's rare to see a wind fox around. Damn, Luna's so Lucky to tame a rare fox and a sacred beast!"

"That cat must be the one mentioned running loose in the forest of illusion."

"It's not another divine beast is it?"

"Probably not, it's too small compared to the other."

"Kind of like a regular cat beasts, and it's probably a poison or shadow type "

"Regular cat beast? Pfft- there's no such thing, the only cat beats we have are those sacred beast. You're reading too much fantasy."

Aren't you all living in a fantasy too?

Ignoring the chatters and attention we received whenever we walk along the hall, we eventually got out of the academy.

'So, Where exactly are we headed?' Asked Aella as we stepped into the cobblestone road.

True, I wanted to get out of that dull, plain, boring room that smell exactly like the hospital. Although, I've never really thought of our destination...Where should we head first?

Clang!

'Oh! What about the oval? There seem to be some students fighting!' Aella cried out in excitement as she run towards the oval.

Agapius and I looked at each other shrugging before following Aella to the noisy oval.

As we do indeed reached it, there was also students fighting, sparring rather.

The noise of metal clanging resonated throughout the open area, shouting of students blended with the sounds of clashing metals.

Standing at the middle of the area was two men holding swords as they clash, sweat was dripping over their faces as well as their cloth was drenched in sweat.

Right, if my speculation is right, today's either saturday or sunday. There are extra classes that students could take during the weekends as well as a free sparring in the afternoon. Students are open to spar with each other unless there's a student Council monitoring them.

When I got a better view in front, my brows raised as I saw who the other person was.

Well, it was none other than Remus, while the opposing side was someone whom I do not know off.

Oh, actually, I seem to have encountered him before.

Hmmm, but where?

Ah!

It was him, the one who electricuted me on the chamber!

I almost did not recognize him for his hair was slick back unlike before, which was a mess.

But, what was his name again?

....

Nevermind.

I watched them in focus as their swords clash and their stance change in each thrust of the metal swords towards each other. Alot of cheers was heard all over the oval.

The moment the Scarlet haired boy took a step back and thrust his sword onwards, Remus also charged avoiding the opponent's swing blocking it. He then swung his sword clanging towards the other which sent it flying upward. Remus then kicked his opponent's leg which made him lost his balance and fell.

Thud!

With that Remus pointed his sword onto his opponent's chin.

The cheers became louder, congratulating the winner. The sword that got out of the grip of the Scarlet haired boy fell clanging into the ground.

Remus lowered his sword as he leaned down extending his hand as he offered to help his opponent on the ground. The other, unfortunately, slapped it out of his way and stood by himself. Bumping into Remus as he went and picked up his sword then walked away from the crowded area with a grim expression plastered onto his face.

With the boy's reaction from losing, I am guessing this wasn't just a normal spar.

"So Rei, how do feel about Remus's defending you from the pyscho ex of yours."

My head turned immediately towards my right as soon as I heard Rinalyn's voice. I can see them standing not too far from where am at, nudging her elbow to Rei who was next to her.

"Puh-lease! He's not my ex, we never even dated, he just courted me despite being rejected then he stopped out of nowhere."

"Maybe because, he knows you still won't give him the sweet 'yes' of yours, so the man gave up."

"I was about to give him a chance since he did seem sincere, but then poof! He's gone and never showed his face to me again, until recently. Hell, I didn't even know he's still studying here, I thought he transferred without notice. I didn't even know we were on the same class."

"Right, You two were on the same class from freshman till last year, weren't you? And still is. Wow, fate!"

Their voices started to become faint for they started to walk away as well as the swarm of students leaving the oval.

So, does that mean the spar was all because of Rei? Hmmm. It's also quite rare to see Remus defending Rei, well, he either was forced or volunteered. I'm guessing it was the former.

While lost in thoughts, I realized how much event happened in less than a month. It wasn't bad, It was fun actually, except the dying part of course.

I sometimes thought of dying, and I guess I'm not particularly scared of it since it is always part of human nature. A cycle. I do want to experience death at some point too, but I hate being in pain.

'Well that was boring.' Commented Aella.

Once most of the students left we three charge forward. There was still some left and the few of them were Rei, Rinalyn and Remus. Funny how their names starts with an R.

I flinch when the three looked at our way, as they began to approach us. Rei however was dragging the sweaty and tired Remus with her, whilst Rinalyn happily run towards us.

"Awe, I didn't know there's a cat in the academy?" Rinalyn crouched and attempted to carry me but hesitated.

I leaned onwards as my head touched her palm. With that she instantly carried me.

"Ah geez! Don't just drag me here just because you saw Luna's Beast- when did we had a cat in the academy?" Remus suddenly remarked as to when he saw me on Rinalyn's arm.

I must say, this is quite embarrassing.

"It's probably just lost." Rei set Remus aside and went to our side, slowly reaching her hand to pet my head, maybe.

"You know be it a human, animal or beast can't go in and out in the academy." Remarked he.

"Well, who knows, it's probably a pet of one of the teachers."

"Yeah pfft, whatever. I'm gonna go change. Later."

Remus all of a sudden patted Rei's head tousling her hair before fleeing to change.

Rei who was indifferent with Remus's gesture turn to Rinalyn, as she raised a brow at her for having a teasing look.

"C'mon! We're practically romantic rivals, geez. Get over your delusions Rina." She proclaimed as she punched Rinalyn in the arm slightly.

Suddenly, I felt Rinalyn flinched, which was also noticed by Rei immediately. However, Rinalyn eventually sighed, putting me down as she then massage her temples.

"Why? What's wrong?" Asked Rei worriedly.

"They're fighting...again."

Rei then sighed after hearing Rinalyn's reply. "About what this time?"

"Hmmm..." She continued to massage the side of her head, and seemed to be focusing on things "They're arguing about dinner...and- huh? A ship?"

"Basically, a bunch of nonsense again?"

"No, no. This is actually pretty good. They're arguing whether you'll end up with Remus or not."

"What?!"

"They're betting."

Their voice started to became faint as we walk away, more likely, I was dragged by Aella and was now on top of her back.

We have literally circled all over the academy's area, but seems like the two were still looking for more thrill.

While walking we encountered a garden at the back of the school. Was there always been a garden here?

'Hmm, seems like a garden that has been forgotten. Let's just go.'

The two walked but I stayed in a daze looking at that peculiar garden. Was that always really been there? Perhaps I didn't notice it since it was in the pretty far back of the academy. Although, you can see the shack from back here.

All of a sudden, I was perplexed when my feet was being lift from the ground. I could also feel the biting in my nape.

'Geez, Don't lag around.'

It was Agapius. He was carrying me like how a mother cat would carry her offsprings. Well, his cat beast form was alot bigger than a normal cat.

Again, I was embarrassed. But I didn't say anything.

Since there was no more left to go, we three decided to go back. Once again, as we pass along the hall way, their eyes were all on us, but they then shifted their gaze in an instant when someone whom I am familiar with pass by us.

"Geez, how can she be walking without any shame?"

"They're twins but she's too much to handle compared to Josephina ."

"Right? I can't believe she was responsible for those previous incidents last year."

The people on the hallway began to chatter and whisper to each other. And they seem to be referring to the twins passing by, but more specifically, Elaina.

Incident? And last year at that. Unfortunately, I don't have any memory from last year. Just what kind of events did I miss during the days I was unconscious?
